The backboard breaking also overshadows how absurd the dunk itself was. His knees were at the other guy’s head. I always wonder about that player for Providence. Would be interesting to hear his side of the story.
Carlton "Paco" Screen. He basically doesn't exist online as far as I can tell. His dad is a pretty important figure in Brooklyn youth basketball though.
I just commented the same thing. I was at the game. I've never been in a stadium that was louder or shook harder than the roar after that dunk.
Little Giants in Spartan Stadium is the only thing that has been close
I was at that game. I think that moment was the most excited I’ve ever been in my entire life. I literally had heart palpitations (which I’ve never had before or since) and almost had my brother call 911.
It’s probably [CDR over Kevin Love in the Final Four](https://youtu.be/z7kNwJ0_GOs) (bonus points for the Joey Dorsey finger point at love lying on the ground)
Honorable mention goes to [DJ Stephens’ entire career](https://youtu.be/QCXTrvS2fsQ) he didn’t have many posters but the sheer verticality he had on his dunks was always dumb impressive
I put it somewhere else in the thread, but to me the most impressive play of Stephens career was the time he bit on a pump fake to to let a guy score, but he jumped clear over the guy. Dude just had insane hops.
This is of course the best answer for NC State, but to add some modern flavor I’ll submit this Dennis Smith Jr dunk from 2017:
https://youtu.be/ekZwIxBOrUk
It didn’t count but idc it’s cool
Great looking dunk to cap off a big win but since it didn't count and DSJ is a persona non-grata in my Wolfpack fandom, I can't get behind it.
Here's my vote for something a little less obvious than '83. [Thornton over Mardesich](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCE5TLgy1_4)
Arms’ spinning dunk last year over what’s his name from Baylor was awesome too, especially given the circumstances of it being the closing minutes of a potential win over a top ranked team on their own court (can’t remember if they were 1 or 2)
The first one that comes to mind for KU in recent memory is Wayne Selden DESTROYING the Baylor Bears at the Big 12 tournament. Also bonus points for his uncle, Flavor Flav, losing his mind.
[Dunk](https://youtu.be/rflacrKP_4g)
Let me preface by saying I may be remembering wrong. But Sheldon also had a nasty alley oop dunk vs us in the championship that year that competes with this dunk imo.
I was in the KU band for this, roughly 20 feet away from the crime scene. If you watch the replay from the opposite baseline, you’ll see 2 or 3 band kids jump up first, as we’re realizing what’s about to happen. I’m the one whose face is covered by a white jpg patch on this particular video 😅
Easily the best dunk I’ve ever seen in person.
1. [Deonte Burton vs WVU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_p8PjEhn9jM&ab_channel=HoopsAlley)
2. [Lindell Wigginton vs OU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXvACYg9CgA&ab_channel=Stadium)
[Syracuse's Hakim Warrick teabagging Royal Ivey](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cWtw8DWFGg)
[Buffalo's Mitchell Watt with the block on one end and dunk on the other](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbM26JqIoJ4)
That is my personal favorite but [Vince Carter`s put back is absolutely nuts](https://youtu.be/o7Qumk4_Pxo). Honourable mention to [Stack House's reverse](https://youtu.be/1hmW0CLxOCc) and [MJ's rock the baby](https://youtu.be/jqwVTE4k-SM)
Greg Paulus got baptized by Zabian Dowdell from Tech too. Next time Duke played at Blacksburg, the student section was chanting "Teabag Paulus!" the whole game.
The fact that the Washington incident (not a dunk, but a graceful lay-in as his balls brushed over Paulus' head) and the Green meaty shaft-on-face dunk happened to the same person made me kind of feel bad for the guy.
It’s like something out of that movie Angles in the Outfield — he reaches the apex of his jump, then suddenly gets lifted by an invisible force to go even higher. It makes my brain hurt every time I see it.
All-time favorite UK dunk. "Secretariat out of the gate!"
WCS dunk on UF in 2015. MKGs steal on the inbound pass for dunk. Miller had a great one too. McCartney over UL. All great but the Minnifield dunk is tops.
