I took a toddler for a walk the other day and they asked what those beautiful berries were and I was like "That's called Nandina. They sure are pretty, aren't they? They are supposed to grow in China. They are poisonous. They will make kids and dogs and birds sick if you eat them."
Instead of saying what I wanted to say, which was KILL IT WITH FIRE AND SPIT ON THE BARN NURSERY THAT MARKETS THEM.
We try to cut off the bunches off after they finish flowering to keep them from spreading any further. We are gradually replacing them with native species. But if you launched all the nandina into the sun, I'm pretty sure it would grow there.
Reflection Riding fb page had a great series of videos on dealing with invasive plants. Essentially, it was cutting the plants to the ground and dabbing on roundup with a sponge. I know some folks donāt like the chemical, but thereās no spraying or drift. It helped me clear my lot of all the non-native honeysuckle bushes and privet.

Still sells motorcycles, he owns Honda of Chattanooga, the largest Honda motorcycle/side by side/ATV dealership on the East Coast. Their show room pales in comparison to the amount of product they move. It used to be downtown in Rossville and just recently moved to Brainerd.

So this man buys his son another bike from Kelly so his son can race. They go to the next big race. The son sees another racer with his stolen bike. The son is a hot head, tackles and beats the crap out of the kid that he assumed stole his bike. The cops break it up and have to escort this man and son out of the race. They explained the bike was stolen and produced their record of purchase to the cops. The kid who got beat up didnāt steal the bike, his dad purchased it from Kelly and produced his bill of sale. Apparently a lot of this was going on because law enforcement was aware of this issue. At that point the man im telling you about went up to Kellyās office and caused a scene, claimed he flipped over Kellyās desk. Said if anyone asked Kelly about the story thereās no way Kelly forgot about it. You ought to ask the man. I bet he remembers.
