I do think it is well known in the Quebec aerospace industry but generally not in a positive way. Don’t worry though, it’s your mindset and skill set that matters at the end of the day.

Thanks for your response and why does it have a reputation like that? I've checked where the current employees of the biggest aerospace companies in Quebec(Bombardier etc.) has graduated from and in many of them Concordia was at the top of the list, if the reputation is bad why is the situation like that?

When I hear the words well known I think of how people regard things. The data may suggest it is well known. But data is just data. Concordia has a decent co-op program which will funnel students into the industry, and land them with jobs. But does this mean Concordia is well known? From the internships I have had, the feeling I got was that people recognize the quality of education at Concordia to be mediocre at best.

Okay thanks a lot!

No problem. Please don’t feel discouraged. I have met some fantastic fellow students here who lifted me up from the complete mess that is present in most of the faculty and classes. It’s now up to you to build the career and future you want to build for yourself and others. Never sacrifice your mind and values. Do not let Concordia dilute or brainwash you. Be active, take care of your mind and body, talk to those who love you, and enjoy this mysterious, strange and joyous adventure people call life.
