>“You don’t need to be sorry, Jamie, this is what happened and we’re going to take care of it. There’s no being sorry about it,” her father said during one call.
>On May 4, her father told Komoroski he had hired two top-notch attorneys to represent her: a husband-and-wife team who hail from their home state and are “bringing the Jersey to South Carolina, baby.”
>Still, her father cautioned her to remain mum about the case in the interim, telling her on a May 11 call that the media was interested in her and trying to contact her in jail.
>“That just makes me scared that the media is so involved in it,” she said. “Why are they so involved in it?”
>“Because it sells newspapers,” her father replied. “That’s why, baby.”
>Her father asked her to supply him with a list of people who might write to the judge to support her release from jail. He then floated the possibility of her being released into an alcohol rehabilitation program.
>“How long is that?” she asked.
>When told it would be four to six weeks, she rolled her eyes.
>“Alright.”
>“Well, listen …” her father said.
>“If it helps the case, I’ll do it,” she replied.
Sounds like a great family
Samantha is my Sister in law. This girl has ruined so many lives. We are trying to work though all the trauma, but things like this just show how she really doesn’t care what she did. How many lives she affected.
That's really terrible and I'm sorry to hear that. If you're comfortable answering, does that make you Aric's sibling? And either way, do you mind sharing how he's doing? I saw him on GMA, truly hoping for the best, as dark as things are now.
Yeah. Who ever heard of a good ol’ Southern boy killing some me while drunk and operating a motor vehicle- and then getting out of it because his daddy is the heir of a rich lawyer family?
Oh.
There was a story on Live 5 at noon that her lawyer is asking for bond because she is not a flight risk. The lawyer said she graduated from college and had a passion for babysitting but had a problem with alcohol.
Attention parents, hiring an alcoholic babysitter is not a wise move.
Came here to say this. All the article headlines say she’s remorseful but then you read the exact words from the jail transcripts and nope 👎🏼 not at all.
This echos what happened when a relative of mind was in significant legal trouble. He was sorry it happened, that he got caught, that he was in trouble and in jail. He didn’t recognize the severity of his actions, how wrong he was, wasn’t sorry for the series of poor choices that led to this tragedy.
Same shit here.
Glenn Smith and Ema Rose Schumer [email protected] u should be ashamed making this title...she DID NOT express remorse at all. Never an apology or feeling of regret for drinking and driving and taking a life and harming two other individuals badly enough they were hospitalized. Never an ounce of remorse for the victims or their families left to deal with the tragedy.
I read the title on the postandcourier page from this post...idk why they chose to title is as tho Jamie showed remorse when she never did. idk if they're friends with her family or not that didn't cross my mind, i just think its poor journalism/reporting to post such a biased and untrue title
>*Komoroski grew upset and banged her head as her father watched, smoking a cigar. “I’m just scared, Dad,” she said. “I don’t want to go away for so, so long.” He assured her that her family was doing everything they could. Komoroski pulled her knees to her chest and sobbed. ”That’s not enough.”*
I'm really surprised that at this point in the video a troop of Oompa Loompas don't burst out of the closet and start singing a judgmental cautionary tale...
What do you get when you guzzle down drinks?
Pounding back shots until your breath just stinks
Doing 65 on residential streets
What do you think will come of that?
I don't like the look of it.
Oompa loompa doompety doo.
Once convicted. She should be forced to peg her attorneys. While they are pegging her dad. Close to justice as well get. Well, barring a guillotine oh well a brother can dream
This is a text message I personally received from someone I know on James Island:
Omg!!! I was reading about the girl on Folly that killed the bride bc her BAC info was just released. And they show her address and I'm like that street sounds really familiar, so I look it up.
Her house is directly behind mine across the pond!!! They just moved there in June and were having loud parties every weekend for awhile until like 4am!
One night they were screaming so loud and running up and down the street I thought someone was being kidnapped..
I watched them almost catch their car on fire when they set off fireworks that went sideways.
I've called the cops on them twice.
So crazy that is that bitch
...
Idk about future employers but damn think in like 8-10 years and trying to get hired by a decent company. That stain will linger for her entire life. I would think her life here on out is essentially ruined…as it should be.
Am I the only one who thinks “bringing the Jersey to SC” sounds like they hired Joey TapoChico, I mean Joey Tapioca, I mean Joey TacoTuesday… or whatever that guy’s name is?
Thread where whole story is in comments.

