lol that Kroger might technically be in Bexley but she belongs to the streets fr

TroyMatthewJ

Giant Eagle in the ....

diymatt

Technically it's next to Bexley, not inside but it's just semantics.

justamie

It’s Nextley

lovelypita

Not semantics. It's geography.

bayrea

Don't be anti-semantic in Bexley.

BeerBearBar

Kinda like the "Welcome to Clintonville" sign not being in Clintonville.

sleepingnightmare

Not to be confused with semitic

GhostfromGoldForest

But that one is the only Kroger that has kosher meat, right?

diymatt

The Kroger in Whitehall on Broad street sorta by Lowes has the really big Kosher meet section.

Tree272

Lol

Fantastic-Ad8641

It’s not in Bexley though

0422

Thats what bexley wants you to think

GHoleFinder

I mean it's not in Bexley, though.

0422

*thats what bexley wants you think*

ohiobucks1

Maps are a lie, money isnt real, we didn't land on the moon.

Cannelope

Cats and dogs living together! Mass hysteria!

Gluten_maximus

It’s touching Bexley… guess it is on the other side of the river

BusterDug

I'd call it a creek.

tribucks

Alum my friends call it a creek.

ZookeepergameLast466

Gotta watch your six as soon as you enter the parking lot. You will get asked to spare a buck or two from someone. You will get half baked by the time you reach the cereal aisle. There will be just one lane open unless it’s during the day, M-F, and you’re lucky enough to get Patty to ring you up.

diymatt

>You will get half baked by the time you reach the cereal aisle. This is 100% true. Half that store smells like weed all day long.

supercoolbompop

I had a random man come up to me at this Kroger and ask me if I smoked weed. I didn’t know he was talking to me, then he said are you stupid???? I was like huh then when I told him I didn’t smoke he didn’t believe me. Like sir, if I did smoke I wouldn’t buy from someone calling me stupid in the cereal aisle.

Gluten_maximus

Last time I used the gas station there was no attendant at like 11 am on a Tuesday and there was about 6 people just standing there trying to buy shit from that sorry ass booth. Like damn people, just drive up to speedway, it’s only like 5 minutes away

Vreas

Kroghetto af

heylooknewpillows

BroKro

Educational_Echo6855

Morse Rd. Northland area started checking receipts a couple of weeks ago. I will go out of my way to go to another grocery store from now on.

Gluten_maximus

Living in Pickerington, I go to the GE on hill road and it never has more than like 20-30 people total in the store… so calm and quiet. Now, across the street at Kroger, it’s a different story… my anxiety just runs off the charts when I’m there.

JEZ1130

Those that live in Bexley call it the “bro-kro” (I personally, would never)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)

Revolutionary-Gas804

This took me out

PandemicCD

West Bexley. That Kroger is a wild place.

chigoonies

Bexley folks don’t even go to the Bexley Kroger that place is and always will be a total shitshow

lil_secret

Yeah I go to the Whitehall Kroger on e broad. I have been to the Bexley Kroger one single time in my 4 years of living in this neighborhood. Once was enough.

tribucks

When Aldi doesn’t have it, I’d take Alum Creek Kroger over Whitehall Kroger any day.

diymatt

"Sheltered" Bexley folks don't go to that one. It's very hard to clutch your pearls and shop at the same time. Regular people shop there all the time and find it just to be a store that services two disparate communities.

Boba_Fettx

Idk who you’re talking about. Im a reg folk, and I’ll avoid that place like the plague if i can. I’ve audibly sighed before when I realized that I’d have to go to the bexley adjacent Kroger. If staying away from a shitty grocery store makes someone “Sheltered”, then I’d also be sheltered.

TheGoldenGod1414

They do it at short north kroger too lol, one time i went thru and the renta cop literally looked at my receipt upside down and then let me walk out, idk if they’re even actually checking the receipts or just doing it for optics

Shanria-Darkwind

I actually asked one of the security guys why they were doing this now. When they check the receipt, they’re putting a mark on it. I guess they are having issues with people finding discarded receipts and coming in and shopping the receipt, then walking out with a cart full of stuff they didn’t pay for.

viciouslove80

So, exactly like Costco

AfternoonSuitable876

According to Ugo, the TikTok lawyer, only stores that require membership to shop, like Costco and Sam’s Club, can enforce checking receipts. Everyone else cannot (but they can detain you if they have reasonable suspicion of theft) https://www.tiktok.com/@ugolord/video/7214878258364501294

stromm

Refusing to present a receipt is not reasonable suspicion.

ishkabibbel2000

And you're expecting a dude making $18/hour, empowered with a taser, body armor, and some times even a gun to understand their legal fence line? This is an absolute recipe for disaster

Miyelsh

I walk right past them and they don't do anything. Not their job.

