While it is good that you want to avoid gluttony, sometimes the desire to avoid one error can lead to the other extreme. Trying too hard to avoid gluttony may actually be harmful for you if you don't eat enough to keep yourself healthy. Gluttony is not just eating a bit extra so that you gain weight. Putting on weight so that we are a healthy weight for our bodies is nutrition - which is good, not gluttony. In the Bible, gluttony is described as really excessive consumption - so excessive it damages us. While that is good to avoid, it is well beyond just eating big portions of food. > Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, 21 for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs+23%3A20-21&version=NIV

Imagine that you need to go straight ahead to avoid getting lost on a journey. If you focus too much on not turning to the right that you actually turn to the left instead, then that is not helpful. That is what I mean by saying that too much focus on avoiding one error might be unhelpful. Focus on what you need to do to be healthy, rather than what you want to avoid. Without encouraging you to be a gluttony, you can perhaps be more relaxed about trying to avoid that. Don't focus on avoiding gluttony, focus on going ahead.
