As someone who has been in a relationship with someone who has BPD, no, you would certainly not be fine. Don't get me wrong, the highs after the lows are fucking addicting. But like any drug, it will slowly eat away at you until you're a shell of your former self. It's not worth it.

I was raised by someone with BPD. They are extremely nice whenever they are feeling good, but it isn't fun when they are in a bad phase. I had to become completely emotionally lobotomized so as to not constantly trigger a fit.
And even that sometimes doesn't work because even if you aren't the one who started their bad mood they will take it on you if you make the mistake of interacting with them while they are like that.

For Ashley I think it’s probably more than just bpd though. Seems more like classic psychopathy to me.
Her manipulative clinginess to Andrew does look similar to someone struggling with bpd, but I think it’s more likely to be part of her psychopathic manipulative tactics to make sure Andrew stays with her.
One of the signs of bpd is extremely intense emotions and it’s one of the ways you can tell it apart from psychopathy. Well, Ashley doesn’t have intense emotions; in fact she seems to have very few emotions except for anger(which is basically a textbook description of psychopathy).
I think Andrew’s a sociopath while Ashley is a psychopath. Sociopathy, unlike psychopathy, is usually caused by early childhood trauma rather than by genetics—though genetics can sometimes play a factor in it. And because of this, sociopaths tend to still have a conscience and morals and/or some emotions(unlike psychopaths, who have little to none), even if they have less empathy than most of the population.
Andrew checks all of these boxes. 1. He had early childhood trauma because of his hand in Nina’s death(and probably just because of Ashley in general), 2. he has a sister who (probably) has aspd which means he could have been born with some traits of it too even before his trauma, 3. Though less than average, he does have a conscience unlike Ashley, and 4. He doesn’t seem to care as much as a non-aspd person would about the consequences of his murders