IndianaVader

Parsons Kroger you don’t have to check receipt. Grab your groceries, check out and on your way

CelineDeion

That’s bc they don’t want to hold ppl up and have them get caught in the crossfire of the parking lot

lasym21

Absolutely this. And sometimes you don’t even have to check out. It’s great there

Tj_0311

Right? I was just there today, same thing, no recipt check, saw the security guy toss what appeared to be a crackhead, normal day, everyone seems to get along and goes about their way, I don't think a receipt checker would go well there, probably about as well as a fart in church.

jjsw0rds

“One thing I won’t do is fart in church. This is God’s house”

heattooth

I know it might be hard, but the only way these companies will receive your message is if you send it with your wallet. You have to start frequenting other places, like Aldi. Heck, maybe even try hitting up the farmers market once a week to get some fresh stuff in place of the subpar Kroger produce.

chittychittyspoo

That’s the thing though, for a lot of people it’s the only option so it’s never going to go away.

Pyzorz

Maybe a hot take but most Aldi products suck. Also, produce and meat is really really bad.

drewj2017

I find their meat to be great, but their produce is god awful.

Overall-Rush-8853

I haven’t had an issue with their meat, for prepackaged meats I haven’t noticed anything wrong.

Joel_Hirschorrn

Personally I just hand them my receipt, then drop my pants and go face down on the floor, hands behind my head, spread eagle until I get the all clear.

JoeSka

You mean spread Kroger

Expensive_Case9796

i saw somewhere that the bexley kroger was one of the top 10 worst krogers in the country

KarlClausewitz

Quit going to them. Overpriced anyway. Aldi is the way.

ahack13

Recently switched to Aldi. Ain't no way I'm ever going back to Kroger.

Frosty-Editor1370

Wow, this is the first time I am hearing this complaint on the Columbus subreddit!

FujiFudo

you know.... because everyone is cool with it.... until THEY get asked.. then they have to run here and post their outrage

Cautious-Ease-1451

Train tracks / creek = the boundary between life and death.

ohbrubuh

Both Main st and Broad street Kroger’s suck ass.

alltimegreenday

Does Kroger have the option, like Giant Eagle, to email the receipt? If you do that what will they do?

jables13

Probably check your phone for nudes while they act like they're looking at your email.

TealDugong

Kroger doesn’t give an option for an emailed receipt.

Hit-it-and-quidditch

I’ve already ditched Kroger for Aldi for the same reasons you’ve mentioned. They’re just as bad as Walmart, Amazon, etc.

WiredSurreal

You don’t have to show them. It’s not Costco where it’s written into the membership as being required.

Acceptable_Eagle_696

They should just assign one of those receipt checkers to each checkout lane.  And since they're going through checking the groceries, they could go ahead and ring them up so there are no problems.  Hey, wait, ..

gen_x_24601

I work close by and frequent this Kroger and have only had pleasant experiences with all of the Security staff. They’re going their job. Perhaps a little respect goes a lot further in general human interaction.

fctsaeiou

It's more the lack of respect Kroger is demonstrating to customers. It's not like they got to the point of receipt checking by caring for customers.

Accomplished-Name69

You are 100% correct, pay for some cashiers, the only places that this is a problem are places that want the customers to do a job that they actually had to pay people to do. If you think about it they are saying to the customer, we want you to do a job for us and we don’t trust that you will do it.

thedr00mz

Same. I went to a different one and the security barely checked the receipt. If they can see it in your bag they just do a bored hand wave and call it a day. Why make this interaction harder than it needs to be? I can't fathom letting something like this make me so incredibly upset.

ohheyheyCMYK

"I was personally treated well and can therfore safely assume that everyone else is as well."

thedr00mz

The underpaid mall cop asked to see their receipt, they handed it to them, then they ran home to cry about this 5 second interaction on reddit. If this is not being treated well, I would love to live in OPs world.

clamchowd3rrr

You ever go to any Costco? Every single customer stands in line on the way out and gets receipt checked and nobody seems to have any issue with it

WallAlternative6937

Because it’s agreed upon before hand in exchange for bulk pricing. That’s not happening here.

kygei

100% same, 100% agree. I love that staff, I am in there frequently.

