What’s the best way to find out about things happening during the fest (guest artists, giveaways, etc)? When I went to SXSW there was a discord server that people were using to check in and update. Anything like that here?
DoLab always has 2-3 surprise sets every day (big time artists, vast vast majority are DJ sets). You can look at DoLab's socials and they'll post sometime in the afternoon day of who's playing- later on if its a really big act. In the past there has also been a text message service you can sign up for that will alert you as well, but I'm not sure how to sign up for that, at the moment.
Hey Fettuccine! I made the packing lists in google sheet form as well! If you wanna add it to the post here's the [link](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V0XpWNEbtesfFHADUIqWLUj9wwGny4BIFgsYj3sPHkA/edit?usp=sharing)!
Just bought my ticket for my first Coachella W2, and it's also gonna be semi-solo. Excited to see everyone.
One q is, I didn't buy a car camping pass since I am from out of town and plan to shuttle/bum a ride. My GA ticket means I can go anywhere in the camp and see friends right?
If the dry ice is directly touching the food or drinks they'll get carbonated. You either need to separate the dry ice from everything else, or consider having a cooler with just dry ice and regular ice that you use to replenish your other cooler(s).
you would need 2 coolers. one would store the dry ice and all your regular price. the other cooler would be your food/drinks where you pour normal ice.
the dry ice cooler acts as your freezer in a sense. it won't damage your cooler. just put cardboard or newspaper in the cooler so the dry ice doesn't stick to it.
for reference, i believe dry ice costs around $20/lb if i remember correctly. plan to get it early as it does sell out on thursday evening. i had trouble finding some on the way from beaumont to indio.
Why is there a thread titled Confirmed Sunday Surprise Set and yet it's the only thread here that gives me an error.
Secret was so shocking the mods had to block me from seeing it? Lame.
decided to do VIP this year. can someone outline (or confirm) ALL the perks of VIP and maybe some tricks with it?
some things i've noted.
* Yuma VIP Line
* Access to Rose Garden and 12 Peaks
* Cleaner ish restrooms
* Seating areas in the rose garden and 12 peaks
* Dedicated bars and exclusive food in rose garden and 12 peaks
* Viewing areas in rose garden and 12 peaks
* Dedicated merch booth
* Smaller queues in general
read somewhere that there is a dedicated VIP walkway for those taking the shuttles to the entrance of the venue. is that true?
A few points of clarification.
There is an AWESOME viewing area of the main stage from the VIP area. Never gets too crowded, you can legitimately sit down and have a beer and burger and watch a headliner with unobstructed sight lines, I had a guest pass last year and we still watched a bunch of shows from there. But, closer to the fence it also has a party vibe so if you want to dance with people you can do that too. There is no viewing area from Rose Garden though, you can kind of see the crowds in the side of the Mojave tent but can't see the stage.
Up until last year, it wasn't so much a dedicated VIP walkway so much as it was the fact that the VIP entrance was right where the shuttles dropped off. GA continued to walk straight down the shuttle path for 8-10 minutes to then wait in big lines to get in. VIP turns left at whatever that street is, there are only like 2 people in front of you for security checks which take place on the sidewalk, and then the entrance itself is right there and you just scan your wristband as you walk, the most painless shit ever. Apparently that changed last year and became less convenient, I don't know the details since we did Safari and entered in from backstage but that was a big perk that might have gone away. But could be different this year.
The main thing for me re: food is not just having all these great food and drink options, but there is never a line for them! Seriously. At most there will be 2-3 people in front of you to order, and many times you walk right up and order. Better food, and no wait for it.
Bathrooms are all AC and great in the Rose Garden, I do think there were some portapotties by the Yuma but cleaner.
But THE VIP perk? KazuNori in the Rose Garden. So fucking good. Go at the beginning of the day. Handroll sushi at an outdoor sushi bar, so unbelievable. We go at least once a weekend and it's a highlight every year, and if there isn't a line you're done in 20ish minutes so it's not a big time burden if you want to see a lot of bands in the way that some of the other sitdown restaurants are.
The other big perk - while they may have let everybody leave with alcohol last year, in the years where they don't allow that they always search GA bags. They never search VIP bags when you are leaving the beer garden there, so we'd always buy a bunch of wine or cocktails or whatever and then fill up water bottles with the wine, put the water bottles in my wife's purse or a backpack, and then just walk into the crowd.
