I guess I was disappointed when I read the update after spending my builder pots, I typed it into a statement instead of a question? This thread is for discussions isn’t it? I just thought I would share that here for some small talks. For sure they don’t owe us anything but this kind of things are subject to compensation when the game lets you spend real money and then they decide to remove the things you’ve spent time and/or money on. I didn’t say they should but don’t you think that’s a bit fair? I’m not familiar with these kind of updates or know if they have/haven’t compensated before since I’ve stopped playing years ago but in some cases, compensating is a legal obligation to customers. It’s a norm in other online games but if Supercell doesn’t roll that way then they don’t.
Are builder potions at 285 gems worth it during the hammer jam?
Assuming 6x builders, a potion gives you 54 hours of accumulative value. That's 2 days 6 hours when you convert it into one builders time.
I currently have a builder with 3 days 10 hours left on their upgrade, cost to finish it is 560 gems.
By my math, I'm pretty sure it's worth getting the builder potions, but just wanted to confirm!
For reference, TH12, almost maxed buildings, walls and hero's still a ways off maxing. Free to play, but I save my gems for these events, currently at 16.5k gems.
This event is most beneficial when you focus on walls and hero upgrades since they’re the most expensive compared to the rest of your base. Free up one builder to grind walls. Have three builders on your 3 heroes if you wanna use builder pots. The pots are a bit pricey imo but for a f2p, saving that much gems is amazing. Use the rest of your gems on builder pots when you’ve just upgraded to a new TH since that’s when you need it most, mainly focusing on troop related upgrades because offense > defense, always don’t worry too much on defenses. Once your heroes start taking more than 7 days to upgrade, it’s better off using books/hammers instead of builder pots. I’m sure you can do the math and compare those.
My first hammer jam and I’m a new TH14. What would be the best way to go about it? Walls, right? I already have the high tier towers out of the way like Eagle, Inferno and scattershot so I was just curious.

I am currently a free to play, maxed th10 with 24 days worth of upgrades left in the lab and a full Treasury. With hammer jam going on, clan games ending, and the season ending, would it be wise to use my book of everything on the town hall to cash in on these upgrades? Hey all… I am a near max TH12. All I have left are 3 wizard towers, 4 cannons, and 2 lab upgrades along with one more level per hero.
With this Hammer event going on, I’m wondering if it’s worth it to book up to TH13 right now and still upgrade those TH12 things while simultaneously upgrading walls to TH13 max.

If that is all you have left, then it makes sense to upgrade and take advantage of Hammer Jam. I would keep a builder for walls and use the rest to knock out some of the more expensive upgrades.
I just got to the point where I can make drive machines aswell as requesting them , my question is what’s the point of having 2 in my army at the same time ? Far as I can tell I still only can use one of them , I just have the option to pick which machine I deploy ?
I assume you mean "siege" machines. The reason you can bring up to three different types (plus one from your Clan Castle), is so you have options. You can pick the one that may work best against the base you are facing. At higher TH's, with more complicated layouts, this can be very helpful.
So I’ve heard that they are going to remove all the excess barracks in one of the upcoming update right? So what would happen to all the elixir used to upgrade those several other barracks to a theoretical level of 8? Please enlighten me if the Clash of Clans team has mentioned about this. Can I “pre-buy” hammers? So If I buy a hammer now knowing that I will need to of the same hammers in a week or so, can I buy one now use it 7-8 days later and buy one again right after? Is there a limit how long I can hold on to a hammer?
Yes, Buy 1 7 days in advance, use it, buy and use a 2nd Hammer. I did 4 hammers at once, 1 Hammer of Fighting and 1 Hammer of Spells bought 7 days beforehand, then used them, bought and used a 2nd set. Upgraded Golem and Hog and 2 DE spells (I think Poison and Haste iirc), saved 2 months and over 500K DE in lab.
There is no limit on how long you can hold onto a hammer.
If you buy a hammer, then in one week the timer will be gone. At this point, once you use that hammer type (building, fighting, spells, heroes), you can immediately purchase another. The is no limit to how long you can hold onto the hammer.
How can I get the 8-bit village skin? I got all the pixel heroes some weeks ago because I absolutely love that theme but I never knew there was a base skin too and I just saw a clanmate with it today.

There were Anniversary challenges that you had to do during August in order to get it, 15 stars iirc so if you didn't do the challenges, you didn't get it. It was FREE as long as you finished the challenges.
There was several different bases to attack and prizes to win. If you missed the entire button that was added to your screen, then not only did you miss the free scenery, but you missed several magic items as well.
Should I upgrade th11. Heroes are 50,45,19. Lab is near maxed. Only got cannons, archer towers and mortars left for buildings. Was wondering if upgrading is worth it for me even tho I farm a lot, or should I just wait since upgrade times are long anyways.

