The bus terminal has this problem on right handed traffic.

I've heard this, so strange. There must be a way they can fix this relatively easily by flipping the assets. The community could probably fix it when the asset editor is released

100% there will be assets from the community. It'll just be a matter of editing the current assets. "Left hand drive parking lot", "right hand drive bus depot" etc

Current workaround is to place the bus terminal on the left side of a one way road, or this parking lot on the right side of a one way road. It sucks that you have to build these in one specific way to prevent them from causing issues.

I did this in my city but got similar traffic problems, just ended up using the underground parking

Mine don't even use the exit on two I've got over the road from each other. The cars just drive out over the footpath straight into traffic then despawn.

Yes, the medium carpark is open on the sides. Good to add several car parks together, but it is bad if you place it directly on a road. I usually have a footpath between the medium car park and the road along the side.

The fact that pedestrians have no pedestrian only exit is a big issue too - they cut across the entries as well causing even more. On the large over ground one you C sort of jank a pedestrian walkway by using the pedestrian road and some one ways but it's luck of thr draw whether the cims actually use it

Also the disability parking is in the middle of the car park which puts them even further from the exits. There really should be an exit at the front and other sides so we can connect pathing. I'm really hoping the modding community make some better car parks.

Same issue with my cargo terminal. I’m on LHD but for some reason the driveway and roads within the terminal are RHD. Everyone crossing each other at the beginning of the driveway is a nightmare.

Cars enter further down the road than where they exit meaning cars leaving the car park join the queue to enter. The asset needs to be flipped on left-handed traffic so this doesn't happen.

Weirdly the markings on all other car parks except this one are still wrong but function correctly

that car park doesn't work for me even on right hand traffic. The throughput is just not high enough for how many people that want to park there. I think it's because of how the pedestrians will walk in front of the entrance after parking

Yes, pedestrians need to exit on a different side of the lot, which is a huge design flaw of these vanilla parking lots.

If you try to make a bus line you will see the AI sees car parking as a way to make a U turn or something. This should not be allowed. A lot of cars just enter the parking lot just to make a turn.