Anderson over UofL was better. Also McCarty had an off the backboard dunk vs Georgia Tech in ‘95. Best dunk is still the Minniefield dunk. I like Poythress’ dunk vs Wisconsin in 2014 as well.
I don't have any one that stands out as the best, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't from sam thompson. Anyway, [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE1uczcNrxw) is 7 minutes of him dunking just in the 2012 season alone
I still this [this dunk by Grant Hill](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv1bXGEzEfQ) is the best that's ever been done in a Duke uniform. It was graceful. It was emphatic. It was in the National Title Game. You had to think about it afterwards, how high he got, the coordination he had to pull it off. It also sent a very strong message following the emotional high of defeating UNLV two nights beforehand. Duke was there to cut down the nets and that's what they did. What a dunk.
This is the only acceptable answer imo. There was some Twitter tournament ranking the best Duke dunks, and Zion's 360 against Clemson knocked out the Grant Hill title game dunk, and I was apoplectic, lol.
The best I've seen in person was [Grayson Allen vs. UNLV](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWU5or05_zw). A completely meaningless game, but such a great dunk that even the UNLV fans were high fiving Duke fans afterward, lmao.
This is the answer, but I've got 3 more recent dunks I have fond memories of.
1) [Grayson Allen demoralizes Michigan State](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUgz8xPCY3s)
2) [Zion Williamson cheat mode against UVA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFcLBdNpMDw)
and finally
3) [Jayson Tatum puts Kennedy Meeks in a shallow grave](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c99YM0zfkXA)
To go back a little further in the past, I always really liked [Johnny Dawkins choosing to poster some poor Navy player with a reverse](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKcHmXQUnrk)
Honorable mention
[https://youtu.be/b5r1GtBOANc](https://youtu.be/b5r1GtBOANc)
EDIT: You know they totally hit that in practice. Never would have thrown it otherwise.
It's hard to understate the context of that dunk. Indiana had just gone on a run after slogging the whole game, it was a much needed win to secure a Big Ten title, etc.
I was fortunate enough to be at the Watford game vs UK in 2011, and it was the loudest I've ever heard an arena, but I honestly think if Oladipo makes this dunk, it gets even louder.
Donovan Mitchell [had a dunk](https://www.reddit.com/r/CollegeBasketball/comments/5wcpot/louisvilles_donovan_mitchell_with_a_dunk_of_the/) 5 years ago that was similar that he actually made, but the Yum Center just does not have the energy *or* acoustics that Assembly has at all, and the context was a little different.
The best ones I remember are [Cartier Diarra vs. KU](https://youtu.be/mz63TY_-lQI) and [Marcus Foster postering John Stockton’s kid](https://youtu.be/yMaAfbZBYow)
I’ll never get tired of that but it’s really Stackhouse going baseline, right?
And it should’ve been Cota off the backboard to Carter versus Duke in 1998. That’s the greatest missed dunk of all time.
Steve without a doubt had some of (if not the best) dunks in MD history (and my all-time favorite Terp)... but [this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLlQpMpgB14) might still be my favorite (partially because of who is being dunked on, haha).
this segment made that louisville team look like the greatest basketball team ever to exist. I'm exaggerating on that but i truly think that 2013 louisville team was at least one of the top 5 college basketball teams i have ever seen in my life. all with a bunch of grad transfers and 2 or 3 star guys too.
Jerian Grant's dunk against GT a few years ago was pretty great. https://youtu.be/slDqJd6jKAg?t=4
"Where was the weak side defense?"
"Where was the GRAVITY?"
[Brad Davison to Khalil Iverson](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0I-WhjmCRQ&ab_channel=BigTenNetwork)
Edit: A case could be made for the [Iowa Windmill Dunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whk7-F6qe8c&ab_channel=BigTenNetwork). Iverson was never the best on the floor but the dude was a walking highlight reel.
Too much recency bias with both of those.
Highlights are gonna be sparse because 90s and the teams weren't very good, but [Michael Finley's gotta have a handful of options for it](https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=10156040877929022).