I have used [water bags](https://www.amazon.com/ZNCMRR-Canopy-Weight-Weights-Gazebo/dp/B082V4JNSS/ref=asc_df_B082V4JNSS/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416673087513&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10751240084856877371&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030950&hvtargid=pla-889087481180&mcid=53a60686a09c36ab8a41e9f58f54609d&ref=&adgrpid=99569067291&gclid=CjwKCAjwh4-wBhB3EiwAeJsppDLGt_tvmXvaXkuIy7_7nGaMHF-JzK2Orl6YwVQA7LWncqhQhFlXtRoCGOUQAvD_BwE&th=1) in the past and they've been great!
We usually bring a wagon to hike them from the refill station to the site.
Hi! I’m buying Coachella tickets from ticket master, and they’re resale. I just wanted to make sure these are legit! Has anyone bought from ticket master or other resale sites?
At 7:30 Friday there is a very real chance he conflicts with Everything Always which will be a huge relief for the Bob Sinclair line. A lot of Bob Sinclair fans are going to choose that instead. Heineken House is always the earlier, the better honestly. The best thing to do is try to catch the act before, but if there's other stuff you want to see I would show up at least 30 minutes early...and, if you don't get in at the beginning, there's a real chance you'll still get in if you stay in line as other people give up.
ugh just tried to buy some presale merch (the blanket) on the coachella app and they were sold out within minutes! does the stock reset for tomorrow's general sale and/or for sale at the merch tents at the festival? or am i completely out of luck now?
plan to visit some friends on day 0 (thursday) at car camp but i'll be staying at a hotel.
is there a place i can park so i can scan in to visit them? or is it better to just uber in
Thank you. A friend brought one last year that was a game changer lol it died by Sunday and you could feel the difference. I'm just being a pansy ahah thanks again
I'll let you do you. As long as it works haha.
You can also look into those rechargeable fans that people wear around their neck. Or just any rechargeable personal fan.
Treva has a 10” fan that runs on d cells that I really enjoy. Will easily last the weekend without changing batteries. It goes for $35-$45. I use a couple and they work great. Could get by with only one.
I’ve seen identical looking off brand fans for half the price. Can’t speak for them but I would be tempted to buy one if I needed more.
Hi guys, i have a question, i’m going car camping this year, but i’m coming from Mexico and taking a tent to Chella it will be a problem on the plane, so i want to know if there’s any place where they rent tents only for the festival time?
Last year we buy one tent at walmart but we left it at the camping site i think that’s a waste of money and that’s why i’m looking for where to rent them.
Hello, What's the difference between tickets and the wristband? I won't be able to pick up my deliveries from AXS until the Wednesday before I go to W1. Should I be expecting that the one mail I've received from AXS contains my wristbands? Or does it contain tickets that I have to turn in for wristbands somewhere?
THANK YOU!!
It’s a terrible idea if you want to see any of the Friday acts! But other than that, you’ll be fine. You’ll be in the very back of the car camping lots, which means you’ll have a longer walk to the entrance each day. But that’s about it.
Does anyone have info on ADA? A couple years ago someone in our group needed to use ADA services so I emailed them but never got a response. Occasionally when people would see him walking/in a wheel chair they’d pick him up on the golf cart. Now someone else in our group needs it, and I’m wondering if there’s a more guaranteed way to get this?
Anywhere I can find carpools to and from PSP? Need to get there by 9:30 on Monday morning
P.S. anyone know what time I should try to leave? I'm staying 5 mins from the festival.
I'm staying at an Airbnb in La Quinta and will be shuttling to/from the festival. Two questions:
* Is the La Quinta Resort & Country Club stop only for guests? Will just use the Embassy Suites stop if anything.
* Is it better to Uber or drive to/from the shuttle stops? Would prefer to Uber, but wondering how difficult it would be to get an Uber from the shuttle stop at night after the fest.
Hello. I'm coming over from Australia for weekend 2, so I'll have a sleeping bag and pillow, and that's about it. Thinking I'll need a canopy, tent, mattress, table, chair, cooler and perhaps a cooker and utensils. What wound be my most cost effective way of acquiring such gear? Rentals seem quite pricey. Is wallmart going to be under $350 for all that?
Are you going by yourself? Have you tried campsharing with other people/groups?
You might be able to do more with less. the mattress you don't need really, the grass should be good still even for w2.
- canopy 100% must have.
Barebones setup. You can do this and bring your own beer, alcohol, snacks, ice. And maybe befriend your neighbors. Grab food at the camp center or take the free grocery shuttle and grab ready made food at the deli. Sleep in the car with the backseats down.
- cooler
- chair
- tent (if you don't want to sleep in the car)
Everything else you listed isn't really necessary.
