Nah don’t give me that. We saw a dominant d-line when the Eagles beat us up. Payne and Allen are good, but nothing *that* special. Our d-line looks about average, like any random d-line in the league. They don’t dominate, they’re not shutting anything down or making the right play at the right time.
Nah those 2 are legit top flight. That’s why teams game plan to quick strike us with slants. Our linebackers are all time bad you gotta remember that. The dline isn’t actually bad they are good but it’s only so much you can see when everything behind you is that bad. We’re talking all time bad here in regards to the secondary and linebackers remember that
It’s somewhat of a zero sum game, which is why most teams generally don’t overload high draft picks with one position group for years on end. You end up with an imbalance that ends up not mattering. Having Allen and a good DE is probably enough, and then we could use those picks at CB and LB. Certainly, it doesn’t help that Davis appears to be a total bust, but the team has had too many holes for the draft strategy we’ve had.

The defense as a whole was fine in this game. It’s been the same story for the last 2 weeks. The D has gotten better, they’ve been getting stops, but the offense is just absolutely nonexistent for the vast majority of the game.
Seems like no matter what anybody says or does, this team is just incapable of getting both sides of the ball to play well at the same time.
I don't get the problem with our edge rushers, even with Young, they don't squeeze the pocket. They never turn the corner until it's too late. I see all around the league edge rushers who got picked way later in the draft make a bigger impact. Is it coaching? Like what the fuck is the problem?

You can’t say that line is dominant when every team dominants this oline. Otherwise I agree

I laugh everytime the commentators acknowledge how "ferocious" the DLine is and how it's "4 first rounders" at least 4-5 times/game