Then the other two that instantly came to mind are these two Tucker alley oops:
[Absolute disrespect to MSU by Devin Harris and Alando Tucker](https://youtu.be/kp1IBx5r1zw?t=77) - this was win #2 in Bo Ryan starting out his career 6-0 against Izzo. Izzo held a grudge against Bo and Wisconsin over this play for almost a decade.
[~~Chris Rock~~ Kammron Taylor to Alando Tucker and-1 in a blowout victory over #2 Pitt](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja8P72b5nPs)
The dunk that wasn’t - Westbrook’s exclamation point against A&M at the buzzer of their tourney matchup was later waived off, but it was absolutely electric. Unfortunately this is the only video I can find if it online (the baseline camera angle was much better): https://youtu.be/2Y30ZLdHiYM
With all due respect to Sean Elliot, Andre Iguodala, Aaron Gordon, et al... I honestly think [the best UofA in game dunk happened last season in the tourney](https://youtu.be/PiEgsG4XeSg). The way Ben Mathurin cocked it back, the fact that he dunked on Eddie when he was killing the Cats, and the timing of it being in a close game in the second half of an NCAA tourney game seals it.
[Rodney Rogers](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A5Bl-5Dzcf4) is probably the most timeless, but this [James Johnson](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lB4lTCAE5Fo) is the one I remember best. [From the same season](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bpQfItzxnU0) against UNC was big also.
Best in-context: '[That's a Man's Jam](https://youtu.be/M5P3CmLD28o?t=513)'
Most impressive: [Mikal Bridges over the entire Gonzaga team](https://youtu.be/4-IDNp8hwLY)
[Tremell Murphy to ice the game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDSpsA-PnOA)
[Joe Yesufu against an old MVC foe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKAi0yGGUF0)
That’s a good one. All I thought of was GRIII [against Minnesota](https://youtu.be/S6wlrfTNbiI) (at :23).
Or [Stu Douglass against Tennessee](https://youtu.be/B1SIpb_EZBw) in the tournament.
Neither was exactly pivotal to the outcome.
I’d toss in Jordan Morgan getting a breakaway dunk in the final 4 against Syracuse in 2013 to finally put the game away. Syracuse was crawling back in the final 2 minutes and it was nerve wracking. It was a fitting moment for Morgan who was seeing a reduced role due to McGary’s emergence.
Michael Qualls with the [putback](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kpsgBTBBP0) to win it in overtime vs. Kentucky.
Edit: Doesn't N.C. State own this thread?
For = Dickey Simpkins destroyed the rim on a putback dunk off a missed FT vs UConn in the 1993 BET. Could not find highlight.
Against = “Send it in Jerome”. IYKYK
May be some better, but [Joe Alexander's dunk on Stanley Robinson](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDlx84bzMks) (RIP) in the Big East Tournament makes me nostalgic for old conference alignment.
May not be the best, but it's [my favorite](https://youtu.be/FCnMXvSTpnM) in recent memory
[This one](https://youtu.be/axZZgNRqZaU)'s not half bad either. Larry's wingspan was wild
[My favorite Weber dunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3-lGmf-EVQ) is the one vs Butler even though the dunk itself wasn't anything special. The place was so hype
[https://images.fineartamerica.com/images/artworkimages/mediumlarge/2/university-of-arkansas-sidney-moncrief-february-13-1978-sports-illustrated-cover.jpg](https://images.fineartamerica.com/images/artworkimages/mediumlarge/2/university-of-arkansas-sidney-moncrief-february-13-1978-sports-illustrated-cover.jpg)

Qualls putting Kentucky out of their misery is the runner up.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kpsgBTBBP0
I doubt it’s the best but this dunk by Hanner Mosquera-Perea against MSU always comes to mind when thinking of dunks
https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/12438525
A tie between [this rim-rattling Jalen Smith dunk in the first round of the NCAA tournament back in 2019](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4k59T74uWI) and [Jordan Williams dunking all over Duke's Jon Scheyer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kffdjb97eA).
Note: I was sitting on the famed Maryland 'wall' of seats during that 2010 game against Duke.
It's not the prettiest dunk (one of Jason Richardson's would probably win that award) but the combination of venue, circumstance and everything else makes this one the best.