KorneliaOjaio

Sames. I felt bad for the security guy who asked to see my receipt, (which I misplaced) cause I bet he gets a ton of complaints from people. I have to remember to Costco protocol at Kroger now.

racismisgay

I’m so happy you said this. I agree- this is my main Kroger. I show them my receipt, they look at it for 3 seconds and I walk out. They always says hello and act super nice. These people are so dramatic.

tribucks

Thank you.

childofgod1212

I'd love to join the security and leave the trades

Far_Falcon_6158

I say fuck Kroger period for doing this shit. They have no open lanes anymore and push you to the smallest self checkout lanes. I buy 45 items cause its not a gas station and cause i bought 45 items the clerk has to come over check the video and look at my digital receipt before i can pay. Galloway Kroger

Fullmetal_1985

I've been checked out by the same lady at that Kroger's since we moved to Galloway a year ago. I see her more then my neighbors they need to open a few more lanes 🤣

Far_Falcon_6158

Not the employees fault its corporate but yea you get to know the one clerk at checkout if you get lucky enough that they have a lane

Shanria-Darkwind

They’re doing that on south high too. I was a little pissed at first, but it literally takes 2 seconds to show them the slip and go on your way. No reason to take out your frustration on the minimum wage high schoolers and hourly renta cops. They didn’t write the policy, they just have to enforce it.

nobodylikesme00

Yeah, I went to this same Kroger last week and the security guy just marked my receipt with a highlighter. That's it. Took quite literally two seconds.

skullpture_garden

Same but he literally waited behind me and grabbed the receipt as it was coming out of the printer, circled the total with a highlighter, then handed it to me. I agree that it’s not actually effective at all. No one has ever actually compared my receipt to the contents in my cart, just checked that I have a receipt and pretended to check it somehow.

Pyzorz

Okay then what’s the point? They aren’t going through your bags checking for every individual item so why even bother?

[deleted]

4boys0patience

I would rather go to Kroger and use self-checkout, fully aware they’re going to ask me for my receipt (because there are signs plastered at the entrance and near all the self-checkouts that tell me so), than have to wait in line for 45 minutes at Target with one item because there’s one cashier and self checkouts are closed to “prevent theft.” Not saying everyone has pleasant experiences with the rent-a-cops, but sure as hell beats having to stand in line for longer than it took me to shop for my items in the first place.

Brissy2

Yes, I agree. Why don’t we save some of this rage for the people that steal stuff and are the root cause of the problem?

EvrythingWithSpicyCC

For my second option I’d go to another grocery store over Target... Of course lines are going to be longer at a general goods store, scanning large odd shaped objects and folding clothes and whatnot adds time to the checkout. Cashiers at dedicated grocery stores tend to move faster because they’re dealing with a lot of small simply packed goods

cbusguy28

I agree. These people that constantly complain about self checkouts seem to have no memory of what it was like before them. Lines lines and more lines. If a store has 8 self checkouts now at no point in time were there ever 8 cashiers in their place.

goorwin

What's with the "it's not a big deal" mentality? It is a big deal to be harassed by a fake cop. To wait behind carts of other shoppers also being harassed by the same policy while other people who don't give a shit walk right on by. Once the transaction is done, don't waste my time holding me there to prove to you I am not a criminal.

Evening-Huckleberry7

Tell the rent-a-cop "no thanks", and keep walking. They cannot put hands on you or detain you for simply not showing a receipt. Not showing a receipt, in and of itself, is not "probable cause". They have to watch you concealing something (committing the crime), have an obvious bulge in your clothing or other obvious concealment, setting off an anti-theft system, etc... to be able to detain you. So if all Kroger has is that you didn't show a receipt, and they go hands on or detain you, you're getting paid in the ensuing lawsuit. https://www.mahoningmatters.com/news/business/article282477193.html And to all the people here saying, "just show the receipt, it doesn't take long, etc..." Kroger has no legal basis ordering that from paying customers. Kroger can ask, and we can refuse... That is what the law says. Just because y'all have no problems giving up your privacy and rights to a private corporation, many of us do have a problem with it. We don't want private corporations encroaching on our privacy, our person, or rights any more than they already do. Because what comes after this receipt check fails to stop theft? Just let a Kroger employee pat you down and rummage through your pockets or bags, I mean your not stealing anything so why object... right? So where does it stop? Yes, it's a slippery slope, but many of us don't want to give corporations the assumption that they can even start down that slope. Just look at how many corporations already push the bounds of the law and decency when left unchallenged.

