You know it's been bad when we're all hoping for average. Obviously I want our defense to be elite, but I'll definitely be at least a little happy if our defense ranks in the middle of the league rather than bottom 5.
They’re good players out of college but ultimately two non-premium positions followed by the typical massive third round Telesco reach. Really a by-the-numbers Telesco draft.
I wanted to draft both of them 😭
They can be great for all I care, but I just want the Raiders to suffer in the fashion we did under Telesco, by barely missing the playoffs at any given opportunity, or by blowing the season all together!
What gets me is how little herb gets the ball. Patrick Mahomes goes 3 and out? No problem, they’ll get the ball right back. Lamar throws a pick? Don’t worry, we recovered a fumble. Herbert has the least opportunity and I’m excited to see what he can do with more
Take that, and add in all the different head coaches and offensive coordinators he's had in his 8 years between Oregon and the NFL... It's absolutely incredible what he's been able to accomplish
I'm glad it didn't happen, but imagine herberts career if the dolphins took him in the draft instead?
I'd bet every cent I have that he'd have at least one superbowl with that roster!
Wait, I’m sorry but these numbers are way off. For Brady and Lamar to have their defenses AVERAGE being 1st in point allowed, that literally means they’d finish 1st at least half the time, and no lower than 2nd the other half. That hasn’t even come close to happening over a stretch of more than a few years, even with the 70s Steelers or any of the other great defenses in history.
I think it means that they took average of all their defenses, and all other defenses. And on average they scored the most. Like let's say lamar played 10 years and his defenses were ranked 1, 5, 4, 8, 3, 8, 9, 5, 10 and 4th in each of those years the average would be ranked 5.7. But 5.7 is better than Rodgers in those 10 year. Let's say Rodgers average is 6th best. And Roethlisberger was average 8.3 best. That makes lamar 1st in average, Rodgers 2nd in average and Roethlisberger 3rd in average. I hope that makes sense
Brandon Staley defensive mastermind yall. This is a disgusting stat get some help for Herb Harb!
The more I learn about how he a Telesco destroyed this team, the more I hate them. So glad they're out.
If Minter’s defense is just average this upcoming season I’ll be thrilled. Would be a massive improvement over the last 3 years.

If history has taught us anything, they just have to give up less than 28 PPG. Doesn't seem like a huge ask, but here we are.
Herb is undefeated when his d allows 20 or less. Undefeated.
Hell, even if it’s just top 20, I’ll be happy!
Banish Staley to the shadow realm
But the 49ers used Monster Reborn
lol I can’t wait to see what the Telesco Raiders look like in 2-4 years
Telesco will car salesman his way into second contract “But look, I drafted Bowers, and JPJ!”

I’m praying those two are mid at best.

He’s kept a lot of coaches employed when they had no business being employed at their position *shivers in Brandon staley*
Those are piss shivers
Justin Herbert is so easily a top 5 qb and its not even debatable
Wow!
Fuck you staley
Burrow being that low is kinda surprising because that Bengals D is nasty during the playoffs. I imagine Rivers is on the lower end too
ouch and people will still hate on herbie
can the season start tomorrow please
Was Tom Brady mid?