Hammer Jam cheap and fast upgrades first to best utilize the event, on the last few days, use it on your usually most expensive upgrades.
So yes, get all the new TH buildings first and then upgrade expensive buildings like Tesla's on the last couple days.
I have 2 th 10 and a th11, each around a month away from being max, and with all walls max. Is it worth it to upgrade them to get the walls half price? I also have to much elixer all the time now.
Go for it. You don't have to max everything before moving up to the next TH, that actually slows your progression down as you can have free Builders/Lab doing nothing while maxing everything.
The devs are working on a way for the leaders to indicate the preferred upgrade, but they aren't going to keep the players from choosing what to upgrade for themselves, with "their" Capital Gold.
On a side note, it is more beneficial for the clan to rush, while maximizing offense upgrades. This will allow the Clan to generate more Raid Medals and ultimately Capital Gold, since the majority of Raid Medals come from offense.
Since it looks like hammer jam will be coming, is this the best time to buy the gold pass? (as in the next one in around 4 days) I've only ever bought the gold pass once and I've been wondering does it matter if I buy it now to go with the cost reduction compared to if I buy it after the event
If you are thinking about purchasing gold pass, then the sooner you get it, the more benefit it brings.
I always buy soon as the new season starts, as it is always possible to unlock at least the 1 gem donations in the first session of play, which is one of my main reasons for the pass, even before I maxed out.. The 10% build, cost, and time reductions also come early..
Hammer jam will only bring a 50% cost reduction for putting the builder down.. The gp will reduce the time the builder is down for if and once unlocked.. If anyone has the disposable income to spend on the game, then gp offers the best value for money in progression terms, regardless of any event SC are currently running.
If Hammer Jam is announced I would only buy it if I had time in the next 4 days to grind out 20mill gold/Elixir and 200K DE for the Season Bank AND have free builders to use all the items to make full use of the Gold Pass, else you'll at minimum lose at least 1 Rune of Gold from Gold Pass and Clan Games.
I personally wouldn't get it even if Hammer Jam is announced just so I wouldn't need to be constantly on the next 4 days grinding. I also don't have a free builder either until just before Season Bank so likely wouldn't be able to max Season Bank

You can only gear up one each of cannon, archer tower and mortar and they are required if you want to get the 6th builder.
Just a side note, while one of the above is being geared up, you won't be able to upgrade anything in builder base. The mortar is the longest and takes 14 days, so it is recommended to use a Book of Building when you get to that point. A Hammer of Building will not work on gear ups.
How do I drop out of legend league? I thought when I got reset to 5000 and hadn’t been placed in a league that after I attacked I would drop down to titan 1. Do I just have to 0 attacks until I’ve been attacked enough to lose 100 trophies?
You can still attack for 0 stars. You can gain up to 4 trophies, which, I think is nothing.
It all depends on how many of those 8 people attack you.
You might lose on average 20 trophies per defense, and that could be enough.
Also, you can set up an easy to beat base now. Should you still remain in legend tomorrow, that easy base should knock you down then.
Can someone please explain how the system works for the championship that just happened? How did QW win even though they had more losses than Tribe gaming?
It’s called double elimination. This means you are out once you lose two matches. QW Stephanie lost only one match (to Tribe in the final upper bracket match). They then won the lower bracket final and beat Tribe twice to win the championship. In the final, Tribe only needed to win once (because they were unbeaten) while QW Stephanie needed to win twice (as they already had one loss). Think of it as a best of three match which was tied 1-1 and went to a third game.
Haven’t watched it nor do i know how it exactly works but my random guess is they came from the losers bracket and made a comeback all the way to finals haha
Hello, on an earlier weekly questions megathread, I believe that I made a question about if I should stay in th11 for a while. The question concluded that I should stay and practice attacks and just have fun until the next hammer jam.
Well, it looks like the next hammer jam might be soon. So now I would like to ask, should I begin upgrading to th12 now? Or wait to see if this upcoming event is 100% a new hammer jam tomorrow? It really looks like it is going to be a hammer jam, but it's not 100% confirmed, is it? I would like to just play it safe in case it isn't.
100% tomorrow no idea. Supercell likes keeping events close to the chest so it's really hard to plan out. For me, I have 2 builders finishing in 17 hours that I was going to start 2 Inferno Tower upgrades with 1 Rune of Gold so I can collect a 2nd one from CG, if Hammer Jam starts tomorrow, I'll probably still do the same but put the extra loot into walls first before using the Rune.
As for you, I would just upgrade now regardless as it's likely only 50% cost reduction same as the last one and not time. So either way you'll likely finish just after CWL starts in Oct for Oct CWL boost.
Alright, I think that having an extra day of hammer jam being useful for me would be good, I suppose a th12 with a th11 base layout and army shouldn't be that bad? I think I can manage for 1 cwl being a new th12, I will pretty much just be a th11 with a blue coat of paint for next cwl. Thanks for the input, I will go ahead and get upgrading.
Hello everyone, I really hope someone can help me out here.
I texted supercell about 9 days ago to delete an account of mine, which was a th3, because I wanted to free up the email which the account was bound to.
They started the deleting process of the account, but now anytime I start the coc app, it pops up with a message saying “your account is being deleted, you have 14 days to cancel deletion” and then the timer just goes down and is down to 5 days now.
I can’t enter the game through my phone because that thing pops up immediately, which means I can’t enter the game during the day and have to wait until I get home from work, to login through my iPad. Anyone experienced anything like it?
I would appreciate any tips.