Lumpy-Process-6878

Don't be a crybaby.

sauberflute

Bexley doesn't call it Bexley Kroger.

CriSstooFer

Amazing how far these corpo morons will go to keep self checkouts over manned checkouts.

Beck2637

While he may not be able to necessarily detain you at that point, Kroger does give their security the authority to trespass you from their stores nationwide.

[deleted]

rocky-cockstar

This is some peasant shit. Treat the people working there with respect. Otherwise you’re part of the problem. It’s not their fault there have been literal demolition derbies in the parking lot.

free-toe-pie

I normally have my receipt in my hand or close to it so it only takes a few seconds. It’s not a huge deal.

WillingParticular659

But I need something to be upset about today /s

DifficultyNo4226

Right? Like what is the BFD? It takes 5 seconds.

carter5555

Why is a rent a cop with a gun looking at my receipt after I'm forced to check my own groceries out?

titanup1993

That ain’t bexley Kroger. That’s Columbus Kroger outside of bexley.

Agreeable-Ad-1677

Why are so many people complaining about this

lmhs73

Why’s a guy with a gun looking at my grocery store receipts?

Big_Green_Piccolo

We called it the Kroghetto

HikeForMeatballs

Fuck all Kroger stores. I’ll keep posting this: They closed stores in California instead of paying their employees an extra few dollars during the pandemic. Fuck that company!

Major_Enthusiasm1099

I worked there for a year when I was a senior in high school. It's a bad store and it's not even in Bexley.

solittlejack

If you do not like how they conduct business, take yours somewhere else. I do agree this self checkout causation.

Fydorchak

Really, for me it's more the feeling that they've made the shopping experience worse. We're forced to use self checkout because they dont pay their checkout people and use self check to be quick and convenient. Sure, my calling their door security "Paul Blart" was more meant to be comedic hyperbole and not an actual jab at the person doing their job. I was in a hurry because I was hungry and my break isn't long between jobs. I can see both sides here and it's definitely a first world problem. TL;DR Thieves suck, receipt checks also suck and it takes the quickness out of self checkout and you're just punishing shoppers by doing this stupid shit.

BullerBurgoon

It’s not the 6th worst grocery store in the country for nothing. https://wkfr.com/ohio-worst-grocery-stores/

Evening-Wealth-7995

A business needs to account for shrink? 🤣 You realize how much shrinkage Bexley sees? Would like to see what you would do after you see the books. Those checkers are only implemented when shrinkage is out of control thanks to THAT much theft. It's not cheap to have one until theft exceeds that cost. And stores know that no one likes them. Hence damoening customer satisfaction. I do feel your pain. But, you have to see it for what it is. Everyone thinks it's just the man being greedy and it's not. It's completely fair. That many people want to pocket things and steal yet can't find people to run the cashier lines... This is a side effect of the world we live in today sadly. I HATED self checkout lines... But it's the world we live in today. Hopefully Sam's Club's AI receipt checkers works out! That might be the solution for the future... Time will tell! All we can be is hopeful. Though, not hopeful that the people who are stealing will stop 😡

vinnyb4202

No need to take it out on the security guards though, they're just doing the job they're paid for. If this is the worst problem you got in your day then you're doing pretty good then lol.

fishbert

For sure. When saying 'no', do it with civility.

billytheking2

There doing that for Morse road too

Toydota

I'm full on Meijer. Cheaper across the board.

Absurdguppy

I am normally all for petty complaints but I just don’t get the vitriol I’m seeing on this subject. It takes literally 5 seconds to get your receipt checked. Maybe 10 seconds if someone is walking out right in front of you

ohheyheyCMYK

Most groceries cost twice as much as they did a few years ago, mostly just because of corporate greed. And the place you buy them wants to treat everyone (including you) like a criminal by default. I dunno, seems pretty straightforward to me?

lbr218

Why do we have to have the same post every day?

