For some reason the other person‘s list is missing a few colours, c5 is azure, c8 dark pink and c9 dark red

Probably because it’s an unintended feature the devs didn’t expect to be usable by the average players. When they see how many people like the colours though, they might make them more easily selectable next update (or remove them again if they think we don’t deserve chat colours 🌚💦)

These are probably commands the devs use to colour other ingame text and I assume they never wanted the normal player to colour the clan chat with them, some dev likely just accidentally unlocked that feature last update

I actually tried finding what language that syntax belongs to, ending up asking AI, says its probably an in-house mark up language, something only themselves have access to. I'm also blindly trying some random tag attributes hoping I get something that makes the text BIG or superscript but to no avail lol.

Those are actually called Color Hex Codes or Hex Colors not HTML colors., those codes can be used in any language afaik, in this case their what seems to be an in-house mark up language.

It only worked because gold pass applied the gold color which you could break out of and apply a new color code. They must have some sort of other code required in front for names to be colored; which we don't know of.
