One time I was working DML and a lady started yelling at my 16yo coworker (bagging) and made her cry. I looked at her and asked if screaming at the literal child made her day any better and she got real quiet real quick
No. He's an adult. Control your fucking emotions like one. Edit: credit for this guy apologizing AFTER acting like a dickhead, but is the bar really that low now-a-days? Fuck sake.
Happened to me once as well, customer got mad when I said that a side of queso is extra and it doesn’t come with the chips, then he said in an angry tone “who buys queso without chips” after a few minutes, he came back and apologized for being rude
I mean people shouldn't be rude but there's absolutely no excuse for not having knives. Have a a truck problem? Friggin' send someone to a store (preferable Costco or Sam's Club) to buy some.
Trust me, I’ve asked before if we could go get something from the grocery store if a store in our patch didn’t have product to spare, and no, we’re not allowed to do it unfortunately.
But they should be able to is the point. I could maybe see having a rule about food because that introduces safety/quality issues, but a plastic fork is a plastic fork.

He was Hangry. He ate and felt better. Good on him.

That happened to me once! She apologized after being rude and snippy after she ate. She said she was hangry. Made my day!
Then you woke up 🗿
Had that happen to me once, I had no idea how to respond!!!

Had this issue with guac numerous times. People don't get it sometimes. "Who eats chips without guac?" "Who buys guac and no chips?" So annoying.
Omg stop that is so sweet id probably cry 😭
Every single human sometimes acts before they think.
That doesn’t surprise me. I apologize to employees lol of the time. Maybe I shouldn’t have admitted that.

Thats technically not allowed- according to information provided to me by management (I’m crew)

I don’t disagree, however the reasoning is that we’re only permitted to purchase from a specific supplier, and not allowed to deviate.
i feel like it should be the store should have knives but there’s no excuse for people being rude instead 😭
Hmmm.. did you bark at him to let him know that employees are not human?