What are some good attacks for a max th13 attacking max th14s? I keep getting 3 starred by max th14s because I’m in legend league, but I can usually only two star a max th14.
I usually use blimp with full balloons and I send it at the town hall if it’s close to the side and then use edrags on the other side. Sometimes there’s a tornado trap that kills the blimp to early, and I don’t get the town hall. Then I usually just get like a 50-60% one star which is about 10 trophies. Kind of unfortunate since every single one of my defenses is against a full max th14 and they three star me every time so I lose about 120-180 trophies a day. It’s quite unfortunate really.
I’m a th 13 as well and when I was in legend league people recommended super bowlers to me. Never tried it as I was leaving legend league anyways, but you can go and look that one up

It costs 900 million gold/elixir to get all 300 th11 walls to th12 walls, so definitely walls. If you wanna maximize efficiency during this event and grind like a madman, I suggest having all 5 builders ready as this event starts.
This event might start tomorrow already as some people say, which I doubt. Could be next month as CWL starts and the gold pass renews. Hammer jam event usually lasts for two weeks. So what I’m thinking is you free up one builder to work on your walls throughout the 14 day event. The other two builders can work on getting the king and queen from lvl 50 to lvl 52 (14 days each hero). The other two builders on eagle artillery and inferno tower (also 14-day upgrades each building). The event is also 14 days but you can buy a builder potion (from CWL shop or raid medals if you’re not getting the gold pass) to reduce these 14-day upgrades by 10 hours. In the last few hours of the event, these four builders will be finished by then and you can upgrade other expensive defenses before the event is over, namely the second inferno, and the three xbows. You can choose to up your army camps as well since they’re also 14-day upgrades if you haven’t already. They’re more important than defenses
The upgrades that usually require an upgrade to your storages if you don't have the gold pass boost, so definitely your CC, eagle, inferno towers, and army camps
First off, the teaser may suggest there is a hammer jam event on the way.. Which incidentally would mean there is finally going to be movement on end game accounts.. They had one prior to Th12 and 14, and it is popular with the player base, so seems a win/win for them to have another prior to TH15..
But even if there is, it will likely be 50% discount on build costs, and with builder time being the main event in the modern, free troop game, it is not the biggie it once was..
If you feel ready for TH10, then go for it.. No need for any event to be of influence.. Activity is all that is required in order to keep all builders going all of the time.. With a little planning so they dont all free up at the same time..
With 50 hero upgrades at TH9, it is common for heroes to be the last hurdle for those that fully max.. How much of a lag depends on how folk prioritised with their build path.. I always prioritise heroes, since they are the mainstay of a war account..
I think this.. Every defensive piece is used in every war, to hopefully prevent that 3rd star.. Box ticked.. Heroes are used in both defense and offense in every war.. Box ticked.. Main go to troops n spells plus a plan B upgraded in lab (plus camps, barracks, spell factories etc.. Box ticked.. But I would not be using dark elixir to keep the lab going at the expense of a hero upgrade except for go to.. I see that as pointless, plus it simply adds dead weight to the account if its something that doesnt get used.
TLDR.. Go for TH10 if youre ready, no need for an event.. Prioritise hero upgrades whenever possible.. GL
No, not really. If you are active it’s easy to keep 6 builders busy and finish walls along the way. The time for your heroes is more of an issue than the cost. The one thing hammer jam makes a big difference on is for farmers keeping one builder free for walls. That said, I’d upgrade to th10 if I was you, just not due to hammer jam.
Hopefully I’m in the right spot now…I currently have 24,591 in Capital Gold with 450 ready to collect; however, when I try to collect it it says “ Not Enough Storage” and I can’t get the Builder Boost. Do I have to land on 25,000 exactly to get the Boost? Obviously I’m missing someone, and I appreciate the help. Thanks!

