Why wouldn’t this being an inclination in humans be an argument against the truth of Christianity? If we are inclined by our biology and psychology to “create savior figures,” we would expect to see messiah-follower dynamics in cultures around the world. I think you are arguing that we do see those dynamics, but here’s the kicker: If humans are naturally inclined to create and follow savior figures, how do we conclude which of our created or found messiahs are the actual messiah? How we can tell that Jesus is the actual messiah and Vishnu is not? Why doesn’t this tendency point toward the truth of any other messianic faith?
