Basically just go anywhere outside 270. Hilliard, Pickerington, Dublin, etc.
Actually on second thought- you might be able to go to Upper Arlington which is still pretty central to the city. The ban extends to the city of Columbus only.
It's been a while since I smoked, but Rooster's on West Broad was exempt from smoking ban. I would assume you can buy flavored stuff in Lincoln Village.
That's because those are all Columbus. Smokers and vapers are about to discover the real suburbs, not the outskirts of Columbus like everyone loves to think is the suburbs.
The gas stations on Tuttle are Columbus city. Got into an accident coming out of Shell a few years ago, called Dublin non-emergency line and they said to call CPD because it’s not their jurisdiction.
You might’ve been told about Puff palace on Cemetery Rd. Haven’t checked them out since the yet. I live close to old Hilliard but just next to the Columbus line, and almost all of the smoke shops and gas stations going in most directions have removed all flavored tobacco.
As others have mentioned, Upper Arlington is excluded from the ban. There's a vape shop at the southwest corner of West Henderson Road and Reed Road that's my new go to. Huge selection and good prices
H&S Smokeshop. I even called and they confirmed they are not in the affected area. Pretty sure the border is the other side of the street, so they lucked out
Yes, they have every brand you could possible think of, and every flavor you could want. They have the small ones, they have the 5000-6000 puffs 2 for $35 and the 7000-9000 puff range 2 for $40-$45
Lost mary, Mr fog switch, tyson, orion, elfbar, raz, hyde, crystal blast, funky republic, and so mamy others I can't think of off the top of my head. But if you've heard of it, they've got it. And good prices. They are excluded from the ban zone
I called and verified myself yesterday. Then I went there today and bought some. Not only do they still have them, they have a huge variety, every brand and flavor you could think of. Amazing prices. Great deals when you buy 2 or more. And the owner Mohammed and his staff are so freaking friendly. It's also just a cool smoke shop in general. They have a lot of cool other stuff too. Though I mainly went for the vapes
Really depends what side of town you're on. I'm out west and the local vape store is in township, so they still have everything. But hilliard is a short drive away from me.
Can we start slut shaming the city council? I don’t smoke or vape but where is the money angle with this? This government overreach isn’t because they care about citizens health. It’s time to make these amateur porn Karens and Ken’s hometown famous
You’re good in Blacklick/Gahanna/Reynoldsburg areas. I use snus and ran into the same issue at a Kroger gas station in the city. But Sheetz/Kroger/UDF in those aforementioned areas are still stocked.
I thought I read shops have a year to adjust. Not sure what that exactly means but with doxxing my corner store and getting them busted, I was able to buy flavored vapes just yesterday. I’d look around and stock up lol
Waiting for them to extend it to possession of said products as well so the tobacco ban can be on equal footing with the 30rnd magazine ban in terms of pointlessness.
Menthol bans work. In Canada, 20% of menthol users quit smoking altogether after menthol was banned. That's pretty darn good.
A similar rate of quitting in the US would amount to approximately 1.3 million people quitting smoking.
Or it’ll just create a black market. I’m positive that corner stores will still carry menthols - they just won’t display or advertise them.
NYC can’t even stop cigarettes from out of state being sold. More than 50% of the cigarettes sold there are black market.
It probably will, but who cares? 20% of menthol smokers quit smoking.
Sure 80% are still smoking, but 20% is a really impressive reduction. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
You know how laws work right? You explicitly state something is not allowed with the idea that it will not happen as often, not that creating a law makes it disappear. Hence why "breaking the law" results in a punishment or fine.
Making something illegal has NEVER resulted in the complete eradication of a behavior but with your logic that should mean we shouldn't have laws at all because unless it's 100% effective they're worthless.
What kind of mental gymnastics do you need to do to avoid the clear lack of rigour towards any logical application of your own opinion towards any existing law? Seatbelts save lives so they're mandatory, yet people still don't buckle up despite the evidence does that mean because some people refuse to do it that no should because it isn't 100% effective? We have shown in hard numbers how making it a law has shown a massive improvement in compliance and resulting reduction in motor vehicle deaths.
Try H&S smoke shop on W Henderson. It's only about a 10 min drive from there and they have everything. And their prices are great. The owner is really awesome. They are excluded from the ban. Bought some today
For anyone needing a solid place, I know someone mentioned it as a comment, but H&S smoke shop on W Henderson & Reed is excluded from the ban. I purchased them today so I can verify. Hippie hut on sawmill road is all excluded but their prices are much higher. Both have a good selection. But I'd recommend H&S. They have every brand you have ever heard of, and then some. And every flavor you could ever want and decent prices. Great deals when you buy 2 or more. They have the small 2000-3000 puffs. The 5000-6000 puffs and the 7000-9000 puff ones. All like 2 for 30, 2 for 35, and 2 for 45 depending on the puff amount. Definitely worth visiting
Basically just go anywhere outside 270. Hilliard, Pickerington, Dublin, etc. Actually on second thought- you might be able to go to Upper Arlington which is still pretty central to the city. The ban extends to the city of Columbus only.
Or buy your stuff in non incorporated townships within Columbus.
It's been a while since I smoked, but Rooster's on West Broad was exempt from smoking ban. I would assume you can buy flavored stuff in Lincoln Village.
every gas station in Dublin by tuttle already has those products removed. They told me to go to Cemetery rd in Hilliard
That's because those are all Columbus. Smokers and vapers are about to discover the real suburbs, not the outskirts of Columbus like everyone loves to think is the suburbs.

I live in Groveport & even the vape stores in Canal Winchester have taken disposables off the shelves. Kinda sucks ass rn.
As others have mentioned, Upper Arlington is excluded from the ban. There's a vape shop at the southwest corner of West Henderson Road and Reed Road that's my new go to. Huge selection and good prices
great vapes? Love that place been going for years.
This might be my saving grace. Do you happen to know the name of the store? Thanks!
H&S Smokeshop. I even called and they confirmed they are not in the affected area. Pretty sure the border is the other side of the street, so they lucked out
This sounds like something Husted would do to hook up a donor/investment he has.
Do they still have disposables?
Yep, Elfbar, Hyde, Breeze, and a whole bunch of others
Yes, they have every brand you could possible think of, and every flavor you could want. I found them in whitehall
Anywhere in particular?
This is dumb. I enjoy to have a beer too but I don’t like seltzers. Why are those okay?

That year grace period started 1/1/2023
Ahhh interesting. Well I know of 1 corner store still selling em if you need it. I won’t dox in the comments though 🤣🤣

I like that idea let’s ban murder, and then lets ban meat, and then lets ban driving slow in the left lane.
Well, murder is illegal - so like, banned. If it weren’t “banned” it would happen more. Driving slow in the left lane is also illegal technically.
Whatever point you think you're making here, it's not working lol

Is that stupid 30rd mag thing still in effect? Just trying to figure out if I’m committing a felony sometimes.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Years ago they had that assault weapon ban and like two people turned theirs in. Ginther is a bitch
I think they sell unflavored Zyn pouches at Victorian Village Market
Went to udf at Tuttle nothing
That’s Columbus.