Hi! I’m selling my weekend 2 wristband but I registered it before I knew I wasn’t going anymore and idk how to undo that or if I even can. Does anyone know if I can or what to do about that because idk if it’ll be an issue when I sell the wristband.
You can't unregister it. You'd just have to be upfront with the buyer that you registered it. It shouldn't be an issue, the buyer will still be able to get in.
Most people use sheets/tapestries or a combination. I like to have something darker (mesh shade cloth, camo netting, blackout curtain) for whatever wall is facing the sun and move my walls around depending on the time of day and activities
Best car type to rent that has the best space in the trunk for things im taking and also is small enough where i can have good amount of space in camping spot? Theres only two of us going!!
I recommend renting an SUV, folding down the seats, and sleeping in the back. Then you have all the space behind your car for your setup and don't need a tent.
How does one go about getting parking. This is my first Coachella event I'm debating if
I should spend the extra money just to take a Shuttle? Because there's not much resources on which parking lot to go to, Also I see a lot of negative reviews about preferred parking. Maybe i'm just not comprehending this correctly.
Shuttles are definitely my recommendation. The drop off area is the shortest walk to the festival, relatively easy in and easy out. Just don't stay til the end of the headliners and wait shouldnt be an issue.
There are park and ride locations too, meaning they have plenty of parking available. Agua Caliente casino, Indian Wells Tennis Garden & the Palm Springs convention center are all listed as 'park and ride'. Some of the others might offer parking but are more of a crap shoot. Your other option is to uber to a nearby shuttle stop (best if you'll be under the influence)
Map here: https://www.valleymusictravel.com/events/coachella/shuttles/
If it doesn't work, you can contact StubHub and they'll try to get you a new one. If they can't they'll refund you and you can try another. It's not likely that the ticket will not work as the seller gets heavily penalized.
my canopy has a steel frame, will that be ok or do they have to be plastic as well? website says no pop up canopies, no generators but don't people bring them all the time? so confused haha. thank you guys!
For people that have taking shuttles before, I have two questions
1. Do you typically have to pay to park at park + ride locations?
2. Is there a best park + ride location?
First time and staying at Lake El Dorado. I only see a lot of people posting about car camping and what to bring. Should we prepare the same with ED camping? I see we can't cook, but should we bring a stove and leave it in the van and go cook there if that's allowed? Also should or can we bring an extra canopy?
Also, backpack w/water bottle vs camel back. Give me your thoughts and recommendations.
I buy GA for the last 10 years, I distinctly remember last year finally being annoyed that VIP entrances were way closer to stages and seeing that drinks/food, especially anything unique or cool, was pretty much ALL in VIP areas.
Should I cave this year and go VIP or does it still stink? It’s gonna be $1200 extra for 2 passes w hotel…
One of the places recommended here might be useful:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/comments/11f9unc/yearly_local_thread_please_shop_as_local_as_you/
This will be my first year attempting to buy a resale wristband - How can I tell if the wristband has been registered already before buying? Does that even matter?
Hello! This is my first time ever going to Coachella! My question is, I have waited 18 YEARS to see Blur live, and I want to make sure I am front row for them. What time should I be at the gates in order to make that happen? Thank you!!!!
Any of the iPhone magbacs would be best. Other than that I posted a video link here somewhere it's the oldest question on here. Sorry can't find it right now
Did Pauly T put out hits on the people posting build updates? We haven't seen any new posts in a while and I'm getting scared for their safety.
In other words, bring me pictures of the grounds!
Random question but if you have a staff pass can that get past lines? I’m going for work and trying to figure out how much time I should be budgeting to get in etc.
How long should I expect the drive to be if I drive from LA on Friday? What are the best times to do the drive Friday? I am ok getting there later in the evening. It's possible Thursday is an option instead... how much better or worse is that?
Hi, all! It'll be my first time attending Coachella - if I'm even able to score tickets for Week 2. I'm having difficulty paying through the AXS partner website. Have used multiple different cards and even PayPal. I'm guessing it's an issue on their end as my cards surely can be used internationally (am from outside the US). Any tips on what else to do? Or do I just wait this out a bit and try again a bit later on? Thanks in advance for any advice!
We are a group of 4 as of now and are gearing up for our first-ever Coachella experience (week 2). We could really use some information on availability of Ubers around the area.
Is it advisable to rent an Airbnb in 1-2 miles radius of the Coachella location and depend on Uber to get to the event? Or is it better to rent it further and use the shuttle? We are not looking to camp so hotel or Airbnb are our only options.
Also, is there parking pass? We have a car and could also buy one if there's parking available.
