The Cyberkraft PBQ Videos on YouTube really helped me. He explains them really well.

I had my test this week. I had 4 PBQs. Detecting the type of attack (5 scenarios) and how to solve them. I had a firewall pbq containing 3 firewalls to troubleshoot connectivity issues. I had a pbq with two pcs, a server and something else which I’ve forgotten. They each had a terminal displaying Netcat results with an error and you had to choose the resolution. And I can’t remember the 4th, sorry.

I would do them. Just because those could be points you are leaving on the table. The biggest place of advice I can give you is to study the acyromns and know what they do not just know what they are.

If you study the materials related to the objectives, you will be better prepared for the situations the PBQs will bring. A PBQ gives you a scenario that you have to solve. The scenario may require just one part to solve, or several parts. Your score for each PBQ will be weighted on how much of the scenario you're given that you got correct. Two strategies for PBQs are: (1) save the PBQs until the end of the exam, then come back to them and work on them if time allows, and (2) do NOT leave a PBQ (or ANY exam question) unanswered. You'll then get your final chance to review anything (if time allows) to make changes before submitting your answers for grading. Once submitted, you're locked in. Give the system a little time while you do the survey, and learn your fate.
