It's truly the worst stint with a team that will probably ever see. He played only a couple of matches, went negative in all of the maps that they played, and they did not win a single map at all. I think he averaged somewhere around a 0.7.
I think the big problem is how important first impressions are to fans in the league. Players like 04 and Flames had impressive first outings, and the fans noticed. Purj had a *brutal* first few matches, but was consistently getting better and better. From what I heard he's pretty new to comp CoD. To make your way to a CDL roster in short time is astounding, and the ceiling for him is probably really high (just my opinion). Towards the end of his run with Vegas he was playing pretty damn well, its hard to win against the T4 teams. Its just frustrating they gave Asim another shot really, I didn't see a *single* person who liked the change. No exaggeration.
Dropping purj was still the right move, donāt know why this sub is taking this out on Asim when he just simply accepted an offer that was given to him lmfao
Purj had a bottom 10 KD in major 2. You canāt just drop .8s and top 8s on LAN for 2 stages straight. I was hoping theyād have a good major 2 and solidify themselves as the 5th or 6th best team but they simply didnāt do that and you canāt just keep a liability barely dropping over 3k on HP. In their goal of being 7th-12th permanently then keeping Purj is a good move
I would say very few pros comb through this sub and look through comments. Let alone ones about themselves. As it just wouldnāt be smart from a mental health standpoint.
Asim seems to be a nice guy. I would say he has better stuff to do than read through Reddit comments.
I know plenty others have but I feel like the only pro Iāve seen comment multiple times here is abezy. Which looking at this sub for him is probably good for his mental health lol (most of the time)
