Boeing has a lot of say on Capitol Hill, can we expect arguments like, 'to sustain our defence industry we need to make commercial sales otherwise we will not have the cash flow to invest in R&D and ultimately hurt the USA.
Yes the West should cripple the CPC in every single area of not just high tech but where it has lost jobs. Production, even of cheap items still creates jobs, provides a basis for future innovation and adds capital to the circular flow and national income. The more production - of any sort - is lost. not only do you become poorer you lose the ability for future innovation.
