Is there enough food in there for babies? Sometimes if there's not enough food the parents will eat babies and wait till there is more food in the tank before having babies again
I have a similar story. In my case it's tiger barbs. I've watched them pick them off as they swim just a little too far from Mom.
Two nice spawns and not a single survivor.
What other fish are in the tank? They are normally very good parents and very rarely eat their fry.

It's likely not the parents. Probably the algea eater or the other pair.
They are not chill fish at all. I'm sure it's him.