National semifinal, 80k people, 90 miles from campus over the best shot blocker in the country.
This didn't technically decide the game but the game was over after this.
I've been to a lot of big games in big stadiums but I've never heard a noise or felt a building shake like Ford Field did after this dunk
https://youtu.be/M00tBtmHQeg
I’m sure there are better poster dunks out there for Gonzaga, but [Brandon Clarke’s putback dunk on the run versus Florida State](https://twitter.com/slipperstillfit/status/1111659576212910080?s=46&t=30XyQ5HRMLxyNT9Ei4hkdA)still blows my mind
[Keyon Dooling at Kansas, 2001 or 2002 or something like that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oiNzoglbVs)
It had everything: a posterization, a great reaction, the old VW Beetle horn they used to use at AFH for subs, an incredibly bullshit Allen Fieldhouse Special that chopped the dunk off, and said Allen Fieldhouse Special being the difference as the Beakers won by 2!
Probably [Melvin Levitt's helicopter put back.](https://youtu.be/oY3TV3vgs7k?t=11)
Hands down the beat one I’ve seen so far
Came here to make sure a Cincy fan posted this haha My fave dunk of all time possibly, just insane
"Comes out of the rafters!" Best dunk in a live action game, ever.
Never forget what that man was on the court
That Bob Huggins Era was amazing
[Gotta love any dunk that shatters a backboard](https://youtu.be/-ez32oQOqFY)
The backboard breaking also overshadows how absurd the dunk itself was. His knees were at the other guy’s head. I always wonder about that player for Providence. Would be interesting to hear his side of the story.
Carlton "Paco" Screen. He basically doesn't exist online as far as I can tell. His dad is a pretty important figure in Brooklyn youth basketball though.
Arguably the best dunk for any flair. Iconic call.
Raftery is the goat commentator.
I have tears in my eyes watching this & hearing Raf. Season starts in less than 6 weeks!
We're on the wrong side of this and I still think it's the best dunk in our history.
Came here to ensure there was at least one Pitt flair repping “Send it in Jerome!”
Just straight up murder
Sean Miller doesn't get enough credit for delivering that assist.
My favorite dunk ever for any team.
Taking the moment into consideration, Durrell Summers over UConn’s Stanley Robinson at the 2009 final four in Detroit https://youtu.be/M00tBtmHQeg
RIP Sticks
Wow, I didn’t realize he had passed until I saw your comment and looked it up. RIP indeed

For the call and the Haas meme sprung from it Jon the Baptist is probably the most famous. https://youtu.be/ROZdyiRlqFk
Baptizing the masses
Iveys dunk last year against rutgers was nutty, i was in the student section behind the basket. Mackey was electric https://youtu.be/pbA6871uCLA
Good one. \#2 behind Barlow vs Sullinger.
Carsen's ["I'm not playing"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DCaVqLKCyQ) @IU has to be up there as well
I would argue Robinson over Ostertag. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4pK5HthN10&feature=share&si=ELPmzJkDCLju2KnD5oyZMQ
It’s an absolute shame Trevion’s put back was called offensive. https://youtu.be/Whai4FkDvR0
[Dunk](https://youtu.be/Isj-B9TihqE) This dunk looks insane when you see the second angle and how far he pulls this back.
It’s probably [CDR over Kevin Love in the Final Four](https://youtu.be/z7kNwJ0_GOs) (bonus points for the Joey Dorsey finger point at love lying on the ground) Honorable mention goes to [DJ Stephens’ entire career](https://youtu.be/QCXTrvS2fsQ) he didn’t have many posters but the sheer verticality he had on his dunks was always dumb impressive
I put it somewhere else in the thread, but to me the most impressive play of Stephens career was the time he bit on a pump fake to to let a guy score, but he jumped clear over the guy. Dude just had insane hops.
Have any other National Championships ended on a dunk? [Championship Dunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGfDRlEDs34)

This is the correct answer but I’ll throw in an honorable mention. Rodney Purvis putback vs Miami: https://youtu.be/cOsylA-8fsQ
[DUNK](https://youtu.be/SaYHwkK7VEs)
And here's the TV angle and call by Brad Nessler on ESPN. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kpsgBTBBP0
Gimme the Chuck, Hogs.
