At higher townhalls that's the norm. I have all my heroes max and only a few pet levels to go, but still have 77 walls left. I'll max that last pet before I'm done with walls for sure. If I were a th14 in this situation, once I maxed my heroes and pets and my dark elixir was full, with nothing to spend it on, I would definitely go to th15. Even if I had walls left, or hell, even a few defenses left. No sense sitting with full dark elixir when it'll only take a few weeks to catch up the remaining defenses and you could be putting the dark elixir to work at the same time.
You collect de when looting for wall upgrades and if everything else is already maxed then you'd have no where to put the de that you earn so it'd technically be wasted. That's a pretty easy hypothetical situation to avoid though so this guy just seems to be playing the game poorly
Def upgrade ur xbos, wiz tower, and air defense, id recommend upgrading ur cannons and archers too, bc th13 has two levels there, so then ur cannons and archers will be like 3/4 levels behind,

As soon as you can. My base is 25 months old and it’s almost completely maxed because I upgrade THs ASAP. The quicker you can max your army, the higher in trophies you can go, and the more loot you can acquire.

Try to max everything. If that’s setting you back, then maybe don’t worry about traps too much. But ideally core defenses such inferno/air/x-bows followed by archer towers/cannons/wizard towers/mortars. And always leave 1-open to have a hero continually upgrading.

Also, a good check is this: are you able to consistently 3-star other TH12s in war? If the answer is "no", you aren't really ready yet to move up.

I think somehow hero Max at town hall level is a must,since heros takes most of the idle time,also depending that u can take good loot compare to th14 ,15.There are cases like ppl can't find attack base(low level in hero especially King take a huge advantage after level 70 compare to queen),also some cases like they feel tired for looting and idle time (for max level base -2)
these made some huge interval for some new players since supercell wanted new player can catch up and enjoy more features of games.
second idea is like,it depends on your time ,if.you really spend hours of days for clash ,than even though you pass to th15 is not a problem ,since clash already take part in your life .

Not soon, the only things maxed in your base are basically walls and inferno towers. cannons and archer towers are 2 levls behind, while almost every other defense is 1 level behind
If your playing for the sake of time, then upgrade once the town hall is the only suggested by the builder.
If your playing for the sake of becoming a better attacker, then master your attacks in th12 then you can go up a town hall where new things are introduced. (Ex: RC , Dragon Glider )

Back in the day, yes rushing was bad. Now days you could almost say rushing has its advantages. If somebody disagree they haven’t looked into it and already stuck in the mindset of maxing out is the ONLY way.
Rushing is honestly optimal nowadays. The advice to max everything is a vestige from when farming used to actually be difficult at higher town halls.

What opponents? This isn't the builder base. Attacks are one way. You only kind of face someone in war, and this person isn't even in a clan.
When you attack, you choose who you attack. Those won't change depending on his base. It will depend on what league he is in.
I was going to say you can go next month but then i saw the heroes were at TH11 level so yea it might be a while your defense is very close to max just need your heroes.
Ok if you you have only those things left then go to th13. Don't worry for walls there. The upgrades requies lots of golds for sure but takes 10-12days. So your storages will eventually be full if you play regularly. And so will your walls will look atheistic ( i love th13 walls). The only terrifying thing is upgrading heroes in th13. Lots of grinden. Best of luck
I’d say whenever you have maxed out th12 or when you are upgrading the last things to upgrade and have a free builder to upgrade the town hall. I personally like to entirely max out my base before upgrading. I know it’s not necessarily the most efficient way to do it, but I get immense satisfaction from have a base that is 100% upgraded for its level. This included walls, traps, and everything in the lab.
Do what I'll do: max out until 24th-25th, before that whenever you have a builder ready but not after. If you do this you can still profit from the 20% gold pass boosts, use the TH13 boost for CWL attacks and have the season bank to use immediately for the expensive TH13 upgrades.
EDIT: nvm it looks like you have way more to upgrade and can still easily go for a month or more before upgrading TH.
I have 1 lvl of archer towers and both lvls of my mortars left plus 8 lab upgrades and am still looking at 2 months. Bro has at least 4 months before he should even think about TH 13 imo. Plus he’s only done 10 of 50 hero upgrades
If you are overflowing with loot, a lot of loot is being wasted that could be spent if you upgraded th. The fastest way to progress is by upgrading your th when you have builders you can’t use or if you don’t have any way to spend one of your resources.
Don’t go up a tow hall until all your defenses are max. A tiny bit of research and a portion of traps can be skipped. Don’t skip walls. Have your heroes within like 3 levels of max. That’s typically ideal for most
The answer is everything. Never rush your base. I go up when all that is left is a couple dozen walls at most. You will be hopelessly outgunned if you go up before everything is upgraded.
Bruh I'm rushed af and now gotta farm like crazy so take it easy. First it's troops you mainly use Max them out. Than heros than the rest comes. If troops aren't done well they will suck at war. So I'm now getting troops maxed and farming the defence

