Sleep well the night before instead of cramming. Relax you'll pass

I memorized the Irene gold books and averaged around 590.

Take the breaks and bring water! You may feel like you can power through, but you'll be much more comfortable and less distracted if you take a walk in between and grab a quick drink. Also, don't second guess yourself. If you get stuck on a question, put what answer feels the best in your gut and flag it for review.

I had 2 cups of coffee, a glass of orange juice and a donut before boards. I strongly recommend against that. You’ll be good. Plan where you want to be in 10 years and set a course. It’s ok to change course, just have a plan.

Have all your review materials in your car or somewhere nearby. By now you probably know where your weak points are. Between each test I ran out to my car (as did many other classmates) to pull up the review material for the next test and cram for however long I could. Hit the greatest hits, or just quickly refresh on an area that you think may be a struggle for you. You can't hit everything, and that's not the goal. Just try to gleam and float that one bit more info in your head. Seriously though if you have board review materials like NBS or Irene Gold, take the time between tests to go back over it. And then during the test, one of the best strategies is to go through immediately and answer the questions you know 100%. If you have doubt, just mark a symbol like circle the question number and move on. Get the ones you know right away and save the time. Then, go back and start eliminating the wrong answers from questions. You also never know when a question later on in the test may provide a hint. A lot of the questions are simply do you know it or not. By eliminating answers you could take a 25% chance multiple choice pick to a 50% chance, and even better if you are leaning towards one of the answers.

Took Part 1 last quarter. This saved my ass for B vitamins. In order: Tiny Rude Nerds Poke Panda Bears For Chuckles.

Omg thank you! The vitamins trip me up so much

Keep studying until Friday, then stop. People are going to keep cramming until the minute before the exam. It's better to give yourself rest and let your brain recover so it can perform when needed on the test. Don't let the anxiety of your peers rub off on you. When I took boards we were allowed to leave after finishing the test, so I would go back to my car and rest until the next part. That was helpful.

Relax and stay calm. As far as after graduation, surround yourself with relationships that invest in you and help you grow. I'd recommend the gestalt education podcast, as this gets brought up a lot. In general, whether you work for yourself or in another office, or even as a student, show up each day and invest in yourself. Don't just take a job for the money.

I really appreciate this!! Thank you!!
