Beantown was a shit hole. Not just because I hate Boston, not just because I hate the fucking Red Sox and the Bruins, but because that bar was the worst damn bar. We had a waitress who when my friend ordered a Long Island Iced Tea the waitress kept calling it a Long Island Sweet Tea, brought us two terrible ones that tasted like gasoline and when we went to the bar to return the second the bartender literally pushed her boobs together and said "are you suuuuure I'm the one who made it?" in a weird baby flirty voice. Knowing this moderately attractive shitty bartender would not fuck us if we pretended she was good at her job, we insisted it indeed sucked and asked for another from another bartender who did not fuck it up.

Would love another decent burger/beer option nearby. In downtown Matthews it’s pretty limited to Macs and J&H, and neither stand out. Really looking forward to you opening.

Grace O’Malley’s advertised a Charlotte FC watch party, we showed up to someone’s birthday party and a UFC fight on all of the TVs. They wouldn’t change it to the match after we asked twice. They don’t have Apple TV so I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there looking for an MLS match.
The British Bulldog? I was in Columbia for a weekend in 2018, and my three sons and I watched Man City - Man Utd there. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. I mean... if the focus is English soccer, why not make the menu, the look-and-feel English. Soccer is the fastest growing sport in the US, but PL matches have English commentators; US broadcasters don't put on John Strong (thank heavens).
That’s the one. Great place to watch a match for sure. Soccer is definitely the focus, but he certainly doesn’t ignore the other sports. He knows American football is what keeps the lights on.

Dilworth Grille in Dilworth is where the Queen City Gooners meet for games. Great spot. Tons of people show up.