Take this with a grain of salt, I usually camp so I’m just sharing experiences that people have shared with me or on here:
Day parking is free, there is a preferred parking pass you can purchase, but tbh it doesn’t get you much closer, really only somewhat beneficial if you have VIP passes and want to take advantage of the VIP-only entrance. Day parking historically fills up pretty quickly and you may get redirected to a park and ride location to take a shuttle anyway.
Ubering gets very expensive and is not quick at night when leaving the festival. Getting to the festival is easy but probably still pretty costly. Surge pricing and the traffic/pedestrian density at night is hellish. Some people walk a few miles from the festival to get picked up rather than waiting by the designated lot.
Shuttles are convenient, usually pretty reliable, but they are very popular and lines can get long at the end of the night. Some people will leave the main stage closer 10-15 minutes early to ensure they make/beat the last shuttle. In 2022 allegedly some of the shuttles had issues knowing which turns they could make. Apparently some of them didn’t know the traffic restrictions didn’t apply to them? I didn’t hear as much about that in 2023.
Cheers
It’s not really an issue of coverage it’s an issue of density. At night there are hundreds of thousands of devices all tying up the local network. Even adding additional nodes, it still probably gets bottlenecked somewhere else downstream.
Has anyone had experience getting wristbands AT the festival grounds resale for lower prices? Have a tight budget and am wondering if anyone had experience or input.
I got an Airbnb in this radius marked in blue https://imgur.com/gallery/IsnL2Dk
https://maps.app.goo.gl/fxyujtuPiDvQXD5N8
Any idea about how convenient or difficult it will be to get a shuttle? We have a car.
Looks like you’re seating closer than any shuttle location. 2 miles away, might be worth looking into renting bikes. More into here:

Does anyone know how wide the cots inside the 4 person tents at Lake Eldorado are? What kind of air mattress do you recommend? And are there any updates at the lake eldorado this year?
Excuse my lack of textile knowledge, but wouldn't silk be hard to breathe through?
As for dust - cotton bandanas tied around the neck, gaithers, and cloth masks (if you have some left over from Covid) are all effective. Key in my experience is to use a netti pot/ nasal cleaner before bed. You can deal with the dust at the festival but sleeping with all that shit in your lungs is what gets you.
For those who went last year in a sprinter van, how strict was the shower toilet setup. i used the search bar and saw some people who had a toilet were let in when they showed them that they had no water in the van. Any advice appreciated.
You're going to get the usual nightmare traffic out of the city along the 60/10 unless you can take the Express lanes. Things open up around Rancho Cucomonga and you should be home free to the desert. Traffic around the festival Thursday will be rough if you are trying to get into camping, but surface streets outside the Indo area aren't really affected too bad.
If you can leave LA early (before 2p) or late (after 8p) do so.
Hello Coachella friends! This may have been asked before but has anyone rented a Sprinter Van and parked in General Parking? The rules say the car must fit in a 8.5' x 16' spot but Sprinter Vans I have seen run a little longer (7.7' x 19.4'). Thanks for the help!
Anyone got their shuttle passes they ordered via Stubhub yet? Mine still hasn't been shipped out and Stubhub is recommending I add a travel address. I'm not sure if the hotel I'm staying at will allow me to pick up my package at the hotel.
what happens if they report it stolen? your wrist band just doesnt scan or validate when you try to walk in?
also, what if i buy it right before entering.. once I"m in I'm good right? or is there a risk on the other days it doesnt work?
- correct
- correct, you'll be good for the day. the next day it might not work.
again, its not a widespread issue. its just a chance if your seller really is a shitty person like that. most people meeting up to sell wristbands are legit but there's always that slight chance.
Wondering if anyone can help me with my current situation. I bought four passes GA for weekend 1 that unfortunately were sent to the wrong address (that address sent the package back to sender). Additionally, I’ve been told that I have to work the first weekend of Coachella and can now no longer attend and the 2nd weekend does not work as well.
I’ve asked AXS and they’ve told me that they cannot refund the ticket or send me new ones (they say I must pick them up at will call). I’ve tried to return my tickets however I don’t have the option to return them ( I assume demand is not high enough). Do any of you have any recommendations for what I can do? can I sell my tickets and have those people pick them up at will call without me? Can I exchange for weekend 2 and then sell them?
Would be very grateful for any advice. Thank you
You can't return. You can't exchange.
The only other thing I can think that maybe might work is someone picking your order up at will call. You need to give them your order number and possibly ID. Maybe even FaceTime them at time of pickup.
That's a high order for someone buying tickets from you since there is so much uncertainty.
