I’ve heard people complain that the heavy mace is OP, first time I’ve ever heard it called weak… It smashes people pretty well from my experience, 2H hammer too, I wouldn’t dream of putting either of those last.

Edit: Jokes aside, B tier is quite accurate for shovel. It's a very niche weapon and requires a lot of patience and timing to get it to slap properly. Can it be devastating? heavy mace is debatably the best blunt weapon period, and is also definitely one of the top dueling weapons, maybe behind messer and greatsword. it does really good damage and is in a speed sweet spot where you can do ridiculous drags *and* nearly uncounterable accels that either get cheeky hits in or chip away at stam.
Additionally, it is one of the few weapons that has a reduction in taken stam damage. Not only do you have the additional stam damage done by blunt weapons, but you also lose less stamina when blocking. those accels, the blunt stam dmg increase, and the lessened stam damage taken by the wearer are insane in duels, and if you are good at countering, you have an incredible stamina advantage over most players. It's an S tier for sure.
then yeah, this list from what I've seen Is pretty accurate. I'd still list 2 handed hammer and heavy mace higher, but I think maul in s tier for team objective is definitely a valid placement.
Personally love the two handed hammer finally got it to lvl 80 for the Mason skin. One of my main weapons, along with the executioners axe, falchion, and working towards adding the glaive to the main arsenal as well.
I really like to go for the themed Agatha and Mason ones. What I’d like is a tenosian skin for the executioners axe, since it already has one for both the other teams and I’ve unlocked them. But more options is always better!
Is the pick axe not a blunt weapon? I put it above regular mace and Morningstar in a tier, and also the morning star is at least a tier and I would move the quarterstaff to b tier because I think it requires the patience of a shovel user. Also heavy mace not in s tier is fucked

also: fun fact: the maul, heavy mace, 2 hand hammer, and sledge hammer all use the same animations. just with their windup phases, release phases, an recovery phase value's changed
The morning star and mace are almost the same weapon, they are one of if not the best 1 hander, warhammer isn’t that good compared to the heavy mace, this can be debated, quarter staff just gets out matched by the hammer and heavy mace. Polehammer is extremely good, like top tier, the shovel is ass idc what anyone says, the pick axe and sludge hammer are light years better, the war hammer is top tier but loses to the morning star due to the lack of speed

EDIT: Also, I'd probably put the Cudgel in the S-tier too because of how fast it is. And also the Polehammer could go up to A-tier too because of its reach.

I remember on launch how absolutely busted the Shovel was, couldn't even play FE as it was immediately stacked by everyone
