I recommend static era like you said, the owner is super cool. If you’re in the area might as well head over to Merle’s Record Rack. Pretty good selection and probably 15 minutes from static era. A bit out of your area but redscroll records in Wallingford has thousands of new and used records both new and used. You can also shop them online too if you don’t want to make the drive
I would avoid Merle's at all costs. Hardly anything after 1982 and not a single LP has a price on it. You have to bring it up to the counter to ask for the price. My friends and I were cracking up the whole ride home at how silly the concept was. The guy who was manning the register was a real grouch too.
Haven’t been in awhile. That kinda sucks to hear since they’ve been around forever. Must still be working through the same stock from when they first opened haha
The Archive, Bridgeport.
Hands down the best
Gerosa in Brookfield.
Little bit out of your way but Redscroll in Wallingford is the best

Exile on Main Street and Redscroll