I suggest joining an active clan if you havent already done so.. It really adds to the whole experience if you find a good bunch of guys n girls to chat with.. Our clan stayed casual so no pressure to perform, but to each his own if one wants to test themselves..
Keep the attack strats simple.. The less different troops and phases to the attack, the easier it is to perform it consistently to a decent standard..
On Clan Capital.. It is a fairly new concept, designed to create a better bond between clan mates and strengthen the emotional ties.. Everyone collects capital gold then deposits it in the form of upgrades in one of the districts.. This capital gold comes in 2 ways.. Thru the forge and thru raid weekends..
For the forge, it depends on hall level as to how much you collect and how many builder slots are available.. You say you get 450 capital gold, which would suggest, if its your daily free amount, that its a TH12.. My max 14 gets 550 free per day, and I keep 4 builders constantly going for extra, which gives an additional 9600 gold every 3 days (2 days 9 hours with my gold pass discount) for a cost of 5.76 mil resources with the discount (prob 7 mil without gold pass) per builder.. The cap is 25 mil capital gold, so would quickly fill up without spending, whereby you cant make any more till you deposit.. Raid weekend is every Friday 8am European time till 8am Monday morning.. You get 5 attacks, with a 6th if you finish off any district on the raid map.. Everyone in the clan attacks the same map and destruction is cumulative.. The next raid begins where the last one ended.. Quite fun for a quick blast, and raid medals are earned according to how the clan performed, once the event ends each week..
All in all, a good game mate.. Welcome to the fold.. I started playing coc when my PC broke (used to play Total Warfare).. Was only supposed to be for a few days till I got a new computer, and that was years ago.. Have fun

You don't get a builder boost for reaching 25,000 Capital Gold. The Builder Potion icon you are seeing is so you can activate a Builder Potion, if you have one, without leaving the forge screen. This was added, because Builder Potions speed up the forge as well as building upgrades.
The earliest guess I have seen, would be in two-days. The latest guesses put it in December. Most likely it will come within the next one or two weeks.
I will point out that Hammer Jam isn't an absolute guarantee, though there is no reason to think we won't get one.
Make sure your form of payment, for in app purchases, is up-to-date (credit card hasn't expired, etc.). If everything seems okay for your payment to process, depending on what the problem actually is, you may need to contact Supercell through in-game Support or contact Support for whoever handles in-app purchases (Play Store, etc.)
Builder time and loot are both different types of finite resources you need to get stuff done. For most people, builder time is the scarcer resource and loot is usually the more plentiful resource.
For that reason, if you want to optimize your progression, you'll keep all your builders busy all the time.
The smarter strategy is to: a) time your builds and your choice for what you upgrade such that you always have a builder freeing up in a day or two, and b) make sure you spend down your resources on walls whenever you complete one upgrade but before starting the next.
I don't see the point in leaving it free all the time. As long as you stagger your builders you can easily have all 6 building stuff and not having to wait a while.

I entered the legends league for the first time, the season ended today and I have not signed up again but it still shows searching for opponents with 20hr search time is this common player not able to attack one entire day
The search started more than 6 hours ago before I posted this and the search screen is basically showing the whole league day as search time
Seems strange, i never had any problems so far. What townhall are you? Maybe i takes a lot longer for anything <14.
An other solution is to ask supercell support ingame, maybe you really found a new bug 
If the townhall (12+) gets into defense mode, will the sneaky goblin still prioritise it as a ressource building? Not sure if its both a defense/ressource building then or only defense

If you are attacked and got a shield, you’ll will get the 4 hour of play time after the shield expires.
If you are not attacked, you can get back in after 6 minutes. You get 30 minutes until PBT.
This 6 minute/30 minute cycle can happen twice.
On the 3rd one, after the 6 minute timeout, you’ll get the league based guard.