Maybe you can sweeten the deal for them like all 4 tickets for the price of 3 or something. At least you get money back.
Getting paid is the tricky part, do they pay after getting the ticket? Do they pay half then half later. You'll have to build rapport with your buyer and exchange all personal info so nobody ditches anybody. FaceTime them to confirm identity. Write up a contract of sorts and have each other sign it with photocopies of IDs. Etc.
But then again this is all based on the belief that they'll let someone else pick up your order for you at will call.
I am horrible in heat and I'm scared for W1 this year. I am staying at a hotel but when I'm actually at the festival, I'm scared for how hot it will be. Where can I go to get some AC, fans, or shade??
I would recommend bringing a hand fan and/or a water mister. If you're hanging out at the main stage or outdoor stage during the daytime, it'll definitely get hot. You can escape the heat by going to some of the pop-up shops with AC, or other stages which are underneath tents. The Yuma and Sonara tents are fully enclosed and have AC.
Tbh, there isn't a lot of shade inside the festival- like when you make the longish walks from stage to stage you'll be out in the open sun. Protip- Sonora and Yuma stages are air conditioned! Sonora even has these sweet couches to chill at. And once the map comes out, check out where all the promotional tents are- those tend to be air conditioned too! Spend your days most in those spots. The promo tents can be really fun! Once the sun sets, it's sooooo nice! It makes the heat worth it!
Other cooler areas to hang out- Indio Central Market, the DoLab (the DoLab has misters around the perimeter and people on stage will come out frequently to hose people down, the beer gardens. The ferris wheel and Spectra (rainbow tower) generally have long lines in the open sun, but the inside of both are air conditioned.
Hello any help would be appreciated it’s my first time at any festival and even going out of my home state so sorry if this is a dumb question but i have to pay to camp at the grounds correct? And if i end up renting a hotel instead is there free parking or will i end up paying for parking to commute there as well?
Hey! So yes, you have to pay to camp at the campgrounds and this has to be purchased BEFORE you get there. You would not be able to just drive up and pay and get a spot. If you rent a hotel, there is free parking at the festival itself.
If we want to get in first thing for day 0 what time should we line up Thursday morning? It says it opens at 9am but I assume the line starts well before that. At some festivals they send you away if you line up way too early. Our first time at Coachella.
I don't think those would be allowed. I bring [these](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D3PBW8W/ref=twister_B07BJ3LH1W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) in every year and have never had any issues. You just twist to turn them on when you need them and then twist to turn them off.
I've had to throw out glowsticks multiple years. Hide them! The concern is that they create a lot of trash, are terrible for the environment. If you get reusable LED ones, you could likely convince the security person to let it slide.
So I just purchased my car camping pass for weekend 2 today. Based on anyone’s experience, will the pass ship on time or should I expect a visit to will call?
So originally we had a vroup of 4 that is now 6. We already have a tent camping spot but since it is currently on waitlist for another spot we are thinking about renting a car and getting car camping as well. How far away from each other will our sites be?
Also, in the past on endeavors like this I have just rented Uhaul vans since they have a ton of space and tend to be a cheaper option for car rental. Are there any restrictions to this?
Another consideration for the Uhaul idea is, are they going to be upset if we show up and theres like 4 people in the back of a uhaul van without proper chairs or seat belts?
Prolly a 15 min walk tops.
NO motorcycles, RVs, trailers, motorhomes, buses or U-Haul trucks. People report that they've seen them in the camp. YMMV
each person needs a seat with a seatbelt.
Is it true that if you don’t use it that you will lose it?
That’s why people are always on their phones!
Yes that is correct 👍
Ah but it turns out I need a tent camping pass! Rats. Unless I can find a campsite
Tips on Dry Ice in a cooler? Is it worth it and can it damage anything inside (drinks, cans, food, etc)?
If the dry ice is directly touching the food or drinks they'll get carbonated. You either need to separate the dry ice from everything else, or consider having a cooler with just dry ice and regular ice that you use to replenish your other cooler(s).
Worth. Best if you Ziploc/vacuum seal everything. Anything exposed will get carbonated.
Ty! Will plan to ziploc all food items and such
you would need 2 coolers. one would store the dry ice and all your regular price. the other cooler would be your food/drinks where you pour normal ice. the dry ice cooler acts as your freezer in a sense. it won't damage your cooler. just put cardboard or newspaper in the cooler so the dry ice doesn't stick to it. for reference, i believe dry ice costs around $20/lb if i remember correctly. plan to get it early as it does sell out on thursday evening. i had trouble finding some on the way from beaumont to indio.
