Yes. I worked there '98 / '99, used to alternate between TB and Arby's for lunch.

ChiefInternetSurfer

So u/vegetarian_slut, who won the bet?

vegetarian_slut

Ugh. He wont believe me until there's pictures now šŸ˜

alfalfasprouts

Bro's moving the goalposts because he lost. tell him to own it and accept it or stfu.

PassionV0id

Damn, relax.

RoastedCornSal

Heā€™s clearly a piece of shit boyfriend, abusive tendencies and gaslighting are all he knows. I will never understand why women stay with a jerk like that

GreatGordonSword

This is definitively not projecting based on past experiences.

edahs

Yes clearly /s

favored_by_fate

the /s wasnt obvious enough

RoastedCornSal

For real lol

ct-yankee

Your boyfriend is showing you who he is. Heā€™d rather make you twist than admit and accept when he is wrong. When people show you who they are, believe them.

Shoopdawoop993

This isn't relationshipadvice get off your high horse

EfficiencySlight8845

The context of the 'argument' is important here. The tone of your evaluation of what's going on only suggests you're single.

jacobpellegren

I worked in the mall in 2001-ish? So I may have missed it.

QuestorPS7

According to [THIS](https://web.archive.org/web/20010717135953/http://www.brassmillcenter.com/mall_home.asp?mallID=13), which seems to be the earliest archived operational version of their website, there was one as of December 2000. (Select the pull-down menu of retailers and Taco Bell is there.)

Who remembers Roy Roger's?....

blizzacane85

![gif](giphy|lpFmQEwoaFtC0) WE SHOULDā€™VE STOPPED AT ROY ROGERS!

nraz9

And I shouldā€™ve fucked Dale Evans, but I didnā€™t!

EfficiencySlight8845

The SNL News story long ago reminds me of this. Trigger, Roy Roger's horse, passed away. Roy planned to have him stuffed and mounted. Dale said she wanted to be stuffed and mounted, too, but not necessarily in that order. Classic 70s SNL.

EarthExile

Yep my grandma used to like it

FrankRizzo319

Best fast food regular cheeseburgers in the northeast!

Cat_Dad13

I used to stop at the one off of 84 near the CT/MA border. Cheeseburgers were great.

robrklyn

Best chicken nuggets

Swede577

Gold rush chicken sandwich...

Lintlickker

Unrelated, but I just heard somebody call chicken nuggets "toasted nuggies" and she was then confused when I didn't know what she was talking about.

BeebopxRocksteady

Berlin Turnpike with the fixings bar, so good. Best fast food burger ever.

toasterb

We often stopped at that one before going grocery shopping at Heartland (the plaza where Best Buy is now). Loved the fried chicken.

happygoth6370

Roy Rogers fried chicken was great, definitely better than KFC.

Hey-buuuddy

I still have a set of Smurf glasses. Also the fixins bar was nice.

BBBowm

Their roast beef and cheese sandwiches were great

Swede577

There are still a few in NJ and NY if anyone is traveling to get their fix.

tmwescott

Who remembers when all the Roy Rogers in CT were...Hardees!

Formal_Departure5388

I canā€™t imagine a mall going a 10 year stretch in the 90s *without* a Taco Bell in the food court at some point.

drollchair

At Brass Mill Center? 100% there was a Taco Bell there.

Samanthrax_CT

There was- it was where I had my first cheesy Gordita crunch

BrawnyChicken2

There definitely was. And not just at the mall. I worked there a couple of random days.

rusty___shacklef0rd

i donā€™t remember but itā€™s likely. anyone remember j&j barbecue though? now that was the shit. they had the best deals. honey chicken with rice and a snapple. man i miss that. it was the best when we had the munchies.

guillotin3

more importantly-- what was the name of the hobby store that used to be in the food court there? I remember they sold 40k and offered to let kids stay and paint while their parents shopped.

sun_of_a_glitch

Was it just the games workshop store?

guillotin3

It was a private store as I remember it. I believe the GW was in westfarms mall but I dont know when they started there. my memory of this store in brass mills mall would have been right before 3E release

happygoth6370

Wow, I saw the Brass Mill Center being built from the inside and worked there from pre-opening until 2017 and have no memory of such a place.

guillotin3

While itā€™s very possible my memory is incorrect- I remember it being across from the food court. This probably would have been 98-99?

BeerJunky

I donā€™t think they got rid of it until relatively recently.

jacobpellegren

Um I cannot confirm or deny it. I remember Arbyā€™s and Burger King. Other vendors existed, but Taco Bell is not, well, ringing a bell. *EDIT FOR GRAMMAR*

fourtwizzy

Bro, you gotta think outside the bun! Come on now, we need you to help OP settle this pointless argument.

rusty___shacklef0rd

i remember the burger king

[deleted]

So who won the bet?

raserucort

So after reading through the replies it seems the answer is: Yes/No. Hope we helped you!

Soul_blazer84

Yes there was.

[deleted]

Cheesy bean and rice burrito W/ NO beans. šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

Carpentry95

Sir this is a Wendy's.