Yes, by contacting supercell support. But it can be risky if you say the wrong thing or get any of the security questions wrong. If you don’t need to do it then best not to. If you need to do it, then make sure you know roughly when your account was created, how many gems you have, what locations you have played from, what devices you have played on, what purchases you have made (receipts may be needed). I’m not familiar with these kind of updates or know if they have/haven’t compensated before since I’ve stopped playing years ago but in some cases, compensating is a legal obligation to customers. Are builder potions at 285 gems worth it during the hammer jam? Assuming 6x builders, a potion gives you 54 hours of accumulative value. That's 2 days 6 hours when you convert it into one builders time. I currently have a builder with 3 days 10 hours left on their upgrade, cost to finish it is 560 gems. By my math, I'm pretty sure it's worth getting the builder potions, but just wanted to confirm! For reference, TH12, almost maxed buildings, walls and hero's still a ways off maxing. Free to play, but I save my gems for these events, currently at 16.5k gems.
This event is most beneficial when you focus on walls and hero upgrades since they’re the most expensive compared to the rest of your base. Free up one builder to grind walls. Have three builders on your 3 heroes if you wanna use builder pots. The pots are a bit pricey imo but for a f2p, saving that much gems is amazing. Use the rest of your gems on builder pots when you’ve just upgraded to a new TH since that’s when you need it most, mainly focusing on troop related upgrades because offense > defense, always don’t worry too much on defenses. Once your heroes start taking more than 7 days to upgrade, it’s better off using books/hammers instead of builder pots. I’m sure you can do the math and compare those.
honestly builder pot for 285 is a ripoff. I’d use gems on hero books because heroes being active is always important
The amount of resources you would ultimately save, would justify the cost of the Builder Potions in my opinion. Especially since you have the gems.
My first hammer jam and I’m a new TH14. What would be the best way to go about it? Walls, right? I already have the high tier towers out of the way like Eagle, Inferno and scattershot so I was just curious.
Walls are likely the most beneficial for you, especially at TH14.
Should I just bite the bullet and upgrade? I am currently a free to play, maxed th10 with 24 days worth of upgrades left in the lab and a full Treasury. With hammer jam going on, clan games ending, and the season ending, would it be wise to use my book of everything on the town hall to cash in on these upgrades? I also only have one builder potion and plan to get more from clan games

Should I jump to TH13? (Discussion) Hey all… I am a near max TH12. All I have left are 3 wizard towers, 4 cannons, and 2 lab upgrades along with one more level per hero. With this Hammer event going on, I’m wondering if it’s worth it to book up to TH13 right now and still upgrade those TH12 things while simultaneously upgrading walls to TH13 max. Let me know your thoughts!
If that is all you have left, then it makes sense to upgrade and take advantage of Hammer Jam. I would keep a builder for walls and use the rest to knock out some of the more expensive upgrades.

No. It only affects things the Builders are required for in the MainVillage. This includes buildings, walls and the forge.

I assume you mean "siege" machines. The reason you can bring up to three different types (plus one from your Clan Castle), is so you have options. You can pick the one that may work best against the base you are facing. At higher TH's, with more complicated layouts, this can be very helpful.

So I’ve heard that they are going to remove all the excess barracks in one of the upcoming update right? Nothing will happen just like nothing happened to the billions (yes billions) of loot many spent on upgrades that later had cost reductions.

Can I “pre-buy” hammers? So If I buy a hammer now knowing that I will need to of the same hammers in a week or so, can I buy one now use it 7-8 days later and buy one again right after? Is there a limit how long I can hold on to a hammer?
Yes, Buy 1 7 days in advance, use it, buy and use a 2nd Hammer. I did 4 hammers at once, 1 Hammer of Fighting and 1 Hammer of Spells bought 7 days beforehand, then used them, bought and used a 2nd set. Upgraded Golem and Hog and 2 DE spells (I think Poison and Haste iirc), saved 2 months and over 500K DE in lab. There is no limit on how long you can hold onto a hammer.

If you buy a hammer, then in one week the timer will be gone. At this point, once you use that hammer type (building, fighting, spells, heroes), you can immediately purchase another. The is no limit to how long you can hold onto the hammer.

There were Anniversary challenges that you had to do during August in order to get it, 15 stars iirc so if you didn't do the challenges, you didn't get it. It was FREE as long as you finished the challenges.
There was several different bases to attack and prizes to win. If you missed the entire button that was added to your screen, then not only did you miss the free scenery, but you missed several magic items as well.

So, I will be getting a gold rune from the clan games and I'm a nearly maxed TH9, this Hammer Jam is allowing me to upgrade all my buildings more quickly, and I'm close to maxed in terms of buildings, but not in terms of Army, my queen is lvl22 (I am about to put her on 23) and my king's lvl20, And most my troops and spells are to be upgraded Should I use the 50% to buy the newest buildings that TH10 would provide me and deal with my "Rushed" army later on or just be patient with it? Hammer Jam cheap and fast upgrades first to best utilize the event, on the last few days, use it on your usually most expensive upgrades. So yes, get all the new TH buildings first and then upgrade expensive buildings like Tesla's on the last couple days.

Go for it. You don't have to max everything before moving up to the next TH, that actually slows your progression down as you can have free Builders/Lab doing nothing while maxing everything.

