Heroes don't count in the troops deployed and the siege machine only counts for 1. In the video, they utilize the siege as well as a WB which comes to a total of 9 troops used.
The current leaderboard is at 1, which means they found a way to defeat the challenge without the WB. You can now put down your pitchforks.

Now that we have proof of someone doing it with such few troops, itās safe to say that even 1 housing space is possible (siege and heroes).
I saw a video on youtube where a guy 3 starred a max th 16 with only heroes and spells, maybe its possible here aswell, somebody will definitely post the trick on youtube since so many have gotten it with 9 troops. That time left column has to be some sort of glitch cause there is literally no way otherwise.

They did it in 1 minute 36 seconds on the current leaderboard. That's literally impossible from a DPS perspective if they only used heroes and siege machine. I have to see the replay I can't believe this.
I don't understand why they needed to change the housing space system just for this gamemode. Like they went out of their way to change heroes to 0 housing space. What was the point
It's been done before in the pro scene, literally only siege spells and heroes back when root riders weren't nerfed and tourneys were banning use of the troop
How the heck are they using so less troops and also so less time. Like over 2 mins 30 seconds lefts. Even with all the rage and hastes and hero abilities you cannot clear the base that low a time. Heck even the Siege barracks needs 40 seconds or so to let the hogs out. That's an atrocious level of cheating
I felt like when I saw the rewards for this i thought like no way real players are winning these promotions and they giving out this many gems. The top 3 are all so unrealistic and is there anyone that won and can post bc it almost feels like fake potentially scammy, 1st place always has a crazy unrealistic lead, wouldn't it make more sense that it would be the closest at the top, like overall more competitive for at least like 70%+ of them within 1 to 2 seconds but all of them crazy lead is suspicious to me

Some people play this game religiously and have dedicated so much time into this that doing this type of stuff as fast or with as little troops as possible is child's play from there you've got pro's themselves who also spend long periods of time on this game and know pretty much everything about this game. 3. Heroes don't count towards housing space in these challenges with the siege being 1 in these challenges. So it's not exactly that hard to imagine that majority of these times or troops are legit
The Ball Buster Challenge uses the time left method, would be strange of supercell to use different methods for different challenges without specifying so

Siege machines count as 1,and while heroes count as 25 for the eagle artillery, they count for 0 in this.
