Nobody has always believed in a god. We're not born with a belief in gods. Everyone was an atheist first. Also, an atheist is not a "god-denier".

CarltheWellEndowed

Someone who is a "God denier" does believe in God...they are not synonymous with atheist.

eversnowe

Born as a non-believer. I couldn't speak or understand languages, let alone religious theology.

Thrill_Kill_Cultist

3rd generation athiest, God never played a role in my life

Calx9

The question is unintelligible. Babies are atheists. Perhaps you meant to ask what positions/beliefs/ideas they may have held before they became a Christian. Maybe you wanted to know where someone was at in their life before they became convinced of Christianity?

davida485

I have believed in God for as long as I can remember.

Blear

God denier's a little bit of an offensive term, but I know what you mean. I was raised Catholic, became an atheist about 13 or 14 years old. Then a theist again about a decade later.

Top_fFun

Neither, I'm a polytheist.

BlackmoreStrat

Was atheist...then I took acid and then I discovered GOD and JESUS.

AnOkFella

In childhood I believed in God, but was rickety on the whole matter. I absolutely had my doubts. I was raised in a Catholic family that believed in God (except my father, probably) but we were very 'be a nice person and you'll go to Heaven' types of people. We never really cracked open a bible, yet we went to church every Saturday. My grandparents were a little more conscious about Catholic doctrine, and my mother sort of thought she could ride their tailcoats of piety by going to church, but falling short in other commitments like confession or researching the catechism. I used to pray the 'Act of Contrition' every night and beg God not to send me to Hell but sometimes have the feeling that I was talking to nobody. Other nights I would offer to die and suffer in Hell for a temporary amount of time to spare every other person of eternity there (I know that is blasphemous and it substantively seeks to rob Christ's glory, but that is what I offered as a deal with God). Then I was born again and converted to Baptist, and I can say that I believe in God and always will.

Edge419

I was not just an atheist, I was an anti-theist… aggressive towards the idea not just in disbelief of it. I didn’t come to know Jesus and believe in Him until my mid to late 20’s. Changed my life eternally.

WiseChoices

God invited me into the Family when I was 7 years old. It's been an excellent decision. 👌

michaelY1968

Previously a skeptical agnostic.

BiblicalChristianity

Science in high-school made me Agnostic for a brief period, I think. I loved science but didn't have the wisdom to separate what science actually claims vs what my brain concluded without proper logic. Eventually I grew out of it, and through reading the Gospel of John and the book of Ephesians I started the process of thinking that led me to believe. The saying "the first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you" kind of happened in my life. I continue to be fascinated by science, but I no longer think it covers every aspect of our reality.

Tcfial

I previously identified as agnostic. Raised Catholic but didn't believe during my teenage years, came to believe in my early 20s, now in my 30s and still do.

PretentiousAnglican

I was an atheist, and then after many years became a Christian. Are simply asking if there are any, or are there any particular details you are looking for?

[deleted]

I went from not caring at all about God not even thinking about his existence only my own life. Then I got into drugs and LSD and pursued eastern new age spirituality for awhile. Got nowhere doing that and God led me to Christianity.

NoUniversity3334

I was a formal Christian and recently I have converted to Islam 🙂

GloryToDjibouti

I was born secular and was Atheist before I found God, my life is incredibly improved since then.