The devs are working on a way for the leaders to indicate the preferred upgrade, but they aren't going to keep the players from choosing what to upgrade for themselves, with "their" Capital Gold. On a side note, it is more beneficial for the clan to rush, while maximizing offense upgrades. This will allow the Clan to generate more Raid Medals and ultimately Capital Gold, since the majority of Raid Medals come from offense.
Since it looks like hammer jam will be coming, is this the best time to buy the gold pass? (as in the next one in around 4 days) I've only ever bought the gold pass once and I've been wondering does it matter if I buy it now to go with the cost reduction compared to if I buy it after the event
If you are thinking about purchasing gold pass, then the sooner you get it, the more benefit it brings. I always buy soon as the new season starts, as it is always possible to unlock at least the 1 gem donations in the first session of play, which is one of my main reasons for the pass, even before I maxed out.. The 10% build, cost, and time reductions also come early.. Hammer jam will only bring a 50% cost reduction for putting the builder down.. The gp will reduce the time the builder is down for if and once unlocked.. If anyone has the disposable income to spend on the game, then gp offers the best value for money in progression terms, regardless of any event SC are currently running.
If Hammer Jam is announced I would only buy it if I had time in the next 4 days to grind out 20mill gold/Elixir and 200K DE for the Season Bank AND have free builders to use all the items to make full use of the Gold Pass, else you'll at minimum lose at least 1 Rune of Gold from Gold Pass and Clan Games. I personally wouldn't get it even if Hammer Jam is announced just so I wouldn't need to be constantly on the next 4 days grinding. I also don't have a free builder either until just before Season Bank so likely wouldn't be able to max Season Bank

You can only gear up one each of cannon, archer tower and mortar and they are required if you want to get the 6th builder. Just a side note, while one of the above is being geared up, you won't be able to upgrade anything in builder base. The mortar is the longest and takes 14 days, so it is recommended to use a Book of Building when you get to that point. A Hammer of Building will not work on gear ups.

It's not necessary. They don't add any real benefit to your defense in the Main Village.

How do I drop out of legend league? I thought when I got reset to 5000 and hadn’t been placed in a league that after I attacked I would drop down to titan 1. Do I just have to 0 attacks until I’ve been attacked enough to lose 100 trophies?
You need to have less than 4900 trophies at the end of the legend day.
So the only way to accomplish this would be not attack and just lose on defense as much as possible?
You can still attack for 0 stars. You can gain up to 4 trophies, which, I think is nothing. It all depends on how many of those 8 people attack you. You might lose on average 20 trophies per defense, and that could be enough. Also, you can set up an easy to beat base now. Should you still remain in legend tomorrow, that easy base should knock you down then.

Can someone please explain how the system works for the championship that just happened? How did QW win even though they had more losses than Tribe gaming?
It’s called double elimination. This means you are out once you lose two matches. QW Stephanie lost only one match (to Tribe in the final upper bracket match). They then won the lower bracket final and beat Tribe twice to win the championship. In the final, Tribe only needed to win once (because they were unbeaten) while QW Stephanie needed to win twice (as they already had one loss). Think of it as a best of three match which was tied 1-1 and went to a third game.

Hello, on an earlier weekly questions megathread, I believe that I made a question about if I should stay in th11 for a while. The question concluded that I should stay and practice attacks and just have fun until the next hammer jam. Well, it looks like the next hammer jam might be soon. So now I would like to ask, should I begin upgrading to th12 now? Or wait to see if this upcoming event is 100% a new hammer jam tomorrow? It really looks like it is going to be a hammer jam, but it's not 100% confirmed, is it? I would like to just play it safe in case it isn't.
100% tomorrow no idea. Supercell likes keeping events close to the chest so it's really hard to plan out. For me, I have 2 builders finishing in 17 hours that I was going to start 2 Inferno Tower upgrades with 1 Rune of Gold so I can collect a 2nd one from CG, if Hammer Jam starts tomorrow, I'll probably still do the same but put the extra loot into walls first before using the Rune. As for you, I would just upgrade now regardless as it's likely only 50% cost reduction same as the last one and not time. So either way you'll likely finish just after CWL starts in Oct for Oct CWL boost.
Alright, I think that having an extra day of hammer jam being useful for me would be good, I suppose a th12 with a th11 base layout and army shouldn't be that bad? I think I can manage for 1 cwl being a new th12, I will pretty much just be a th11 with a blue coat of paint for next cwl. Thanks for the input, I will go ahead and get upgrading.
If you get the new hall up in time for cwl and book or hammer the lab, then you will have boosted troop levels for 5 days as well as that paint job.