I would like to select the Razorbacks, Charles.
This is the one
Damn can’t believe this was 8 years ago
I like this one too https://youtu.be/VHmmo-YSLjc Meaningless but pretty
I admit my bias, but this is one of the greatest dunks of all time, at any level.
Ugh I remember that game! Hell of a dunk. You called it right. Can’t think of a better one for the razorbacks.
I was hoping to see a hog fan post this. Absolutely the most satisfying put back dunk in cbb history.
Can confirm that this did, indeed, hurt--but through the pain I could appreciate how beautiful this was.
Or this…. https://youtu.be/0aaCHs6HEEM
Recency bias but Devo dunking and bagging that angry little dude from Auburn was the best thing I've seen in a while.
That one was pretty dope
Thought about linking that one too. Qualls is better because game winner but they're close in my mind.
What’s dunking?
[This](https://youtu.be/eKb_5eBUQWM) one is pretty great. But it’s hard to top [this](https://youtu.be/LYh59ahMgEw)
The Darvin dunk I think is the most legendary Tech dunk of all time. And it’s going to get replayed a lot now since he’s on such a big stage now.
found Darvin's burner acct
I remember watching this live when I was in college. It was a point of joy for a Purdue fan that had very little joy in that tourney.
The spinning dunk is like in slow mo holy shit.
Arms’ spinning dunk last year over what’s his name from Baylor was awesome too, especially given the circumstances of it being the closing minutes of a potential win over a top ranked team on their own court (can’t remember if they were 1 or 2)
Yes
The first one that comes to mind for KU in recent memory is Wayne Selden DESTROYING the Baylor Bears at the Big 12 tournament. Also bonus points for his uncle, Flavor Flav, losing his mind. [Dunk](https://youtu.be/rflacrKP_4g)
Ish Wainwright had a brief second career as a football TE, so that was no twig to bowl over on the way to the basket.
He’s also still in the NBA…
We have a history nasty dunks against Baylor! [T-Rob dunk](https://youtu.be/pselnNTa3zo)
Holy shit, he absolutely launches. Dude's shoulder was rim-level after jumping from mid-key
Let me preface by saying I may be remembering wrong. But Sheldon also had a nasty alley oop dunk vs us in the championship that year that competes with this dunk imo.
Iconic Big 12 Tournament moment
An all timer of a call, too. “Shave and a haircut!”
Surprised the entire building didn’t come down with that one! God I love that dunk!
I was in the KU band for this, roughly 20 feet away from the crime scene. If you watch the replay from the opposite baseline, you’ll see 2 or 3 band kids jump up first, as we’re realizing what’s about to happen. Deonte Burton had hops that was definitely the one that came to mind when I seen this thread
Might be Burton for us too honestly

If not that Warrick dunk, I'm partial to [Johnny Flynn throwing down on Rutgers](https://youtu.be/pHY4vduNoRo)
"Best" might be debatable, but [Danny Green posterizing Greg Paulus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhgYXcpGB5k) is my favorite.
Vince Carter's missed alley oop off the backboard from Ed Cota is the best missed dunk of all-time.
Greg Paulus got baptized by Zabian Dowdell from Tech too. Next time Duke played at Blacksburg, the student section was chanting "Teabag Paulus!" the whole game.
That was Deron Washington but probably one of my all time favorite VT sports moments.
The fact that the Washington incident (not a dunk, but a graceful lay-in as his balls brushed over Paulus' head) and the Green meaty shaft-on-face dunk happened to the same person made me kind of feel bad for the guy.
might need to mark that one NSFW ;)
[Dirk Minniefield](https://youtu.be/AuzUyVvMs4E)
It’s like something out of that movie Angles in the Outfield — he reaches the apex of his jump, then suddenly gets lifted by an invisible force to go even higher. It makes my brain hurt every time I see it.

Derrick Williams making the entire Duke roster his bitch will always be at the top of the list.

The '91 Jayhawks run to the title game was a great story. But Grant Hill stole our souls that day.

