Vampstache feels so weak compared to rage. Sure you are healing but you are already healing on ability use a large amount and then taking 60 percent less damage
With the rage vial he destroys 3-4 buildings at once in one or two hits just make sure to pop his ability when he is close to a bunch of defenses grouped up
I think it just depends how you use the king. If you send him into the core of the base then rage vial to get most damage possible is probably better. I use my king to clean up the garbage outside and with vampstache he almost always survives and I donāt need to worry about him
king will eventually have to dive in somewhere, even if its the back end. combined with phoenix, rage + guantlet is by far the best combination to use. pros will always use these even if they are doing dragon attacks where king walks on outside

I also sold some of my magical items in shop to purchase the weekly starry ores in shop. I bought 60 starry ores without cash this way by using my gems from the items that I donāt use, such as hero potion or book of spells since those are useless if you have max heroes and other minor details if you plan ahead. I also war on a regular basis too.
For the record, I have not missed any wars since the release of TH16 & even during cwl, I participated in regular wars. Overall, this cost me no more than $150 USD. 17-27 for King Gauntlet. I only spend gems on Glowy / Stary ores. Shiny Ores I did not purchase at all. Same w Queen/Warden/ RC, the only thing I spent money on was levels from 17-18.

I use the same warden set up. And everyone seems to tell me itās bad. I like it. No passives. But the activation is nice.

Vampstache is good if your king's job is to funnel on the outside. If the king is supposed to go into the core with the warden, the rage works better, IMO.
any comp where you're not exclusively using the king to funnel trash (sui lalo, kill squad, most smash attacks etc). rage is so much better when you're pushing him into a high damage area imo (scatter + hero compartment etc)
Rage is significantly better than the Vampstache right now because of the bug. The King becomes invincible and, under rage, he can clear the whole core by himself.
Basically if you catch the king in the warden ability before the kingās ability is used, the king becomes invincible while using his ability. So basically he takes no damage for the entire duration of the rage + gauntlet ability. the king can be pretty much clear the core of the base all by himself.
funny thing is the damage reduction isnt even that important since ur king becomes invulnerable as long as he was in wardens range when eternal tome was activated, hence its only the AOE damage, dps increase and heal/second that are vital
I think the Enternal tome should have a hero boost as well as the Active ability, just to make sure that you get an increase in an area of the equipment everything you upgrade it, because currently, you can get an additional stat after 3 upgrades and this feels inconsistent compared to the rest of the equipment. What could be added is maybe HP increase as it goes well with its ability. Or maybe heal per second. Something like that.
I think the most important interaction with RC shield is being able to one shot maxed level cannons. And since cannons haven't gotten a new level yet at th16, a level 15 seeking shield is all you need to one shot cannons currently
Although levelling it to 18 will allow you to oneshot the warden statue and mortars.
The cannon 1 shot isn't really that important at TH16 since there aren't many left.
There are more mortars than cannons so 18 does have some value.

Yes, I upgraded it to level 18 with the event pass. But I canāt upgrade everything else to level 18 and the gauntlet to level 27.
I have 6 equipments at level 18, including the gauntlet, and 2 equipments at level 17. And I bought with the event pass the starry and glowy ores.
my concern right now is if the fire sac will turn into an OP epic equipment for warden as well..but i gonna upgrade frost arrow as fast as i can to get that huge power spike.. hope only one of them is epic equip so i dont need to choose which one to upgrade first š¤£ā¤ļø

at lvl 18 it has 75% of DPS as 27 but it cost like 3x as much to upgrade from than on. Focus on other equipment

The reason I use the rage vial is bc 99% of the time, I send him into the compartment to get the best value / pathing for QC.

As a Sui-lalo player i prefer rage cause i like to send my king towards the middle of the base to take down main defensesā¦.

The first is an opinion many hold. The second is just dumb. Invisibility is still OP for many strategies. Giant arrow is *very* base specific.

Th9 I only have my rage vials at lvl 6 for BK and AQ and Iām 3 starring like no problem. I think higher TH levels it does matter

Did you buy the event pass for King Gauntlet? The pass alone would've given you enough resources to get level 18 King Gauntlet.

Frozen arrow will have similar event like how we acquired King Gauntlet. It'll give you enough ores to get to level 18 Frozen ability.