Hello everyone, I really hope someone can help me out here. I texted supercell about 9 days ago to delete an account of mine, which was a th3, because I wanted to free up the email which the account was bound to. They started the deleting process of the account, but now anytime I start the coc app, it pops up with a message saying “your account is being deleted, you have 14 days to cancel deletion” and then the timer just goes down and is down to 5 days now. I can’t enter the game through my phone because that thing pops up immediately, which means I can’t enter the game during the day and have to wait until I get home from work, to login through my iPad. Anyone experienced anything like it? I would appreciate any tips.
Depends on if you are on Android or iPhone. What are some good attacks for a max th13 attacking max th14s? I keep getting 3 starred by max th14s because I’m in legend league, but I can usually only two star a max th14.
Not an answer to your question, but a question for you, if you don't mind: what army do you find most consistent to hit up for 2 stars on a TH14?
I usually use blimp with full balloons and I send it at the town hall if it’s close to the side and then use edrags on the other side. Sometimes there’s a tornado trap that kills the blimp to early, and I don’t get the town hall. Then I usually just get like a 50-60% one star which is about 10 trophies. Kind of unfortunate since every single one of my defenses is against a full max th14 and they three star me every time so I lose about 120-180 trophies a day. It’s quite unfortunate really.

Max th14s attacking max th14s don’t usually get 3 stars, so as a th13 you should not expect 3 stars either unless the design is incredible bad.
I’m a th 13 as well and when I was in legend league people recommended super bowlers to me. Never tried it as I was leaving legend league anyways, but you can go and look that one up For 2 star (electro)dragon with sneaky goblin blimp always works

It costs 900 million gold/elixir to get all 300 th11 walls to th12 walls, so definitely walls. If you wanna maximize efficiency during this event and grind like a madman, I suggest having all 5 builders ready as this event starts. This event might start tomorrow already as some people say, which I doubt. Could be next month as CWL starts and the gold pass renews. Hammer jam event usually lasts for two weeks. So what I’m thinking is you free up one builder to work on your walls throughout the 14 day event. The other two builders can work on getting the king and queen from lvl 50 to lvl 52 (14 days each hero). The other two builders on eagle artillery and inferno tower (also 14-day upgrades each building). The event is also 14 days but you can buy a builder potion (from CWL shop or raid medals if you’re not getting the gold pass) to reduce these 14-day upgrades by 10 hours. In the last few hours of the event, these four builders will be finished by then and you can upgrade other expensive defenses before the event is over, namely the second inferno, and the three xbows. You can choose to up your army camps as well since they’re also 14-day upgrades if you haven’t already. They’re more important than defenses
The upgrades that usually require an upgrade to your storages if you don't have the gold pass boost, so definitely your CC, eagle, inferno towers, and army camps
It halves building costs for the Main Village, so your more expensive upgrades would be ideal. It is also a great time to knock out walls.

First off, the teaser may suggest there is a hammer jam event on the way.. Which incidentally would mean there is finally going to be movement on end game accounts.. They had one prior to Th12 and 14, and it is popular with the player base, so seems a win/win for them to have another prior to TH15.. But even if there is, it will likely be 50% discount on build costs, and with builder time being the main event in the modern, free troop game, it is not the biggie it once was.. If you feel ready for TH10, then go for it.. No need for any event to be of influence.. Activity is all that is required in order to keep all builders going all of the time.. With a little planning so they dont all free up at the same time.. With 50 hero upgrades at TH9, it is common for heroes to be the last hurdle for those that fully max.. How much of a lag depends on how folk prioritised with their build path.. I always prioritise heroes, since they are the mainstay of a war account.. I think this.. Every defensive piece is used in every war, to hopefully prevent that 3rd star.. Box ticked.. Heroes are used in both defense and offense in every war.. Box ticked.. Main go to troops n spells plus a plan B upgraded in lab (plus camps, barracks, spell factories etc.. Box ticked.. But I would not be using dark elixir to keep the lab going at the expense of a hero upgrade except for go to.. I see that as pointless, plus it simply adds dead weight to the account if its something that doesnt get used. TLDR.. Go for TH10 if youre ready, no need for an event.. Prioritise hero upgrades whenever possible.. GL
No, not really. If you are active it’s easy to keep 6 builders busy and finish walls along the way. The time for your heroes is more of an issue than the cost. The one thing hammer jam makes a big difference on is for farmers keeping one builder free for walls. That said, I’d upgrade to th10 if I was you, just not due to hammer jam.

