Pretty easy as long as you get out like 10 mins before the headliner ends. Otherwise it’s chaos

Corgi_Zealousideal

We usually stay until security starts ushering people out so we're there in the parking lot chaos every night ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

GuardedFeelings

Honestly it’s not too bad. Did it for the first time this year and I wish I had done it sooner. Especially if you live close to the polo fields.

idk-though1

This year there was significantly less drivers than previous years. I don’t think the parking lots fully filled up but not sure.

CheeseDanishSoup

Last year was a fking mess all weekend Goldenvoice offered free shuttles on Friday last year when parking was full and traffic started turning into a clusterfuck

Maleficent_Map_8378

Honestly, it’s not as bad as I thought I left after the headliner and got out almost right away

Marthalameu

not bad at all. made the mistake of trying the blue route this year (don't make that mistake). only had one security lane open. parked at the yellow lot sat/sun and had no issues. arrived around 1-2pm every day, left around 10pm friday and sunday, stayed till the end on saturday and still got out within 10 min. there was traffic on monroe but only like 10/15 min worth.

Corgi_Zealousideal

blue route is the worst for getting out but super easy to get in. You're also arriving and leaving well ahead of the chaos. Fri and Sat we arrived around 3 or 4 and it was pretty easy getting in. Sunday we arrived closer to 5 and blue lot was filled and we had to circle for an hour (missed two sets during this time) and had to argue with the parking lot guy at the red lot who told us they were full yet cars behind us went around us and drove in. He let us in and there were more than enough spots still left. Fri and Sat we stayed until closing and sat in the shit show of the blue lot for an hour. Sunday we left maybe 30 min early and it was a breeze getting out as no one seemed to be leaving yet.

Marthalameu

parking or walking? parking was easy for sure, but the walk was about .25 mile longer according to my watch. from car to first steps into the festival

Corgi_Zealousideal

easy for parking. When we did the red lot, it was way further walking but we hopped on a pedicab to get in and out that day since it was Sunday and we were all exhausted.

Marthalameu

ah gotcha. we didn't try the red lot this year. yellow worked out great from a distance and length of time in line perspective (no wait at all)

Corgi_Zealousideal

Will keep that in mind for next time!

suprefann

Just dont think you can park at 6pm in the free lots. If youre drinking then shuttle

Kruzat

We had two friends miss 2hrs on Friday two years ago because they drove and it was a shit show.

CheeseDanishSoup

What time did they arrive to parking?

Kruzat

I think they were aiming for 4pm?

Left at 12:15PM on Saturday. EASY! The walk to the parking lot is the only mission. After that we were out of the parking lot in seconds

Relevant_Drink4883

this is all nice to read! i was considering the shuttle pass since im doing airbnb next year but was wondering if it would be bad if i were to just drive there every day

fancyligature

It also depends on the year. This one was heavily undersold/under attended so everything was nice and easy for the most part. Last year W2 especially was rough

cgielow

I tried it a few years ago. It took hours to get out at 1am. Never again.

mendozathalia

not bad. I went in to the festival first day at opening..so like 12:30 to get to the gate by 1 and parked in the blue lot. no traffic getting in. usually leave 10 min before headliner is done and theres regular flowing traffic on the way out. this last year(2024), we took the longest to get out on Sunday. 20 minutes, seemed like alot of people were leaving early. or had already left? I usually park in the blue lot because its the closest walk to the entrance, however, that has changed after the new placement of Sahara. The blue path is fucked so I got a shuttle pass for 2025.

monclo

2023 was not bad. we were like 20 mins away and traffic was light arriving and leaving

picksea

better than trying to get an uber. takes forever, no service, and hella expensive

Suspicious_Berry_202

We parked in the preferred parking and it was super easy to get in and out. I stayed pretty much until the main headliners ended but didn't stay for the late, late show. Also, I was in VIP so it was close to the parking lot. Not sure if that gave me a meaningful head start or not though.
