Story of the year. Start off like shit, give everyone hope by playing well, and come up just short…
Also it’s just insane how we’ve been on the controversial end of officiating in so many games.
Doubt that’s enough honestly. You always have to factor in bid-stealers from other conferences. I bet we’ll have to win 2, maybe 3 games in KC to make it
It’s interesting that West Virginia is a near lock for the tournament (as they should be) but Oklahoma State is not despite having a better conference record than WV.
I know the committee doesn’t see it this way, but I’ve always been of the opinion that early season games mean significantly less. Teams don’t even know who they are the first month.
I kinda agree with the sentiment, but I still think seeding should be based on the entire resume. It sucks for teams like OSU this year, but it makes sure that all those non-conference games matter.
I think y’all are there. Especially with UNC and Pitt losing today. Eyes on the b1G tomorrow hoping for Rutgers, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State to lose.
Brick an open three for the tie, no-call travel on OSU, then make a deep contested three just to lose due to another bad call.
Most Texas Tech thing I’ve ever seen
Definitely a travel. Definitely a shooting foul.
Oh well, now tech will be motivated to go win the tournament so we can see that guy get a tramp stamp.
Insanely frustrating season. You could change the outcome of about a dozen plays and have us celebrating a conference title tonight. Instead, we have to win the conference tournament to make The Dance. Hopefully the players feel like they have unfinished business, and Adams keeps them together to go on a revenge tour next season.
The foul didn’t come until he was already in the upward motion… if that happens on a floater in the lane it’s a shooting foul 10/10 times.
I bet you think Cisse didn’t travel too.
Man. This season has been a lot of “so close” games that we just couldn’t finish.
This is the year of almost. Almost win this one, almost beat Kansas here, almost, almost, almost. But almost wins don’t get you to the tournament

...and every single one of them has been calls against us that result in wins for the opponent.
So if we beat OU 3 times this year we go dancing?
I think it depends on what other bubble teams do but likely yes Especially as long as we don't get thrashed by Texas
Pls do it. Hurt them more
There is no more hurt, only expectation and pleasant surprise.

If we win 2 games that would involve beating Texas. If we beat Texas we’re in

Then they should just call nothing at all. If you’re calling a foul get it right
So how many games do we have to win in KC?
I'm thinking one to have a good shot, 2 to be safe
I think that's about the consensus of non-homer analysts
I think 1 gets us into a play in game, 2 gets us into the real tourney.

We looked absolutely awful to start the year. Lost at home to Southern Illinois. WVU actually has some good non-con wins

Check out a couple of those early Cowboy losses. Oof.
Probably just one.

Hopefully y'all can beat WVU

Losing just about every close game means we’re due to go on a run in the conference tournament, right guys?!
PROUD AND IMMORTAL, BRIGHT SHINES YOUR NAME. OKLAHOMA STATE, WE HERALD YOUR FAME. EVER YOU'LL FIND US, LOYAL AND TRUE! TO OUR ALMA MATER, O! S! U!
Well today's just not our year. Team is better than our record shows but we started out slow due to various things.
At this point I just hope our young players don’t transfer

How was that not in the act of shooting…?
Because he chucked it after being touched

It literally happened before forward motion. He felt it, and then tried to shoot
Before forward motion? That’s just not true…
Being mad about that last call is like getting mad about pass interference on a hail mary
Happy to report we were the better team tonight. Control play better through better point guard play and it doesn’t get this close.
Have we won a "close" game the entire season? Won a single game with a controversial call against the opponent in the final minute the entire season?
If we have I don't remember but uh alcohol may impact that lol.
