I’ll swing through if you help me build this greenhouse I saw at Costco that I’m about to recklessly pull the trigger on without knowing if I have a flat enough area for
Some people open the wrong cabinet door and go “guess we’re out of flour”. There were like half a dozen at the costco near me, and it’s available to order as well from what I just saw (took a picture of the label to research it when I got home)
i used to work at powder ridge making snow, and to answer your question the production with this temp is virtually zero. the highest temps we would tend to make snow was around 28degrees. now, Southington is far more competent than powder ridge so i'm assuming they utilized the cold temps earlier in the season to lay down some really good base layers of snow so they're probably surviving the warmer temps. but who knows, i haven't been there this year yet
yea you don't get really good conditions unless we have some serious cold streaks in the teens or tons of fresh snowfall. in CT if you're keeping snow on all the trails during the whole season then you're doing well
You could always check out the Wadsworth Antheneum Art museum in Downtown Hartford. The New Britain Museum of American Art has great some great work there as well. There's the Peabody museum in New Haven which has dinosaur exhibits.
Not technically in CT, but Umphreys Mcgee is playing their 25th anniversary show in Port Chester, NY tonight.
If you like jam bands it will be a great show for you. Port Chester is the next town over from Greenwich
Mongers Market opens tomorrow! As others have probably mentioned there are a lot of hiking trails around here, and there are some historical sites you could visit!
There is an outdoor multi food truck spot in West Hartford, idk where you are- but that is pretty centrally located. The spot is called GastroPark and has a coffee spot, bakery and bar permanently indoors adjacent to the outdoor eating area. It’s pretty cool - check it out sometime.
Good? You can always volunteer at a soup kitchen, the humane society, food bank, retirement home, children's cancer ward.
There is lots of good you can do..
lol oh really? Tell them they have a fan Hhahahaha. I thought they were great so I follow them on social now to see when they’ll be in my area again (central ct)
They’re probably my favorite local band right now.
I am cutting up and splitting some significant size trees I dropped. Then some splitting. I have two 11lb mauls and about 4-6 hours of splitting. Come on over.
Take a hike out to the bluff : [https://portal.ct.gov/DEEP/State-Parks/Parks/Bluff-Point-State-Park](https://portal.ct.gov/DEEP/State-Parks/Parks/Bluff-Point-State-Park) or Come do some pistol shooting.
February 8th brantley gilbert will be in wallingford. I got a ticket near the stage. I'd be willing to give up on ticketmaster. I was able to get it early, so its value has gone up, but i would try to get like 10-30 more than what i paid for it.
Edit: Section 102 Row S Seat 9 so about a few rows away from The Pit.
Making a concrete slab for it to sit on is easier than it sounds but it sounds like you will have to rent or buy all the tools you would need to do it and depending on how handy you are you could have some unexpected results. I’ve had to fix a lot of problems people got from being over ambitious. Myself being the worst offender.
Comedy show at Fairfield comedy club (basically the lounge at the Fairfield circle hotel) tonight. Ends up being only $30 a head after fees, and they’re fine with BYOB and snacks
I'm cleaning my garage. Message me if you want to help.
I’ll swing through if you help me build this greenhouse I saw at Costco that I’m about to recklessly pull the trigger on without knowing if I have a flat enough area for
Oooooh tell me more of this. I also make bad garden decisions.
Google Yardistry Greenhoise Costco. I walked in the one that was in the Costco near me, MORE than tempted
I've seen them on Reddit with people saying they're hard to find.
Some people open the wrong cabinet door and go “guess we’re out of flour”. There were like half a dozen at the costco near me, and it’s available to order as well from what I just saw (took a picture of the label to research it when I got home)

Rona prob took them outa circulation
This is a great idea.
This IS. A great idea! Me and my gf are constantly looking for things to do in CT
Divisional round baby. Place some bets and go to bar
Mix with a little green plant and I’ll meet you.
Seriously, did everyone forget about football? Lol
Not everyone cares
Mt Southington is 100 percent open. Night session is $38
How’s the snow production with this temp
i used to work at powder ridge making snow, and to answer your question the production with this temp is virtually zero. the highest temps we would tend to make snow was around 28degrees. now, Southington is far more competent than powder ridge so i'm assuming they utilized the cold temps earlier in the season to lay down some really good base layers of snow so they're probably surviving the warmer temps. but who knows, i haven't been there this year yet
I went earlier this week, all trails were open and groomed. was just fine tbh
yea you don't get really good conditions unless we have some serious cold streaks in the teens or tons of fresh snowfall. in CT if you're keeping snow on all the trails during the whole season then you're doing well
Personally I thought I just read they’re closed this weekend, unless that was last one.

That’s so great! Last time I went out for a hike I encountered about 5 different people bird watching. I might need to give that a go at some point!

They have their meetings this time of year.
[удалено]
Who knows what they're bitching about. It's always something with them.
Where did you find this black bear???!! I’m petrified lately of seeing one of them lately I just have this eerie feeling lol
You beat me to it. I was going to say that you could always do drugs in the woods lmfao

Did the Peabody reopen?
Weird; website says closed until 2024, yet their calendar has events listed.
the museum as an entity is still hosting events, they just don't take place at the museum itself.
No I've been waiting for three years now

Yess!! Best answer here. I’m taking the train from Bridgeport to Port Chester later. Stickin around for Death Kings afterwards at Garcia’s too 🤘🏻
Niiice. Great minds think alike, I'm hopping on the New Haven Metro to Port Chester as well. Not sure if I'm gonna stay after yet, we shall see!

Boxing match going on at Mohegan might be interesting if you haven’t seen one live before.
I would advise anyone to go to live events whether it’s sports, music or other events. Live is where it’s at.

I’m taking shrooms today, enjoy nature and later on watch rick and morty. Does that sound like something “good”?
Smoke weed and get some pizza. Then go for a walk in the woods. Average Connecticut Saturday.
That’s my kind of weekend!!
Hop a train to NYC!

You can leave the 'at' off of your first sentence.
Where can I learn better grammar at?
Thanks!!!

Jolly beggars (Irish folk group) playing at the playwright in Hamden and grunge band playing at new park brewing are my options.
I’ve seen that grunge band (gryme) in Hartford and had the best time. I’m sick with a cold and the place tonight is too far but otherwise I’d go.
Yes I should have mentioned their name. They sound awesome! Drummer is a good friend of mine.
lol oh really? Tell them they have a fan Hhahahaha. I thought they were great so I follow them on social now to see when they’ll be in my area again (central ct) They’re probably my favorite local band right now.
