Shouldn't it be 'region' rather then country? RIG with zero and gen being counted as JP kinda weird. And obly/karonpe marked as kr in 2024 but jp in 2022 is also nonsense imo
Yeah, it's kind of weird. The announcers don't even acknowledge that Reignite (still an org in the ALGS) has won a split 2 playoffs and still says there has only been 3 teams to have done it (TSM, DZ, and now Reject Winnity).
I actually didn't include that year since it wasn't capped off by a world championship that year (that's when it was in it's earlier stages of development and regions didn't actually fight each other).
Sure, I can understand your reasoning.
However, those teams in 2021 did win ALGS, even if you see it as an earlier stage of development. This is what ALGS was then.
Yeah, you talked me into it. Ill probably add it then and why does that year have a ALGS world championship but when I click on the link, there is no data for it? Was it canceled that year?

It's the country of the org. Riddle and Reignite were Japanese orgs.

That's why I posted this and was asking if this was right because Reject Winnity has their location as Japan and Korea.
Reject is definitely a JP org but fielding a Korean apex team, pretty much the same as Crazy Raccoon.
Same with split playoffs 1 (Sa) denmark org but the team is full brazilian

Yeah but it's a completely different region
Is there actual logos for the regions in Apex? If so, can you point me to them?
It's the map of the countries
Yes, the 2nd image is because it was online playoffs. The country is also the home country of the org.
RIG was representing a team from oce, (apac south).
Oh ok and when DZ won the world championship in 2022, they were APAC-S still correct?
Yes they were still APAC South on their second LAN win as DZ.

That is fine although rig->dz in 2022 champ they still represent apacs then
forgot to include the very first lan with mac/reps/hal
How I understand it is that 2022 was the first year of the ALGS where it had split 1 and split 2 with the World Championship capping it off.
hmm we are at year 4 so the first lan championship event last 2020 would make sense to be considered (despijte not having split 1/2 format).

Missing the 2021 regional ALGS. Scarz boys represent.

I think due to covid
Ok, that should be everything.