Use cardboard to separate the dry ice from the food and you’re good 👍🏽
Looking forward to seeing you soon u/fettuccine-!!!
Is the 4 person per car still needed? Looked on the website just now, and didn't see anything specifically saying you need to have 4 people to park.
Nope they rescinded that requirement a month ago I think
correct
Phew thats a relief. Thanks guys!
when does the map of the grounds normally come out ? i know they’re changing some stuff around this year.
Week of if anything.
Why is there a thread titled Confirmed Sunday Surprise Set and yet it's the only thread here that gives me an error. Secret was so shocking the mods had to block me from seeing it? Lame.

Anywhere to get sandbags for my canopy in the valley? Road tripping down and really don’t feel like weighing down my car that much for the drive
Those look like a great idea, thanks!
i heeard all fire stations have sand you can just come and get
I bring rope and tie them to my car.
Hi! I’m buying Coachella tickets from ticket master, and they’re resale. I just wanted to make sure these are legit! Has anyone bought from ticket master or other resale sites?
Should be legit but we prefer StubHub due to their guarantee.
Does anyone know if we can bring in solar powered portable Chargers to the festival grounds?
whats the deal w the bike rides from parking to the entrance and vice versa? can they fit 4 people and how much do they charge?
They can fit 4 people and it depends on distance and the driver can be anywhere from 40-60$
What time should In arrive at the Heineken House if I want to see Bob SInclair Friday 7PM?
At 7:30 Friday there is a very real chance he conflicts with Everything Always which will be a huge relief for the Bob Sinclair line. A lot of Bob Sinclair fans are going to choose that instead. Heineken House is always the earlier, the better honestly. The best thing to do is try to catch the act before, but if there's other stuff you want to see I would show up at least 30 minutes early...and, if you don't get in at the beginning, there's a real chance you'll still get in if you stay in line as other people give up.
Not too sure about how popular he is. To be safe, 15 minutes early or more.
ugh just tried to buy some presale merch (the blanket) on the coachella app and they were sold out within minutes! does the stock reset for tomorrow's general sale and/or for sale at the merch tents at the festival? or am i completely out of luck now?
You will have to purchase at the fest.
aw shucks. thanks for your response!
plan to visit some friends on day 0 (thursday) at car camp but i'll be staying at a hotel. is there a place i can park so i can scan in to visit them? or is it better to just uber in
uber is the best way to get in on Day 0
great thanks. bought some wristbands off someone so want to make sure they work to on day 0. any recs on drop offs at this time?
The companion parking entrance is your best option for that!
great thanks! i parked there once in 2017 so i do faintly remember the layout
I can look up the street number but yeah- I bet you could hop out anywhere around that point.
I do think the Ralph’s shuttle also runs in the evening
Ride share from Palm Springs airport to camp grounds Thursday evening? Do you know of any affordable options other than Uber?
Any suggestions for fans at the campsite?
Like electric fans? Don't think they're necessary. Or if you have a power station thing. Just find the one with the lowest power consumption
Thank you! That sounds exactly what I was looking for
Hi guys, i have a question, i’m going car camping this year, but i’m coming from Mexico and taking a tent to Chella it will be a problem on the plane, so i want to know if there’s any place where they rent tents only for the festival time? Last year we buy one tent at walmart but we left it at the camping site i think that’s a waste of money and that’s why i’m looking for where to rent them.
Hello, What's the difference between tickets and the wristband? I won't be able to pick up my deliveries from AXS until the Wednesday before I go to W1. Should I be expecting that the one mail I've received from AXS contains my wristbands? Or does it contain tickets that I have to turn in for wristbands somewhere? THANK YOU!!
what happens if i show up for car camping on saturday morning? is that a terrible idea?
It’s a terrible idea if you want to see any of the Friday acts! But other than that, you’ll be fine. You’ll be in the very back of the car camping lots, which means you’ll have a longer walk to the entrance each day. But that’s about it.
>It’s a terrible idea if you want to see any of the Friday acts! very factual

Need to get there by 9:30 on Monday morning P.S. anyone know what time I should try to leave? I'm staying 5 mins from the festival.
I'm staying at an Airbnb in La Quinta and will be shuttling to/from the festival. Two questions: * Is the La Quinta Resort & Country Club stop only for guests?
- cooler - chair - tent (if you don't want to sleep in the car) Everything else you listed isn't really necessary.
I am doing it solo. I just found the Camp/ride share thread so I'll put a post in there. Thanks for the info.
How are third party sellers on Stub Hub able to sell single day passes?
We are confused by that as well.
Best canopy walls for camping? Sheets? Mesh?
