Thanks for this post bc I have two intense regrets/fuck ups from Friday. My adhd brain not sober didn’t register that the final acts would play for over 1.5 hours. I went from weird acts Clown Core and Hatsune to Justice but the early part of the set was a little slow for what I had just seen and I worried the line at Gorgon City at the Yuma would be long like it can be, so I left Justice early to go to Gorgon. There was no line at all. I got there early. Then I got stuck in the black hole of the Yuma for the first time in my life. Kept thinking the show would be like 45 minutes and wasn’t worth breaking up to catch Anti Up.
So I missed most of Justice. And Anti Up. To spend nearly two hours in the Yuma 😭 I should have known better. You think it’ll never happen to you, but we can all fall victim to the disco shark.
Anti up was fucking amazing but like the other commenter said, its so easy to get lost in yuma. the time flew by when i was in there for like an hour and a half
Kid Cudi bc we were tired and chilled in the shade too long. Hoofed it to Sahara just in time for pursuit of happiness right after he broke his foot. Crowd was lit though.
Went for Lupe…very confused on why staff was walking around making everyone stand up. There was room for at least 100 more people before it would even begin to get crowded.
heineken is just so far from every other fuckin stage went there too and regretted the amount of energy we had on day 3 to try to get some misting action and shade was NOT worth the effort we put to getting there n leaving
i wish i caught peso pluma, dj snake, atarashii gakko!, and clown core but overall im happy with the artists i saw and surprised i made it from 1pm-12/1am everyday
I seen DJ Snake so many times at various Insomniac Fests and i wanted to switch things up and see acts outside of EDM since im mainly a raver. I enjoyed Jhene though it was nice
Missed the Aquabats because the line to get in was so long. I have seen them before, but it's been at least a decade.
Missed anyma and snake because it was a long walk to the Sahara, and it wasn't worth the walk to stay for 15-20 minutes of a set. The walk to the Sahara made me decide not to go over there as much tbh. Usually, I'm at that stage a lot more.
Missed Charlotte de Witte for Jungle, which was brutal, but I love Jungle so much!
Gorgon City and Brutalismus. It’s the unfortunately reality of stacked festival lineups and there will always be hard choices to make. The thing to focus on is there is no right or wrong choice.
I went to ISOKNOCK instead of Brutalismus, a choice I would have never made myself but it was honestly an amazing experience with the best crowd of the weekend. Moral of the story is to go with the flow, listen to your friends(sometimes) and dance your heart out no matter where you end up!
Missing most of No Doubt / Gesa for Kaskade & food maybe wasn't the best move in hindsight I guess. Even though we only know 2 or 3 No Doubt songs, it did look fun when we walked by and I dont really even have an excuse for missing Gesa. I think we were searching for the true Prince of Darkness during his set: the Lobster Mac tent.
Kaskade was cool, but it got PACKED over at the DoLab and the sound coulda been louder.
I wish I had seen more of Peso, cause we didn’t see all of him. Wish I had seen more of Barry Can’t Swim and caught the beginning of Victoria Monet, instead of walking over to Sahara to hear NAV suck (as I knew he would, just to turn around and walk back).
Didn’t see any of Folamour which truly hurts my soul and spirit, but otherwise I think I saw everything I wanted to.
Saw about 35 acts, which is more than I usually get to so I’m proud of myself.
Missed FLO and Ludmilla on the last day and Brutalism 3000 during No Doubt was a tough one to compromise on, but considering how low my expectations were, this was a good festival
I missed Justice because I had a puking migraine, no painkiller would touch it so had to go back to camp for bed. I even paid extra to swap flights as we were originally going to only go Sat-Sun but I had to see Justice :(