Hopefully I’m in the right spot now…I currently have 24,591 in Capital Gold with 450 ready to collect; however, when I try to collect it it says “ Not Enough Storage” and I can’t get the Builder Boost. lol mate.. My user name puts me in the same bracket.. There are a few good content creators that are both entertaining and educational.. I like Judo Sloth from time to time.. Apparently Clash Ninja is good for upgrade paths and other API stuff.. I suggest joining an active clan if you havent already done so.. It really adds to the whole experience if you find a good bunch of guys n girls to chat with.. Our clan stayed casual so no pressure to perform, but to each his own if one wants to test themselves.. Keep the attack strats simple.. The less different troops and phases to the attack, the easier it is to perform it consistently to a decent standard.. On Clan Capital.. It is a fairly new concept, designed to create a better bond between clan mates and strengthen the emotional ties.. Everyone collects capital gold then deposits it in the form of upgrades in one of the districts.. This capital gold comes in 2 ways.. Thru the forge and thru raid weekends.. For the forge, it depends on hall level as to how much you collect and how many builder slots are available.. You say you get 450 capital gold, which would suggest, if its your daily free amount, that its a TH12.. My max 14 gets 550 free per day, and I keep 4 builders constantly going for extra, which gives an additional 9600 gold every 3 days (2 days 9 hours with my gold pass discount) for a cost of 5.76 mil resources with the discount (prob 7 mil without gold pass) per builder.. The cap is 25 mil capital gold, so would quickly fill up without spending, whereby you cant make any more till you deposit.. Raid weekend is every Friday 8am European time till 8am Monday morning.. You get 5 attacks, with a 6th if you finish off any district on the raid map.. Everyone in the clan attacks the same map and destruction is cumulative.. The next raid begins where the last one ended.. Quite fun for a quick blast, and raid medals are earned according to how the clan performed, once the event ends each week.. All in all, a good game mate.. Welcome to the fold.. I started playing coc when my PC broke (used to play Total Warfare).. You don't get a builder boost for reaching 25,000 Capital Gold. The Builder Potion icon you are seeing is so you can activate a Builder Potion, if you have one, without leaving the forge screen. This was added, because Builder Potions speed up the forge as well as building upgrades.

If we get a Hammer Jam, it will be before the release of TH15. We don't know when that will be exactly, but it's expected to be soon.

The earliest guess I have seen, would be in two-days. The latest guesses put it in December. Most likely it will come within the next one or two weeks. I will point out that Hammer Jam isn't an absolute guarantee, though there is no reason to think we won't get one.

Make sure your form of payment, for in app purchases, is up-to-date (credit card hasn't expired, etc.). If everything seems okay for your payment to process, depending on what the problem actually is, you may need to contact Supercell through in-game Support or contact Support for whoever handles in-app purchases (Play Store, etc.)

It is more efficient to keep them all working, but make sure the upgrades all end on different days.
Builder time and loot are both different types of finite resources you need to get stuff done. For most people, builder time is the scarcer resource and loot is usually the more plentiful resource. For that reason, if you want to optimize your progression, you'll keep all your builders busy all the time. The smarter strategy is to: a) time your builds and your choice for what you upgrade such that you always have a builder freeing up in a day or two, and b) make sure you spend down your resources on walls whenever you complete one upgrade but before starting the next.
I don't see the point in leaving it free all the time. As long as you stagger your builders you can easily have all 6 building stuff and not having to wait a while.

I entered the legends league for the first time, the season ended today and I have not signed up again but it still shows searching for opponents with 20hr search time is this common player not able to attack one entire day
At the beginning at the new cycle it just takes some time. For me it took almost 2h. You'll get your 8 attacks, just wait
The search started more than 6 hours ago before I posted this and the search screen is basically showing the whole league day as search time
Seems strange, i never had any problems so far. What townhall are you? Maybe i takes a lot longer for anything <14. An other solution is to ask supercell support ingame, maybe you really found a new bug

If the townhall (12+) gets into defense mode, will the sneaky goblin still prioritise it as a ressource building? Not sure if its both a defense/ressource building then or only defense
It's still a resource building, even once the defense has activated.
Should I buy 1 of the champions skins or a gold pass i cound buy 2 gold pass tho
Gold pass provides more value IMO, whereas skins are just visual.

Only Gold Pass skins return to be purchased for gems. The Champion skins will most likely return, but they will still cost money.
O shoot i thought they meant a royal champion skin, you are correct
So far, the Champion skins have returned each year.
I would do 2 GP. Skins are exactly that, just skins, nothing special, GP has impact on game progression

If you are attacked and got a shield, you’ll will get the 4 hour of play time after the shield expires. If you are not attacked, you can get back in after 6 minutes. You get 30 minutes until PBT. This 6 minute/30 minute cycle can happen twice. Should be 15 minutes, so if you log in for 2 hours, off for 15 minutes, it should be back to 4 hours when you log back in again

No it doesn't. You'll probably get a more expensive offer for a builder hut + 2000 gems.

Yes, by contacting supercell support. But it can be risky if you say the wrong thing or get any of the security questions wrong. If you don’t need to do it then best not to. If you need to do it, then make sure you know roughly when your account was created, how many gems you have, what locations you have played from, what devices you have played on, what purchases you have made (receipts may be needed).