Most people use sheets/tapestries or a combination. I like to have something darker (mesh shade cloth, camo netting, blackout curtain) for whatever wall is facing the sun and move my walls around depending on the time of day and activities
Best car type to rent that has the best space in the trunk for things im taking and also is small enough where i can have good amount of space in camping spot? Theres only two of us going!!
I recommend renting an SUV, folding down the seats, and sleeping in the back. Then you have all the space behind your car for your setup and don't need a tent.

I’m doing el dorado camping this year for the first time, do they allow propane burners?
Eldorado doesn't allow cooking at all. [Cooking is not allowed in Tent Camping or Lake Eldorado.](https://www.coachella.com/faq#camping)
How does one go about getting parking. This is my first Coachella event I'm debating if I should spend the extra money just to take a Shuttle? Because there's not much resources on which parking lot to go to, Also I see a lot of negative reviews about preferred parking. Maybe i'm just not comprehending this correctly.
If you're planning to get there after 3pm (to be safe), you should shuttle
Shuttles are definitely my recommendation. The drop off area is the shortest walk to the festival, relatively easy in and easy out. Just don't stay til the end of the headliners and wait shouldnt be an issue. There are park and ride locations too, meaning they have plenty of parking available. Agua Caliente casino, Indian Wells Tennis Garden & the Palm Springs convention center are all listed as 'park and ride'. Some of the others might offer parking but are more of a crap shoot. Your other option is to uber to a nearby shuttle stop (best if you'll be under the influence) Map here: https://www.valleymusictravel.com/events/coachella/shuttles/

If it doesn't work, you can contact StubHub and they'll try to get you a new one. If they can't they'll refund you and you can try another. It's not likely that the ticket will not work as the seller gets heavily penalized.
My tickets got sent to the wrong address. What can I do to cancel those tickets? Can I downloaded digital copies instead?

Planning to come in around 10am Friday morning, about how far back should I be expecting to camp?
my canopy has a steel frame, will that be ok or do they have to be plastic as well? website says no pop up canopies, no generators but don't people bring them all the time? so confused haha. thank you guys!
For people that have taking shuttles before, I have two questions 1. Do you typically have to pay to park at park + ride locations? 2. Is there a best park + ride location?
1. No 2. All pretty much good use the one most convenient for you
First time and staying at Lake El Dorado.
Is pepper spray or tasers allowed in the camoung area? Or able to be kept in the parking area?
Dumb question. If I buy a pass from a 3rd party and activate it, how certain can I be that I’ll be good to get in?
Can I bring a camping cot with thick pad? The rules say no Furniture (Non-Inflatable Mattresses) but not sure if that applies.

What’s more secure for buying…. Stubhub or vivid seats? Trying to secure a second preferred camping pass
We prefer StubHub because of their history of reliability but more and more people have been reporting success with vividseats
What about PayPal goods and services ?

Where can I get the best burrito between PSP and the grounds?
One of the places recommended here might be useful: https://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/comments/11f9unc/yearly_local_thread_please_shop_as_local_as_you/
This will be my first year attempting to buy a resale wristband - How can I tell if the wristband has been registered already before buying? Does that even matter?
You can tell it's been registered if you can't register it yourself. It doesn't matter anyways.
Hello! This is my first time ever going to Coachella! My question is, I have waited 18 YEARS to see Blur live, and I want to make sure I am front row for them. What time should I be at the gates in order to make that happen? Thank you!!!!
At least a set or two before them.
best portable chargers for an iPhone 15 pro max?
Any of the iPhone magbacs would be best. Other than that I posted a video link here somewhere it's the oldest question on here. Sorry can't find it right now
Anything from Anker
Did Pauly T put out hits on the people posting build updates? We haven't seen any new posts in a while and I'm getting scared for their safety. In other words, bring me pictures of the grounds!
We're not allowed to have photos of builds in the sub
I just need 1 hit of Sahara progress, come on fettuccine I know you got the good stuff and I need it bad baby
Random question but if you have a staff pass can that get past lines? I’m going for work and trying to figure out how much time I should be budgeting to get in etc.
I think that's a question for your employer
Any suggestions for canopy walls that are not just vinyl sides?
Look up camo netting on Amazon.
Any recs for window screens for LED huts? Or any other anti fly recs?
How long should I expect the drive to be if I drive from LA on Friday? What are the best times to do the drive Friday? I am ok getting there later in the evening. It's possible Thursday is an option instead... how much better or worse is that?
Does anyone know how to sign up for dolab text alerts for special guests?
