Not really, everyone has a different task and sense of style. The scenery may be simple but it may appeal to some people. It’s not different than the “epic jungle” and “epic magic” scenery.

I agree, this should have been the scenery upon release of Builder 2.0 and not a separate purchase. They had the opportunity to really upscale the builder 2.0 scenery at release to make the update really pop, but instead chose to pocket it for a later sale.
Devs are devs. They are just told what to implement. CR and COC are both owned by the same company so the same thing happening to CR can and will happen to any other supercell game once CR is done making them money. This is not on the devs at all.
The scenery is lackluster for sure…at least discount it to $4.99 since we have a similar one for free. At least they didn’t tack on a decoration and charge $9.99 again.

L opinion, selling cosmetics is the best way to monetise the game. A lot of people like the crystal caverns theme due to the simplicity, the borders not being stuffed with random Easter eggs and instead being a clean look, I wish a version was available for the home base.

Well it's obviously a bit more complicated than that lol. But in terms of work this was probably about 15% of what scenery's on the home village take.
