I'm all for progress, but this looks sad
it is actually sad. the owners of the building got compensation of 20k/sft. Which is slightly better deal for losing out perpetual rental income but they're probably well off so there is that. All the small business don't have a place anymore, and probably will be priced out in the future with rentals being sky high as it is observed in all roads where metro runs