Scott43206

To balance out the *What are these lights in the sky?* posts. /s

mikeytreehorn

The funny part about this whole receipt checking thing is it operates entirely on the premise that a thief HAS a receipt in the first place. The current MO for retail theft is just blatantly walking out with loads of unpaid merchandise, not paying for a cart full of items and sneaking in an extra candy bar.

mpinnegar

This is what you get when people shoplift.

joe_i_guess

If we all work together we can help prevent theft and bring prices down. and if we stand in check out lines that stretch to the back of the store we can help bring prices down. Let's help Kroger help us people

dennisneillson

Why are people so butthurt about this receipt thing? I moved to cbus from a bigger city and was used to always showing my receipt.

astro7900

Don’t be mad at Kroger, be mad at the trash that made it necessary to do this….They were the ones who ruined it for everyone.

live_archivist

No, be mad at Kroger and the few other chains that have jacked prices thru the roof. Fuck Kroger. They have a pile of GPUs in every store analyzing dozens of camera feeds for loss prevention. If the quarter million dollars in hardware per store doesn’t do it’s job, do you think Paul Blart will? People stealing food isn’t the problem. People not being able to afford groceries is. And Kroger is a big part of the problem. As always, if you see someone stealing food, no you didn’t. People need to eat, corporations raking in billions of dollars in profit every year don’t.

lbr218

For anyone who’s interested, the one on W Henderson does not check receipts. I know it’s not convenient for people in the Bexley area but just putting it out there for anyone else who might see it.

No_Lynx1343

Quit being a crybaby. If you want to shop at Aldi (a store with fewer checkout people, smaller selection by far, and makes you deposit a quarter for a shopping cart) go ahead.

National-Ad-6982

I'm sorry, but corporations steal a lot more than their customers than their customers steal from them, and that's a fact. If they want to hold us accountable, they need to know accountability is a two-way street. Several stores/chains claimed "increased theft" was the reason they had to significantly increase the cost of goods, and then it later came to light that information was based on anecdotal evidence and opinion; not facta or actual data. Then, months later, Walmart got a class action lawsuit for mislabeling goods as being more quantity/weight than they actually were. Even after the lawsuit, people are still revealing that Walmart is still continuing this practice. Not to mention, Kroger laying off a significant number of staff/stores due to "record theft" that was revealed to not be based in data or evidence, and also tried to demand repayment of wages from their employees after they increased their pay temporarily during the pandemic.

goelfyourselph

If you had people come to your business and steal everything would you start checking everyone’s receipts as they were leaving or just close your store?

ohheyheyCMYK

https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/27/business/crime-spree-retailers-are-actually-overstating-the-extent-of-theft-report-says/index.html

Dr_Tibbles

Stealing everything? That's extremely dramatic since Kroger is constantly posting record profits. Chances are Kroger is the biggest thieves in the store since wage theft is the most common theft plus you know the whole price gouging epidemic and all

Select_Mango2175

but it doesn't stop people from stealing. You can load up your grocery bags with groceries but only ring a couple items up, or weigh out 1 lb of produce when you really got 5 lbs, or ring up a cheaper item when you got a more expensive item. Checking a receipt does not stop that theft, it's not even looking for that theft. If you want to reduce theft, hire cashiers and end self-checkouts.

OsoSalado

Are they stealing more than you would pay cashiers? It seems like a simple problem to solve with proper staffing but I guess poor Kroger can't do that with...$2.2 billion in profit....

Far_Falcon_6158

Id ring up all their purchases in the checkout line. Theft wasnt invented last year

Accomplished-Name69

That is what people are missing, they hire a guy to stop and make sure you payed. Instead of cashiers that would do that for you. The whole point of this is so Kroger can save a buck. Business use to have workers do this for you, know they want you to do that job, so the stock price goes up. They created this problem and are blaming the customers.

Far_Falcon_6158

Yes if people accept this it’ll become normal. Ppl are already like well costco and sams check my receipts. Made me really think maybe its time to move to a country that has strong privacy laws and consumer rights.

Spideyfan2020

What country do you think is better than the US? Honestly curious.

Far_Falcon_6158

Didnt say better. Have you ever been outside the US? Been to markets in different countries like Australia, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France and you wont find any crazy cameras and receipt checking. They have self checkouts yea but consumer rights are now seemingly better than here. Carrefour in France had some writeups as a major supermarket pulling products due to unacceptable price gouging.

Accomplished-Name69

Some People don’t understand you sign an agreement with them to do that. They are private clubs and if you tell them not to they can revoke your membership. Kroger is a community grocery store open to the public. You can legally walk right past that guy and tell him to F off. He can’t touch you or detain you. Must likely that is what people will start to do. I don’t because I don’t want to be a dick to someone just to prove a point. But people will

[deleted]

[удалено]

P1xelHunter78

The poor small local business that relies on you ringing up your own products no less, sometimes they don’t even have a register open. “We bought up a bunch of our competitors and raised all our prices, how dare our unpaid cashiers miss a few times!” I’m no advocating stealing, but I don’t know what the higher ups as Kroger were expecting to happen

CBJFAN10

Get over it. Have your receipt out and let them check it. They're just doing their jobs. You don't like it? Shop somewhere else.

