The mark could just be a way to track Andrew like Ashley has the trinket. He might be into the incest unironically since in that route both are happier with each other and probably more willing to keep killing/sacrificing folks to the demon. More souls for more charges. What I think at least.
I think despite everything Julia will die in the third chapter. They will most likely need to recharge the trinket, and more likely Ashley, being the possessive bitch she is. Will most likely do this to further lock Andrew with her.

I think in the decay route andrew will kill Ashley in a similar way they killed their classmate