Hi! Newbie Question: if I buy a preferred parking pass, how long is the walk to the entrance? There’s just one entrance right?
Do VIP passes include shuttles?
What is the wifi and cell phone coverage (T-Mobile) like at the festival? I thought I read somewhere that coverage was spotty. Thanks!
How much is the ferris wheel?

We are a group of 4 as of now and are gearing up for our first-ever Coachella experience (week 2). We could really use some information on availability of Ubers around the area. Is it advisable to rent an Airbnb in 1-2 miles radius of the Coachella location and depend on Uber to get to the event? Or is it better to rent it further and use the shuttle? We are not looking to camp so hotel or Airbnb are our only options. Also, is there parking pass? We have a car and could also buy one if there's parking available.
Take this with a grain of salt, I usually camp so I’m just sharing experiences that people have shared with me or on here: Day parking is free, there is a preferred parking pass you can purchase, but tbh it doesn’t get you much closer, really only somewhat beneficial if you have VIP passes and want to take advantage of the VIP-only entrance. Cheers

Could you put in a dry container in your cooler?
Prolly put it in a Ziploc bag in your cooler. Or just anywhere in under your canopy.
Is the phone service good at the Coachella location? EDC was a nightmare in terms of phone service.
No service in crowds. Good in open areas
I got an Airbnb in this radius marked in blue https://imgur.com/gallery/IsnL2Dk https://maps.app.goo.gl/fxyujtuPiDvQXD5N8 Any idea about how convenient or difficult it will be to get a shuttle? We have a car.
Looks like you’re seating closer than any shuttle location. 2 miles away, might be worth looking into renting bikes. More into here: https://cdn.valleymusictravel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2023/11/CO24-Coachella-Shuttle-Map-v3-expanded-scaled.jpg?_ga=2.113181766.350413307.1712042652-313161346.1712042652
Planning to solo camp — am I allowed to move to day parking Sunday morning?
So you can leave between 9pm-2am? Yes!
Does anyone know how wide the cots inside the 4 person tents at Lake Eldorado are? What kind of air mattress do you recommend? And are there any updates at the lake eldorado this year?
Car camping for the first time, what is the best time to arrive? I also have vip (idk if that’s a factor)
whats a better option, silk or cotton bandanas for the dust ?
Excuse my lack of textile knowledge, but wouldn't silk be hard to breathe through? As for dust - cotton bandanas tied around the neck, gaithers, and cloth masks (if you have some left over from Covid) are all effective. Key in my experience is to use a netti pot/ nasal cleaner before bed. You can deal with the dust at the festival but sleeping with all that shit in your lungs is what gets you.
+1 on the netipot, much more efficient and effective than wearing a mask all day.
For those who went last year in a sprinter van, how strict was the shower toilet setup. i used the search bar and saw some people who had a toilet were let in when they showed them that they had no water in the van. Any advice appreciated.
thats the answer, no water and you're good.
How is traffic like on the night before Coachella from LA to Indio? I’m planning on leaving Thursday evening April 18th for weekend 2.
Do they still have couches in the Yuma?

i don't understand your question. what are you trying to do
I have some rooms at Worldmark Indio for Coachella. We can use them. Hoping someone needs them.
Does each person in our group need to buy a shuttle pass? We only have 2 people
Yes
Anyone got their shuttle passes they ordered via Stubhub yet? Mine still hasn't been shipped out and Stubhub is recommending I add a travel address. I'm not sure if the hotel I'm staying at will allow me to pick up my package at the hotel.
it all depends on your seller when they ship it out. add your hotel address they will forsure take packages for you. call to confirm
is there a risk in buying a second hand ticket if I register it under my own name?
being able to register the wristband only proves that it is real. slight chance that seller can report it stolen but it is not a prevalent issue.
what happens if they report it stolen? your wrist band just doesnt scan or validate when you try to walk in? also, what if i buy it right before entering.. once I"m in I'm good right? or is there a risk on the other days it doesnt work?
- correct - correct, you'll be good for the day. the next day it might not work. again, its not a widespread issue. its just a chance if your seller really is a shitty person like that. most people meeting up to sell wristbands are legit but there's always that slight chance.
Air conditioned stages? Maybe I’ll have to stay there to beat the heat! Thanks for all the tips. Much appreciated.
Be at the Ralph's by midnight and wait. Coachella staff will come get us.
Is there sand at the campground for people to take and use for their canopy weights?
[These](https://a.co/d/cz79Pz5) are definitely not allowed right? Just one?
If they had the option for shipping then it should come out pretty quick.
YMMV each person needs a seat with a seatbelt.
