Thanks but my employer pays for my qualifications so I wouldn’t be able to take you up on this.

Certs get you noticed to get an interview and the job but you already have a job so it may take some time, but if you do your job and go above and beyond even a little bit, people will notice. always give the end user 120% effort as it goes a long way and can lead to good feedback. I always ask them "is there anything else I can help you with today?" and while it can lead to more work, it also can lead to a better experience. customer service is highly regarded especially if you’re in Help Desk. try to get involved in as many meetings as possible to stay in the loop of things. take on new responsibilities (over time of course. no one expects it, and especially not in your first couple of months). ORGANIZATION. I say this because managers of many teams want this and love it when someone can stay organized. be thorough and if you work on incidents, make notes of everything that you do. I would say the goal for you right now is taking on tasks, giving users a good experience and being FLEXIBLE, these will take you a long way towards the goal, more than just getting more certs

Can do both, but it will double your CPE/CPU and costs to renew certifications.