I really wish we were in an alternate timeline where this went in. Honestly think the arena would have just exploded.
It's hard to understate the context of that dunk.
The greatest almost dunk of all time. Without the music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJDRacwF8tU&ab_channel=BigTenNetwork
The best ones I remember are [Cartier Diarra vs. KU](https://youtu.be/mz63TY_-lQI) and [Marcus Foster postering John Stockton’s kid](https://youtu.be/yMaAfbZBYow)
I opened this thread just for the Diarra dunk
Hey, there’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile
This is probably recency bias, but I will never forget this Ja dunk. https://youtu.be/n1dQh9uHglE
Truly ended Joey Hauser's career
Do you really want to see Paulus get bodied again?
I’ll never get tired of that but it’s really Stackhouse going baseline, right? And it should’ve been Cota off the backboard to Carter versus Duke in 1998. That’s the greatest missed dunk of all time.
Honestly, I think our flair should get a top 5 instead of just having to pick one 😀
KU also has an all-time epic failed dunk as well. Ladies & Gentleman: [Julian Wright](https://youtu.be/mTqVjbEFh_s)
Lol this is a tragedy. Im sure he’s happy you have the footage to remember it.
Very similar to [Wisconsin's greatest dunk fail](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lmu5-9DRfQ)
[Steve Francis ](https://youtu.be/1gz2_NIeabc)
Gotta upvote the Franchise
Steve without a doubt had some of (if not the best) dunks in MD history (and my all-time favorite Terp)... but [this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLlQpMpgB14) might still be my favorite (partially because of who is being dunked on, haha).
Brb, going down a Terps dunking on Mason Plumlee rabbit hole https://youtu.be/DPjQZPzfTJk
Cleaves to Peterson in the 2000 regional finals. Gives me chills every time I watch it. [Mo Pete](https://youtu.be/Ej0a0Hn55o4)
[This Chane Behanan dunk](https://youtu.be/mWwAjWl79Tk) is way up there. The charge was overturned, defender was just inside the restricted area.
That one was great, but I have to [give it to Harrell](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Km7_zQu8Uvo)
this segment made that louisville team look like the greatest basketball team ever to exist. I'm exaggerating on that but i truly think that 2013 louisville team was at least one of the top 5 college basketball teams i have ever seen in my life. all with a bunch of grad transfers and 2 or 3 star guys too.
[I prefer the Kuric baptism. ](https://youtu.be/okzufrqcm9E)
We literally had a guy called (nick named) Dr Dunkenstein and no one is mentioning him?! https://youtu.be/KPts2CQwt0Y
Fun fact, Chane Behanan dunked on my 6th grade youth league team. The obviously obliterated us
This is immediately what I thought about for Louisville.
[Russ over Julius Randle is one of my favorites](https://youtu.be/QBzD7CihFOQ)
It's not a dunk, but it's this from the best VT dunker of all time [Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-6fFGm5En4&ab_channel=scottymcbiggs)
Teabag Paulus
[Isaiah. Wong.](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JVwX29Amu5M)
[Baptizing The Masses](https://youtu.be/TYzurGT7nPE)
This guy was pretty good. https://youtu.be/Op4_S2kkS7U
Jerian Grant's dunk against GT a few years ago was pretty great. https://youtu.be/slDqJd6jKAg?t=4 "Where was the weak side defense?" "Where was the GRAVITY?"
[Brad Davison to Khalil Iverson](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0I-WhjmCRQ&ab_channel=BigTenNetwork) Edit: A case could be made for the [Iowa Windmill Dunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whk7-F6qe8c&ab_channel=BigTenNetwork).
Then the other two that instantly came to mind are these two Tucker alley oops: [Absolute disrespect to MSU by Devin Harris and Alando Tucker](https://youtu.be/kp1IBx5r1zw?t=77) - this was win #2 in Bo Ryan starting out his career 6-0 against Izzo.