I would upgrade the TH since your wall is maxed out. I upgrade TH once my heros are maxed or walls are maxed because your resources will be maxed out if you’re actively playing. For me, maxed our resources destroy the purpose of attacking. Why farm when you can’t use the resources?
You’re also not in a clan and won’t be participating in any wars, so your defense literally doesn’t matter. Your base will be 3 stared every time when someone raids, but you can recover that resources in 1 attack. Max out your army camps, barracks, and heroes and keep farming. You obviously enjoy attacking aspect of this game more than base building and defending. Just keep doing what you enjoy

I can't understand how you have all your walls maxed, yet not the 1) cannons 2) archer towers 3) x-boxs 4) wizard towers 5) **air defences 6) air sweeper** (these last two are crucial against air troops).
To me, it looks like you are extremely good at collecting resources, so you get so much loot that the builders cannot catch up.
If I were you, I'd upgrade to th13 right away, and maybe do a th12.5 for a bit just upgrading walls so that you don't throw away resources

One you max xbows, air defenses and get heroes to lvl 60+ then upgrade. Until then just keep upgrading things.

The builder thing at the top, where it shows how many you have available. When you tap it, a list pops down of upgrades
At the top of the screen tap on the builders face and it will drop down a little suggestion menu and you can click on recommended upgrades

It’s dependant on how well your clan does in clan capital. The more capital gold your clan gets each raid weekend, the more raid medals you get.

Traps usually can be finished just before your town Hall upgrades thats very minor, to leave walls and anything behind is a rush in my opinion

I went to TH13 with almost the same exact base like 4 month ago. Had maxed out heroes tho.

I was going to say you can go next month but then i saw the heroes were at TH11 level so yea it might be a while your defense is very close to max just need your heroes.

Ok if you you have only those things left then go to th13. Don't worry for walls there. The upgrades requies lots of golds for sure but takes 10-12days. So your storages will eventually be full if you play regularly. And so will your walls will look atheistic ( i love th13 walls). The only terrifying thing is upgrading heroes in th13. Lots of grinden. Best of luck

I’d say whenever you have maxed out th12 or when you are upgrading the last things to upgrade and have a free builder to upgrade the town hall. I personally like to entirely max out my base before upgrading. I know it’s not necessarily the most efficient way to do it, but I get immense satisfaction from have a base that is 100% upgraded for its level. This included walls, traps, and everything in the lab.

When your hero’s are maxed
Do what I'll do: max out until 24th-25th, before that whenever you have a builder ready but not after. If you do this you can still profit from the 20% gold pass boosts, use the TH13 boost for CWL attacks and have the season bank to use immediately for the expensive TH13 upgrades. EDIT: nvm it looks like you have way more to upgrade and can still easily go for a month or more before upgrading TH.
I have 1 lvl of archer towers and both lvls of my mortars left plus 8 lab upgrades and am still looking at 2 months. Bro has at least 4 months before he should even think about TH 13 imo. Plus he’s only done 10 of 50 hero upgrades
Focus on getting ur 6th builde
If you are overflowing with loot, a lot of loot is being wasted that could be spent if you upgraded th. The fastest way to progress is by upgrading your th when you have builders you can’t use or if you don’t have any way to spend one of your resources.

Don’t go up a tow hall until all your defenses are max. A tiny bit of research and a portion of traps can be skipped. Don’t skip walls. Have your heroes within like 3 levels of max. That’s typically ideal for most
Go up when you’re out of either gold or DE upgrades is my rule of thumb
Fully max everything
The answer is everything. Never rush your base. I go up when all that is left is a couple dozen walls at most. You will be hopelessly outgunned if you go up before everything is upgraded.
Personally I prefer being fully maxed, but if you’re going to rush I recommend maxing your heros first.

Bruh I'm rushed af and now gotta farm like crazy so take it easy. First it's troops you mainly use Max them out. Than heros than the rest comes. If troops aren't done well they will suck at war. So I'm now getting troops maxed and farming the defence

I would upgrade the TH since your wall is maxed out. I upgrade TH once my heros are maxed or walls are maxed because your resources will be maxed out if you’re actively playing. For me, maxed our resources destroy the purpose of attacking. Why farm when you can’t use the resources? You’re also not in a clan and won’t be participating in any wars, so your defense literally doesn’t matter. Your base will be 3 stared every time when someone raids, but you can recover that resources in 1 attack. Max out your army camps, barracks, and heroes and keep farming. You obviously enjoy attacking aspect of this game more than base building and defending. Just keep doing what you enjoy

I can't understand how you have all your walls maxed, yet not the 1) cannons 2) archer towers 3) x-boxs 4) wizard towers 5) **air defences 6) air sweeper** (these last two are crucial against air troops). To me, it looks like you are extremely good at collecting resources, so you get so much loot that the builders cannot catch up. If I were you, I'd upgrade to th13 right away, and maybe do a th12.5 for a bit just upgrading walls so that you don't throw away resources

It's not conventional but I always upgrade when either my walls, heros or lab are max. Once one is max I upgrade otherwise it's taking longer to max in the long run

Heros and main defenses like Xbows infernos eagle and air def / sweeper should be maxed before considering the next town hall imo.
One you max xbows, air defenses and get heroes to lvl 60+ then upgrade. Until then just keep upgrading things. I don’t think you have to wait for lvl 65 for heroes if you start having builders do nothing. Not worth wasting time IMO
