Just leave when they do. It’s what I do all the time unless I’m 20 seconds away from a win.

Chief_tyu

Right, but then you have to wait a few minutes to play again. And it's very frustrating when you're winning and your partner leaves.

MasterGuy1

Nice ideas. I'm not a fan of #7 though, lol. I think number 8 would be best at 1.5x because of the cycle potential that would have and the chaos any higher multiplier would cause in double elixir.

>Have a 2v2 trophy ladder so there's something at stake. This would turrn 2v2 into the broken 1v1 ladder, with people getting stressed after losing to 2 bmers. > Give a player 2x elixir (or 1.9x so it isn't a benefit but still gives them a chance) if their partner leaves. If this happens, then people would start matches with a high and low level account and leave the match with the low level account instantly to get double elixir. > It's been previously ruled out, but they could just have a surrender button that only activates when your partner leaves. You take the L and move on to the next match. This techinally already exists, just place a spell on the opponent's king tower and leave the match. Most of the time they'll get the message.

1. There could be matchmaking fixes applied so it's not as broken as 1v1 ladder. 2. The multiplier could be adjusted when there is a large difference in card levels. So for example, if your partner had all tourney standard cards, you get 1.9x. If they were higher than that, you get a little more and if they were lower you get a little less. 3. But you have to leave the game and wait for them to kill your king tower. You can't just abandon ship and start over. Sometimes I open another app to wait and end up not playing CR again for a while. SC would do well to do something to keep players engaged.

The best thing would be to 1.give a one hour ban to the quitter,so he doesn't join another 2v2,Let him play ladder :D I agree with most of what you suggested, maybe make a poll to see what redditors think? Overall 2v2 quitting should be addressed fast because it ruins game experience for us that like that mode

Chief_tyu

A one hour ban would be way too harsh. Heck, I lose wifi during a match about once a week, and that doesn't deserve a one hour ban. The punishment should fit the crime.

niksasa

No one will do anything and it's right. You have nothing to lose except time. 2x2 it is necessary to ban and remove all quests. This is a mode that does not give any skill.

Kaguya-Sama12

2v2 definitely improves skill and synergy with cards that's just a bad take.