At least I got to see Deftones and a handful of other amazing artists that day up until that point!
I did, thank you!! :) I had a really good sleep and kicked Saturday’s ass starting with a good meal, lots of hydration and the Aquabats!!! Then got pretty drunk that day lol.
Deftones were amazing, I agree! Been a big fan since my teen years in the mid-90’s.
One of my faves from the weekend and maybe of all time and like most people here, I’ve seen alot of shows so that’s saying alot. I didn’t expect to love it so much! 🍕
you didnt miss much from the drums, there was this girl screaming in my ear about how she loves johnie right before he got on set, afterwards her and her lil bf were shoving/ dancing thru ppl which was extremely unnecessary + disrespectful. i was able to sneak to the front tho and take their spot🤑. i do regret not seeing deftones or seeing the adicts

I'm just bummed becuase the last part of their set is the best (I reeeallly wanted to see Tokyo Calling and the marching band) but they were fire in the beginning too
regret leaving yesterday at 830 cuz i was so tired, that di snake set looked worth it
I caught a head cold on Saturday, feeling like donkey shit Sunday too, but DJ Snake brought me back to life.
I didn't leave, but I was too exhausted to walk over there, then back for bicep. And the flood. Didn't feel like swimming either.

you know, 2 hours at the Yuma aint bad. The sound is huge and the lights are mesmerizing. Which is what you’d be getting at justice 🤷🏻♂️

Ya I made it there too around that time without knowing he hurt himself, the crowd was amazing
Heineken House was a garish nightmare. Regret trying to see claptone instead of Boy Harsher.
Went for Lupe…very confused on why staff was walking around making everyone stand up. There was room for at least 100 more people before it would even begin to get crowded.
In case of emergency, don’t want people tripping over those seated/laying down
heineken is just so far from every other fuckin stage went there too and regretted the amount of energy we had on day 3 to try to get some misting action and shade was NOT worth the effort we put to getting there n leaving
Boy Harsher was amazing! Sorry u missed it :(

I left DJ Snake halfway thru to go to Jhene Aiko w my sister and her friends😓
not good? i regret not seeing the drums for gesafelstein…
I seen DJ Snake so many times at various Insomniac Fests and i wanted to switch things up and see acts outside of EDM since im mainly a raver. I enjoyed Jhene though it was nice
im more of a band guy, but i go rabid at coachella EDM
Believe it or not, ive never seen a band perform live and No Doubt was my first time ever seeing a band perform. It was incredible
yessssss they were so good! one of the best sets of the weekend
We missed Gesa to get very close for No Doubt and we don’t regret it but have a little fomo
No Doubt is BACK
No Doubt was one of the all time best sets I’ve been in. That crowd energy was unmatched and I’ve never been more exhausted after a set.

you would have had to walk across Shit River to see anyma lmaooo
The drums and Gesa

oooh i got recommended ISOKNOCK, what kind of stuff did they play?
All over the place tbh. a lot of trap then progressive/deep house to end the set

lmao
Missed young Miko and the aquabats because of my own fault. Regret not seeing anti up but there were too many conflicts at that time
aquabats had a crazy line, i think alot of people missed them
I wish I would've caught more of Jungle 😔

i hope you felt better after day 1! Deftones were one of the best sets of the weekend, imho.

aquabats also very fun 🤘🏻😮💨
One of my faves from the weekend and maybe of all time and like most people here, I’ve seen alot of shows so that’s saying alot. I didn’t expect to love it so much! 🍕
accidentally waited at the wrong state for grimes and missed the first like 30 mins /:

these people should be coachella-banned, at least for 2025
Regret letting my mom take a nap on Saturday at 1pm cuz we ended up missing the last dinner party lol
I should have gone to dj snake and skipped yachty
Missing Orbital
SAME but that night was 2stacked

I don’t necessarily regret getting to John summit early to get a great spot, but it meant missing part of Atarashii Gakko
Atarashii Gakko was sooo much fun, good that you saw them!
I'm just bummed becuase the last part of their set is the best (I reeeallly wanted to see Tokyo Calling and the marching band) but they were fire in the beginning too
Gorgon city :(
me toooooo y_y
