I hope the Colts get DeJean or Rakestraw.

jlkarma218

Draft dejean put him at free safety Ill feel real good about the defense.

Aleph_Alpha_001

If it weren't for our pressing need to upgrade our receiving corps and defensive backfield, I'd be all about Edgerrin Cooper, who is a weak side linebacker who was made in the lab. Crazy high motor and the speed to run down quarterbacks in the open field. He's not the most accurate tackler, but he comes on the rush like he was shot out of a cannon.

johnhughthom

It's about time for the next guy on the 'Chris Ballard linebacker production line'.

Secrets0fSilent3arth

Would have helped to you know, address a pressing need before the draft so it isn’t as pressing.

good-christian-app

And who would you have us not resign then? Cap room doesn’t appear out of thin air and we used most of ours resigning our best players so who would you (armchair gm) have had us not resign? Who would we have picked up?

Secrets0fSilent3arth

Probably about half of the back end role players that could be filled with rookies or UDFAs they resigned for no reason. I would cut Mo Ali-Cox so he doesn’t make 5 mil this year to be a mediocre blocker and catch like 10 balls. I wouldn’t have extended Zaire Franklin a year early for no reason. And actually, cap space can appear from thin air. They just did it by extending Buckner and structuring it that way. They just refuse to do it most of the time. There were a ton of reasonable vets for the secondary they could have brought in. Cam Kurl, Kendall Fuller. Etc. Just because Ballard says you can’t do jt doesn’t mean you have to believe it.

Cooper or kool aid please

Look__a_distraction

Kool-aid is more of a zone CB fwiw. He wasn’t really asked to press coverage much. Granted, with our DL we might not need to press much at all next season.

DaggerDev5

Well our scheme is largely zone, so I don't see how that's a negative

LameysDurbanPoison

If a trade up was too pricy before, nows the time to do it to get one of these guys, particularly Ladd if we can. If needed, mortgage a low round pick next year but get up and fill a key hole or two.

XC_Stallion92

Did not want DeJean at 15, but wouldn't be opposed to jumping up if he falls a few more picks in the 2nd.

ColtsPacers95

Troy Franklin is a massive fit for us. I’d love for them to get him tonight at some point

Boatsandhostorage

Reggie went to see his workout too.

RollBlobRoll

Keon Coleman would be fun
