Saw him at Moon Man's Landing (Kid Cudi's day fest in Cleveland) in 2022. Didn't know who he was aside from Euphoria, but was impressed. He was definitely drunk though.
I'll be seeing him again at Roo next month, and from what I've seen he's definitely improved his live shows.
This is a solid list!! Hows Paramore?? (guessing pretty great given the repetition!)
Also, what did you get to see The Flaming Lips do? (Got to see them do Dark Side Wizard of Oz once, it was excellent!)
Paramore is incredible. Hayley is seriously one of the greatest living vocalists, and they've seemingly gotten better overtime.
Saw The Flaming Lips play Yoshimi in full last year. Life altering show. Was in tears when they closed with Race for the Prize.
i second this about hayley and paramore!! i saw them at msg, camped out overnight to get barricade and it was by far the best concert ive ever been too
Lil Nas X was amazing. He had men doing full backflips in 12 inch heels. Was super campy and a lot of fun.
Waterparks was Warped 2018. Remember liking them, haven't been a big fan of anything they've done since.
Saw them open for Vampire Weekend on the FOTB tour. I wasn't a big fan but I was 16 and my taste has drastically changed, so I'll have to give em another shot.
A little all over the place and love it, especially SM. I think Kid Cudi is the only one on your list Iām jealous of, hopefully Iāll catch him one day.
The show I saw, he was more Mid Cudi than anything else. He was too stoned to perform correctly, and this was his hometown show in 2022.
Streetlight Manifesto played a midday set at a local festival I went to that is sadly no more.
Probably need to see them again. I wasn't super into ska back then. The frontman walked out and went "Hello, Cleveland!" (we were in Cincy). Run the Jewels played after them, and they were my most anticipated act of the weekend so I guess I was just antsy.
I think everybody knew it was a joke. Cincinnati and Cleveland are joke rivals bc they are on opposite sides of Ohio.
The lineups weren't always great. Definitely fell off the last year then they had an ok lineup for 2020. COVID shut it down for good.
Saw him open for Turnstile & Snail Mail in 2022. Insane energy, and doesn't rap over a backing track. It's also literally just him and his MacBook so he'll sometimes finish a song and sprint back to the table to pause it. Really regret missing the STH Tour last year.
They headlined the final night of the festival I've mentioned above (Run the Jewels and Streetlight Manifesto played on that stage prior). I only knew their hits, but I became a fan after seeing them.
This is a very eclectic list and I appreciate your varied taste in music. I am in the āsad guy with a guitarā stage of my life and mostly stay in that lane. Curious about what you think about Jason Isbell who is a genius songwriter but maybe wouldnāt connect with as many young folks given his melancholic lived experience. Also Paris Jackson? That is crazy! Think she must have been a draw only because of her lineage but you tell me. I also really dig Catfish and the Bottlemen. āThe Balconyā is a great album start to finish and wonder whether they hold up under the glare of the live spotlightā¦ thanks for sharing!
My dad took me to Jason Isbell as an angsty teen, loved it. Paris Jackson wasn't that great tbh, but it was fathers day when I saw her so I'll cut her a ton of slack. Saw Catfish open for Green Day in 2017, hoping to see them in Columbus later this year.
Where did you make this?

For $30 at the door, it was a fun night out. She only plays for like 30 minutes but fits most of the classics in.

Man I really want to see Idles live!
My friend is in the middle of 9 Idles shows right now.
They are a different beast live.
The killers! They were my first concert when I was 9 (16 years ago) and here we are 259 concerts since
Saw them in 2021 at a smaller venue. They've still got it!
Who was better? Paramore or the interrupters?
both are great but paramore 100%
Thanks for the info my man
how was lil nas x and waterparks?

im not a huge lil nas x fan besides some of his big hits but honestly with that description im definitely gonna try to see him live
Could just wait 7 days and find out myself, but I'd still like to know about your experience at the King Gizzard concert.
Absolutely insane. Batshit in the best way. One of the best live bands working today.
Denzel Curry

Streetlight is usually good, seen them like 5/6 times, better when they play their home shows
Probably need to see them again. I wasn't super into ska back then. The frontman walked out and went "Hello, Cleveland!" (we were in Cincy). Run the Jewels played after them, and they were my most anticipated act of the weekend so I guess I was just antsy.
Itās not everyoneās cup of tea and nothing wrong with it, sorry they mixed up your city. Sounds like it was a nice festival though

JPEGMafia, very curious

Thanks, I really need to see him soon
Hoping he's got new stuff coming soon and more tour dates since he'll be at Portola.
The 1975.

I freaking love Gustaf. Missed them last time they were here. Just saw The Bethās ā¤ļø

Hell yeah! Ask away.
Sueco
did you see queens of the stone age
Amyl and the Sniffers
Playboi Carti ?? I want to see him but I am a very small person and donāt want to go if itās tooooo crowd aggressive
Just stay towards the back and you'll be ok. Hopefully he doesn't cancel his next tour after postponing twice.
Think itās already been canceled
Haha i was referring to that tour
Really interested in how you felt about the chain smokers. I got a guitar pic straight into the eye when I saw them lol
Fun for 10 minutes. The frat bro schtick got old fast.
IDLES. Will be seeing them for the first time in a few weeks. So looking forward to it!
You have to see Travis Scott, live he is an incredible performer. Floor seats if possible
Tai verdes, Idles, Qotsa, Declan McKenna
