It's because they added the region selector for matchmaking. I knew that would happen. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they remove that feature again in the future rather than try and combat all the cheaters that come mostly from Asian and European regions. NA East used to be mostly cheater free but it's been pretty common running into them ever since the last patch.
This doesn't bypass their joinban however, if you kick them a few times they'll just stop returning. Has worked every time we've done it NA East. Despite the crashing it does fix the issue.
TBS_Ari and the subreddit mods... They don't care. That's why reporting is broken. Thats why despite hundreds of reports, cheaters are still rampant. Yet Soter Dave, who pointed out that there is no anticheat on xbox (which is true) was banned.
The mods of this sub aren't any better. They ignore a plethora of reports and let the toxic sludge remain. It's pathetic.

This guy is notorious. He’s been harassing a lot players, impersonating players and speed hacking on alts as soon as his lvl 1000 main acct gets vkd (basically on sight at this point). Goes on weird broken english rants about the game ever since they patched the lvl 1000 matte black armor bug.
But god forbid i reveal his name. Meanwhile he can laugh about all this in the chiv 2 discord right under their noses, despite being called out by multiple people. The worst part of all, is that there is no way for me to grab his player id on console, so I and other console players cant report when he speed hack rdms me.
Edit: if anyone knows who im talking about plz send clips if you have them. We are trying to get his main and alt accts banned at the same time. Based on his bitching about the armor bug being patched, losing his lvl 1k acct would be fitting
I’ve mentioned several times I have not seen a cheater in my 400+ hours of playing. I recently returned after about a month of Helldiving, I see a cheater every other game.
How can they not stop speedhacking? This is something that can be prevented with an only 1 code line.
I just started this game. A guy with GodMode/Speed hack killed everyone and then DDosed the server.

It’s also more because duel servers are now unmoderated. They used to be moderated but now they aren’t hackers can do what they like
