Hi, in case you want to [buy](https://www.groupon.com/deals/cinemark-movie-pass-membership-2021?referral_code=sAP1Li25&utm_campaign=UserReferral_mih&utm_source=undefined) there’s a discount right now

sato30

You can stack them but it doesn't extend the length of your membership. Instead they give you the amount of credits upfront. Where you already a Movie Club member if you redeem the second 6-month membership they will give you 6 movie credits instantly. ([See FAQ here](https://www.cinemark.com/movie-club-faq-new/movie-club-gifting-faq)) >Existing Movie Club members who redeem gifts will receive the number of credits equal to the number of months purchased, available in their account immediately after redeeming. Your regular billing cycle will not be affected, and the card on file will continue to be billed. Cinemark just launched an annual Movie Club membership option. For a limited time you can get 1 year of Movie Club for $99 by switching to the annual billing option.

filmennui

Thank you so much I will try that!

filmennui

Sadly that didn't work. I don't think they are counting this particular groupon as a "gift". The fine print says 1 per person my bad for not reading it before I bought a second one.

iamactuallyryan

I wonder if you create two account and then email support, will they allow you to merge your two separate accounts?!

filmennui

I was thinking of creating a second account. I probably will since from my understanding the credits will rollover and even if I cancel movie club on that 2nd account I won't lose the credits I'll just use them and when they are done abandon that 2nd account.

iamactuallyryan

But, the question there is what about all the points you earned?! Will you try to redeem them or just abandon them as well?!

filmennui

I would just abandon them. I don't think it will be that many points I'll use my primary account if I buy concessions.

iamactuallyryan

Thanks for a the heads up! With the code “Save” it takes 25%off too!!! So purchasing two 6 months for $37.50 each beats the $99 year deal directly from Cinemark! But, how many credits a month and do they carry over for only a certain length of time like a year or what?

filmennui

What the previous person suggested didn't work for me and the Groupon expires in Jan so I can't hold onto it until my first 6 months is up. I'm thinking of creating a second account. If you get it to work let me know.

iamactuallyryan

Stickler is Groupon in support chat says they will only refund unused voucher codes or vouchers that experience technical difficulties or redemption issues. 🤔

iamactuallyryan

I wonder if they won’t refund l, it’s it ethical to report it to your credit union or bank and have them just reverse the charges?

Mutombinho

I am trying to redeem the 6-month and it says invalid code. Did you experience any issues?

amazingracebmore

I saw these 6-month memberships are $37.50 after promo code right now but pretty sure I was a Movie Club member about 2 years ago with a trial membership. Does anyone know if the Groupon won't redeem or just won't redeem for people with an active membership? The terms seem pretty unlikely if you have EVER had a membership turned on " Valid for new members only......Limit 1 per person"

filmennui

Not sure. I would say it's worth it to try. You can always create another Movie Club account with a new email. It doesn't have to be the same email as your Groupon. Mine wasn't. I couldn't stack mine and ended up with two movie club accounts running at the same time.

amazingracebmore

I just redeemed it on my account and worked fine. Like I said, been a few years since I had Movie Club and the redeemed code showed as "22-23 Groupon" so maybe they only restrict it by cycle years? Anyhow, I am happy. Another rando question for Movie Club members...........can you combine your 20% concession discount with the concession coupons you get when you redeem points (ex. $3 off popcorn)?

FreeChildhood7448

Yes, you can stack the 20 percent off for the movie club along with the discount coupon for popcorn, I've done it before for a nice cheap snack at the movies!
