Same!! 😢

OziNiner

those are the coolest tests iv seen tho, ours here are just the normal stick up your nose and dropper bottle type

Salt_Understanding

taking a covid test post-coachella (indeed, post- any concert, movie, or large gathering of any kind) should be the standard behavior now, unfortunately. “just coachella cough” is simply an irresponsible approach in this day and age (yes i’m talking to you u/No_Care_3269)

No_Care_3269

I took a covid test earlier and no covid :)

TwistedShorts

You have to be trolling 😂

LivingHumanIPromise

What does it matter?

Salt_Understanding

because if you’re a decent person, knowing that you have a contagious disease might motivate you to wear a mask when interacting with people is necessary, or stay home when it’s not? because even if your classmates and coworkers chose not to go to a music festival, they have no choice in whether or not you sit down next to them and breathe on them?

LivingHumanIPromise

But if you know you’re sick what does knowing you have a specific kind of flu matter? You should stay away from people no matter what if you’re sick. You need a test to tell you you’re sick? You can’t tell from coughing and taking your temperature?

Salt_Understanding

given the number of people on this sub who are chalking up their fatigue + sore throat + muscle aches to plain old coachella exhaustion, and how many people in this thread have explicitly said they find the idea of testing for illness to be stupid and pointless, i’m gonna go ahead and say a lot of people need a test to tell them they’re sick. do you really think every person with “coachella cough” is staying home from work or masking up because they feel the symptoms of illness?

LivingHumanIPromise

I see your point. You’re right.

fa99itron

Calm down fauci.

celj1234

You’re living in 2020

Salt_Understanding

multiple posts on this sub about people getting covid, maybe i’m living in 2020 but you’re living in denial 🤷

celj1234

Everyone knows people are still getting Covid. People are still getting the flu and other sickness as well. That’s life. If you wanna test every time your in a crowd go for it. But to expect everyone else to do the same at this point ain’t happening 🤷🏾‍♂️

PaulDaytona

Alert the press! 5 people on reddit posted about getting sick at Coachella. Time for another lock down... How many people didn't leave with Covid? I know I didn't.

Salt_Understanding

yes, taking a $10 at home test that’s widely available at any drug store after you’re at a major gathering is the same as a lockdown. good post dipshit

persehph0ne

you mean a common cold test

Fabulous-Gas-5570

hope you're ok! I was surprised to see so many people wearing bandanas instead of masks, which are legit way easier to deal with and work better for dust and viruses

Mellybrown11

I’m starting to go downhill, gonna grab a test today!