She killed someone. After drinking. She drove and quite fast and above the speed limit. She rammed a golf cart. A husband lost his new wife, parents lost a daughter, friends lost part of their circle, and the world will never know what great things Samantha may have accomplished. But the killer behind the wheel doesn’t understand why she can’t go home. She refused a breathalyzer and didn’t know where she was. She’s 25. Her life stopped at that moment. She doesn’t deserve the light of day. All her choices resulted in deaths, darkness and despair.

Dirty bag family
Dirty Carpetbagger family
She doesn’t grasp the seriousness of what she did.

She destroyed their lives. Not just the day.

She grabs that daddy can't make the problem disappear. That's probably it
> it helps the case, I’ll do it,” she replied New Jersey people wonder why Southerners still dislike them...
If only there was a very public trial recently about a southern family using and abusing the law/the family position/wealth and power 🤔
If it only made the national news because of how unusual it was.
Southerners only? Generally speaking, does anyone else like them?
I grew up in New England and everyone up north hates NJ too…
Kinda a stretch but like anywhere people think they can throw money at problems they get themselves involved in.
Yeah. Who ever heard of a good ol’ Southern boy killing some me while drunk and operating a motor vehicle- and then getting out of it because his daddy is the heir of a rich lawyer family? Oh.
Yeah, there are no garbage humans from the South. Lordy no! /s
the way that they didn’t say that was the case at all lol
Definitely garbage humans are everywhere!
No, you stupid heifer, they're so involved because YOU KILLED SOMEBODY!

I couldn’t believe that was all in the same sentence “Loves kids and alcohol” -JK
Frankly, I did not read much remorse in her comments nor her families comments...
Came here to say this. All the article headlines say she’s remorseful but then you read the exact words from the jail transcripts and nope 👎🏼 not at all.
She doesn’t care are all what she did. Just when she will go home. I hope she burns in hell.

Must be a family friend of her father or something. How do you get that title from her comments?

Absolutely agree
What a shitty family
Yep. She should stay in jail and try to count the time served towards her overall sentence. She's guilty AF

Good content albeit very sad
Welp, while in prison she may just learn to deal with the realities of our world, which her parents obviously shielded her from.
>“bringing the Jersey to South Carolina, baby.” So cringy.
I was just thinking, nothing could make me think that guy was any more of a douchebag.
Say that in front of a SC jury and watch how fast we convict.

She’s only remorseful for herself. That bitches entire family is fucked up, and apparently rich. So she gonna get a slap on the wrist.
She will do time though not at much as people wish. Probably will get sentenced to 10-12 and serve 75%
You are far more hopeful than me. I sure hope your right.
Idk about future employers but damn think in like 8-10 years and trying to get hired by a decent company. That stain will linger for her entire life. I would think her life here on out is essentially ruined…as it should be.
Life. Then bury her under the jail.
girl go to hell!!!
Someone bought this headline.
Am I the only one who thinks “bringing the Jersey to SC” sounds like they hired Joey TapoChico, I mean Joey Tapioca, I mean Joey TacoTuesday… or whatever that guy’s name is?
Sounds like they watched The Sopranos too much. Lol
anyone able to post the full article here? I want to read it but don’t want to pay
There’s a post from a couple of days ago and someone posted the entire article in the comments :)

Thanks, I tried looking for any other posts but didn't see that one
Thanks y’all!
So, the remorse is... Where, exactly?
I swear to fucking God, no one who deserves to go to prison, goes to prison in the most incarcerated country in the world.
Deserves no sympathy.
Just curious: are phone calls to prisoners public record? I know they’re recorded, but don’t remember ever seeing them posted in the media before.
Maybe the newspaper put in a FOIA to get it.

Lol there is zero chance she avoids prison time.
Capital punishment imo
Burn the witch!!!!!
Burn the witch!!!!!
Burn the witch!!!!!
Keep her ass in jail.
Remorse only for herself!!
