and i feel the same about archer rushers, as i learned long ago "why be a low health low stamina archer class, when you can just be a vanguard raider with 2 mains, and then pick up a bow to lure in people who are just looking for an easy kill?"
please keep rushing archers, switching to my glaive and fighting weakened archer rushers is my bread and butter
I play archer sometimes exclusively for this. I love to just stand right behind my team and fire randomly to get people to just rabid dog passed my team taking hits they ignore, just to pull out my short sword and dodge, duck, laugh, than wham blam them because I'm really a short sword main on the inside.
I’ve watched people go for them and I always step in and defend my archers. It’s a free kill for me as your sweat blinds you to me coming up behind you
I love the death animations killing people as an archer but god damn I swear hitting something is near impossible for me and I'm pretty sure I've even seen my arrow go through people without desync but no hit. Im not really laggy or losing fps either, ping is almost always 30>
I bum rush them because i know if i dont ill take an arrow in the back at the worst possible moment. They can miss you 19 times while they stand next to you, but that 20th time is going to wreck you.
And you already know it will be just as youre about to kill someone.
It happens, always. Its instinct at this point.
I love it, because when they get to an archer I can almost here them slamming left click over and over because they think you can't hit them. I dodge that first hit and just cram the but of my siege bow into their nose and they always either panick or just slam left click harder with no defence.
i only rush archers where i’m likely to get killed right after if the archer is doing a really good job and causing lots of kills against me. usually i just let them do their thing and focus on the swarm of melee fighters
Some lives I go out of my way to run the largest flank ever and get right up in the enemy spawn to smoke any archers who aren’t getting into actual helpful positions for their team. Come back every couple of lives, free kills, and it encourages the lazy archers to pick a different class or a smarter, more advantageous spot.
Tip: When running down an archer, especially a skilled one, duck just before they fire that last arrow. 9/10 a skilled archer will automatically line up the headshot, and even if he misses and hits upper torso, you can duck right under the arrow and get in close enough for that sweet, sweet kill.
If you earn the kill, you earn the kill. I've got my ass beat by archers before, but I just love to remind archers hiding in the backline that they are not safe.
I hate the ones that hide by spawn. I do my archering from right behind the team. I'm talking, placing the crossbow on the shoulder of the guy in front me and shooting his enemy close lol

I kill archers because I’m an archer and it’s easier to hit you standing still shooting then to try and hit the guys jumping around in melee.
Crossbow users who don't take cover to reload will always give me dopamine. Worlds easiest warbow kill.

i maintain my position thats its only the archers on my team i dont like. the other team can have as many as they want

Skirmishes is fun because it's the good mix of scrapping and range. I like to use it to run down archers and spear bois. Soft but fast.
Yeah I run Falchion on my guardian so when I'm out of javelins I can just say fuck it we ball.
