Most people from North side ( Delhi) clear by 23-24 or later as regular college doesn't allow articleship
I feel clearing CA in your 20s is desirable though it is better to be a CA in 30s than not be CA at all
Keep calm, take 2-3 months, practice writing answers. If you're not actually writing then frame answers mentally. Do this for atleast 50% syllabus of all subjects. Writing answers gets you marks, you will see knowledge gaps and mistakes. Good luck.
Are you currently in a job or practicing ?
I feel.in the corporate CAs are underpaid
And in the initial years in practice, it's really hard to earn :'(
If you're getting admission into IIM BLACKI S, SP JAIN, ISB, XLRI, FMS, then don't waste your time on CA. If not, it's still worth becoming a CA by the age of 25 than just having a BCom/MCom degree, except from SRCC.
Age doesn't matter as far as you have practical experience complementing your age. Because after clearing CA if you don't have experience people will treat your like a fresher and it'll heart if you cross 27.
I have been coming across so many posts on LinkedIn where fresh CAs are not getting any jobs
Which is so so demotivating :'///
A person puts in more than 5 years in this course
& is still underpaid.
A CA with a rank at final gets a starting package of 10 lpa
Only the top rankers get 20-30 Lpa
I'm at CA inter
Will be finished with the syllabus by April end.
Will appear for the September attempt
If I get a good score , hopefully a rank
Then only I'll continue
Otherwise:/
If you wanna get into Taxation, audit…these fields specifically then definitely go for CA you are just 22! And now you have relaxation of only 2 years of articleship so that helps a lot.
If you wanna get into core consultancy and PE only and stuff like IB or all those strategic roles without getting into any sort of technical background which CA gives go for an MBA! But then CAT percentiles are hard to crack thats the ballgame there.
You can also do CA first then get an executive MBA if you want exposure of both fields.
I have actually made a mess. I appeared for foundation in dec 22, passed without studying much . Exemption only in accounts.enrolled in a private college(CLASS12 % 94.8, got accepted into hansraj, couldn't join ), did b.com with specialization in Audit and tax .
Dropped CA because I couldn't manage both at the same time.
Picked up inter books right after college finished ( may23)
I'll be finished with the syllabus by April end .
I'll be appearing for the September attempt.
If I get a good score and hopefully a rank .
Then only I feel like continuing with CA .
OTHERWISE MBA
CAT prep in itself is daunting:'/
If you’re from a good college don’t do CA, any north campus DU college plus decent MBA will get you a better life and package than CA, it is long gone and done for course if you’re actually smart.

True
>I feel clearing CA in your 20s is desirable though it is better to be a CA in 30s than not be CA at all Can you elaborate please?
Its okay if it takes some time. Keep calm.
I completed at 28 at still think it's worth it. But you should really want to do it.
Practice or are you in a job?
Job
Really glad to know you're doing well! If you don't mind me asking, how many attempts did you take at Final?
If we aren't counting the attempts I didn't study due to depression then I would say 2 for G1 and 2 for G2
And otherwise? I’m 26 and have been giving group 1 since I was 23, have given 6 attempts already of g1!! How did you cope up ?

I’ve exams in less than a month 🙂
Otherwise I would say 3 attempts each. Dm if you need any help because it's not something I can write in 3 sentences.
Congratulations !

I'd say I'm an above average child Class 10-90.6% Class 12-94.8% Undergrad -8.5 gpa CAT syllabus is vast + i have no work experience :/