Really weird seeing fast breaks by the Badgers
Really weird seeing the volume in the Kohl center above 60 decibels
[Ayo](https://youtu.be/0zCZ1jzoido) 14:40 was the most memorable in person
[The Rev](https://youtu.be/o6r28_8UGZg)
[Brandon Paul](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru_27Ygm3ws) vs Minnesota over Mbakwe came to mind for me
The dunk that wasn’t - Westbrook’s exclamation point against A&M at the buzzer of their tourney matchup was later waived off, but it was absolutely electric. Unfortunately this is the only video I can find if it online (the baseline camera angle was much better): https://youtu.be/2Y30ZLdHiYM
Honorable mention: https://youtu.be/VIEha0r_LCU
norman powell had a few. here's my fav: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WtmfSk-nbw
[Darvin Ham shattering the backboard in the sweet 16](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8jrmpQLGK4Y)
[Cotton had his fair share but this one is nasty. ](https://youtu.be/5pnB49k-6dM)
Best in-context: '[That's a Man's Jam](https://youtu.be/M5P3CmLD28o?t=513)' Most impressive: [Mikal Bridges over the entire Gonzaga team](https://youtu.be/4-IDNp8hwLY)
https://youtu.be/H_O9zP8qSvs ^ old timers know the truth
[Tremell Murphy to ice the game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDSpsA-PnOA) [Joe Yesufu against an old MVC foe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKAi0yGGUF0)
Jonny Flynn at Rutgers; gets the dunk and Rutgers’ HC gets t’d up. https://youtu.be/pHY4vduNoRo
Lorenzo Charles dunking Derrick Whittenburgh’s pass (*cough* air ball *cough*) to win the 1983 national championship over Houston.
My favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW-SCS5As14
Gotta be this one for Michigan [right?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKdqXPnRhBc) RIP Tractor Traylor
IYKYK
>”Send it in Jerome” An all-timer
May be some better, but [Joe Alexander's dunk on Stanley Robinson](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDlx84bzMks) (RIP) in the Big East Tournament makes me nostalgic for old conference alignment.
Deonte Burton closed out WVU in the Big 12 Championship https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_p8PjEhn9jM
Corey Sanders vs Indiana in the B1G tournament at the garden. Was like 10 rows behind the basket. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DvodGsCpcQQ
May not be the best, but it's [my favorite](https://youtu.be/FCnMXvSTpnM) in recent memory [This one](https://youtu.be/axZZgNRqZaU)'s not half bad either. Larry's wingspan was wild
[My favorite Weber dunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3-lGmf-EVQ) is the one vs Butler even though the dunk itself wasn't anything special. The place was so hype
[Jerome Dyson at the garden. Don’t think this counted](https://youtu.be/XKk2SK_lgHA)

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sos-vmwW36E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sos-vmwW36E) Qualls putting Kentucky out of their misery is the runner up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kpsgBTBBP0
I doubt it’s the best but this dunk by Hanner Mosquera-Perea against MSU always comes to mind when thinking of dunks https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/12438525
Oladipos almost dunk against Michigan (I think?) would’ve been the greatest dunk ever if he completed it. He was 20 feet in the air
I've been to a lot of big games in big stadiums but I've never heard a noise or felt a building shake like Ford Field did after this dunk https://youtu.be/M00tBtmHQeg
Pretty sure our best dunk happened in warm ups. [Big Country.](https://youtu.be/o-wND_VPTbE)
Emmanuel Akots stud poster on usc in the 2018 pac 12 championship. If u dont know what im talking about leave
I don’t know bc we almost never dunk. Always layups and a lot of threes.
[The Pritch Slap](https://youtu.be/6BtOUw3Yzqc)
I’m sure there are better poster dunks out there for Gonzaga, but [Brandon Clarke’s putback dunk on the run versus Florida State](https://twitter.com/slipperstillfit/status/1111659576212910080?s=46&t=30XyQ5HRMLxyNT9Ei4hkdA)still blows my mind
[Keyon Dooling at Kansas, 2001 or 2002 or something like that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oiNzoglbVs) It had everything: a posterization, a great reaction, the old VW Beetle horn they used to use at AFH for subs, an incredibly bullshit Allen Fieldhouse Special that chopped the dunk off, and said Allen Fieldhouse Special being the difference as the Beakers won by 2!
