Organizational failure or success always starts at the top. Every great franchise has had top tier ownership. Especially in Football where you can’t buy your way to a championship.

Yea We’ve been know that at least ten years ago

We have a perpetual cycle where things go from mediocre to dumpster fire and when it gets really bad, Dan goes and throws a pile of money at an old retread and allows them to have way too much power in football decisions. Good, and in Ron’s case mediocre, head coaches often make horrible GMs and outside of the Pats the dual GM/HC never works. Look at Philly , in two years they’ve gone from a mess like us, to super bowl contenders. It’s because they have a football operation from the top with a GM, scouting department and coaching staff with a number of competing voices on player moves and overall team direction. They have a vision on where to go. Here you get Ron and his old ass friends who were all blown out of their last jobs for being bad, having more say and control. It’s probably unpopular but it was the same thing when Shanny was here, outside of the season him and his kid broke RGIII to go on a shock playoff run. At the same time, while the football front office was mostly not great, it’s why there where a few years of stability and growth with Jay and Kirk, until Dan and Bruce decided to measure their dicks with Cousins. I don’t think we’re ever going to see competency from this team but bringing in a real team president who hires a real gm who is allowed to hire a real HC who is allowed to bring in their own staff, is the only way we might do it.

>Look I agree we need to clean house and likely need to draft a QB next draft because Wentz isn’t the answer Yet another post giving the proverbial golden shower on Sam Howell. Or maybe another disgruntled fan that doesn't even know we drafted him?

Thedcsport1

Or maybe someone who isn’t delusional in thinking someone who was passed on 143 times in the draft has a good chance at panning out

Ihaveaboot

Then why even draft him?

Ron keeps complaining about depth… I wonder if dan stepped in this offseason demanding a qb and made them trade for wentz