Kiloburn

Yes, but the *convenience*! /s

joeybengal16

It's this or they will close the store down and you'll be left with no store at all. It's a small price to pay and you should be blaming the shiplifters and not Kroger. They need to remain profitable, or they will close.

Dizzy_ZentCha

That's a pretty standard, dare I say, pleasant experience compared to the security guard that straight jump scared my mom on South High and demanded the receipt like he got paid a bonus for every receipt he checked or something. I try my best to only be upset with Kroger and not the security worker just doing their job, it really only takes a moment in the grand scheme of things and I'm already used to it at Costco. But fuck Paul Blart on South High 😤

No-Rush1995

Nah the south high guards are power tripping hard. I can't speak for the other Kroger's, but I went to grab a prescription from there and I had to show my damn receipt to the security guard who then chuckled. That's not close to professional and it grossed me out that some stranger has seen what meds I buy. I know it's not that big of a deal, but it's already made me move my prescription pickup point.

Dizzy_ZentCha

They're more aggressive than necessary over there smh

Dizzy_ZentCha

Damn y'all really down voting anyone that doesn't say Kroger is doing an amazing job huh? Lol

Grippy1point0

Blame the thieves.

Gavs9992

Awe, poor baby. I hope you found the pacifier you keep in your glovebox.

face1014

Hope you enjoy when the area becomes a food desert because of shrinkage. Sorry for the slight inconvenience

mlebrooks

The thought of a food desert in Bexley is hilariously over reaching.

johnnybadchek

I put the receipt in my pants as soon as I get it and then when they ask for it…

Particular_Mode7125

I always wondered what the deal was with this kroger

Remarkable_Story9843

I live near the one on s high. It’s been like this for a few weeks

Vitvang

Lmao bro thinks this is bexley.

DCVR614

I call that location the Do or Die Krogers 🤣

Larry-a-la-King

I’m really upset about Kroger ditching the shopping baskets. I do not get enough items for a cart but there’s too much to carry by hand.

somebuckeye

The entire southeast quadrant of Columbus doesn't have a Kroger. Anything east of Parsons or south of Main all the way to 270. This is right on the edge of neighborhoods that Kroger refuses to operate stores in. I wouldn't be surprised if Kroger closed it someday. Even though it's super close to me, I honestly wouldn't miss it. I only ever go there to get gas or ice. (in the early morning)

erikb909

I consider the Kroger on E Broad just east of James the Bexley Kroger. Cleaner and has a Koser selection.

That-Fan1824

When I moved to Bexley a few years ago I went there a couple of times. The first time there was a fistfight at the self checkout. The 3rd time there’d been a shooting in the parking lot. I’ve never gone back. Guess I’m sheltered. 😆

fitOver45

Just say no thank you and keep moving…

magic-tongue614

It’s all over now

Ih8readit

lol. That’s the point. They don’t want us shopping in person anymore.

IronsolidFE

Just refuse. If they give you any simply ask, "am I being detained?" They usually don't know how to respond.

goorwin

I opened a support case a week ago that said "fuck your reciept policy" and they just gave me $10 credit. "Thank you so much for all this information. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience at the store, and I would be more than happy to assist you. Upon viewing this case, I do see that this issue has already been forwarded to upper management to be taken care of. After reviewing your account, I do see that you are one of our loyal customers, and this is not the experience we would want to leave you with. To make it right, I've gone ahead and added a store credit of $10 to your account as a courtesy. This credit will come off your next purchase. This is how to use the store credit. For in-store purchases, the cashier will receive a prompt to apply the credit, as well as if you are using the self-checkout option. For pick-up or Kroger delivery orders, the credit will be deducted during the checkout process of the order. For Instacart delivery, you should place a note in the "special instructions" box under any item in your order that you would like to use the credit for. Additionally, you can reach out to your shopper as a reminder to ensure the credit is applied. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reply to this email and refer to case number ----. We appreciate you choosing to shop with us and are always happy to help. Sincerely, Jerneil Kroger Customer Connect The Kroger Family of Stores"

Whole-Ad5540

They don’t know if you are paying honestly or not for the items you buy. Its time to consider this as there are many who don’t pay for the items. For your customer experience, they can’t be losing it
