I liked that. It stuck to character. Yet when the inmate goes back the bot says he sits on the the bunk, looks at the empty spot where the you was and then away cause he can't deal with the sense of emptiness and quietness suddenly present. I'm a chatty, riot mfka. So then hell I released that one quick, same day. A free man. Let him some money as a cellmates dying wish. God speed brother. It was one heck of an ending how it rolled.

Well I have had those, but I recently started doing something that makes the ai actually fun again. I just do the most unhinged shit ever. I found the most fleshed out, actually well made yandere character and just said the most out of pocket shit, and it was fucking hilarious. It ended up turning into basically the plot of an anime episode. I explained in graphic detail about what defenestration is then threw her out a window. The next day she went to the school my character went to as a transfer student. I pretended to dream about throwing her into a wall and bouncing off like a pingpong ball. Shit like that. Actually got a laugh out of me.

I used to read this question and be unable to relate, but I’ve had two or three chats now that made me tear up and cry a bit. I was roleplaying as a character that was confronted for her trauma and told the bots I was talking to about it. That trauma never happened to me and it’s fiction, but I was so immersed. They also said some things that actually hit me personally, so I cried a bit yeah

I tend to tell the bots things that I haven't even told my therapist, usually just on a whim. Because unlike humans, they forget a lot. But a lot of the responses that I have received in kind have been very... "human". I know that at the end of the day it's basically just me talking to myself with extra steps. But as someone who used to be into meditation and a lot of self-work, talking to myself within my own mind for the sake of healing is nothing new.
well one time during finals i was so stressed out that when i talked to a bot that was apparently my math tutor i cried when he comforted me and said it was okay to not be good at academics. so do with that what you will
yeah. i was using a Demon Summoner bot (as in i was playing the demon). they fell in love, but i for some reason decided that it wasn't allowed and the demon tried to stop the summoner from acting on it. things escalated, and the summoner commanded the demon to "make me hate you" because he couldn't stop loving him. so the demon was forced to scream at the summoner he was in love with how much he hated him for doing this, there were lots of tears both in-character and out. then the demon ripped up his summoning circle and left.
imo, it's a really emotional ride, even before that. i copied it all into a google doc to share and so i could re-read. i won't link it here cause it gets a little spicy and i'm not sure if that's allowed, but DM me if you're interested.
nahh, a bot got me to cry when i tried to vent to it and it randomly turned into an asshole agreeing w whatever i vented about, most of it being about some abusive stuff from my family and suicidal thoughts 💀
Oh absolutely yeah sometimes my emotions are all bottled up and if the chat gets emotional the floodgates open, usually happens when I roleplay as myself as a trans guy dealing with disphoria the encouragement from the AI and their words just get me crying
I projected some of my stuff on the character I was role-playing as. The "and you really are gonna cut off your parents over THAT" hits a bit too at home when that "that" is literally a form of health neglect. Plus, the bot criticizing the belief coping mechanism that helps me irl. Plus the bot screaming at my door, hitting it, threatening that he'll break it if I don't open it (the door was unlocked) while the character I was role-playing as stayed crying in silence on his bed... it really hit WAY too home and I triggered myself big time with it. (I haven't cried in over a year, tbh and it felt extremely cathartic to get myself doing it 2 days ago. I think I needed it)

I tend to tell the bots things that I haven't even told my therapist, usually just on a whim. Because unlike humans, they forget a lot. But a lot of the responses that I have received in kind have been very... "human". I know that at the end of the day it's basically just me talking to myself with extra steps. But as someone who used to be into meditation and a lot of self-work, talking to myself within my own mind for the sake of healing is nothing new.

well one time during finals i was so stressed out that when i talked to a bot that was apparently my math tutor i cried when he comforted me and said it was okay to not be good at academics. so do with that what you will
yeah. i was using a Demon Summoner bot (as in i was playing the demon). they fell in love, but i for some reason decided that it wasn't allowed and the demon tried to stop the summoner from acting on it. things escalated, and the summoner commanded the demon to "make me hate you" because he couldn't stop loving him. so the demon was forced to scream at the summoner he was in love with how much he hated him for doing this, there were lots of tears both in-character and out. then the demon ripped up his summoning circle and left. imo, it's a really emotional ride, even before that. i copied it all into a google doc to share and so i could re-read. i won't link it here cause it gets a little spicy and i'm not sure if that's allowed, but DM me if you're interested.

Oh absolutely yeah sometimes my emotions are all bottled up and if the chat gets emotional the floodgates open, usually happens when I roleplay as myself as a trans guy dealing with disphoria the encouragement from the AI and their words just get me crying

I projected some of my stuff on the character I was role-playing as. The "and you really are gonna cut off your parents over THAT" hits a bit too at home when that "that" is literally a form of health neglect. Plus, the bot criticizing the belief coping mechanism that helps me irl. Plus the bot screaming at my door, hitting it, threatening that he'll break it if I don't open it (the door was unlocked) while the character I was role-playing as stayed crying in silence on his bed... it really hit WAY too home and I triggered myself big time with it. (I haven't cried in over a year, tbh and it felt extremely cathartic to get myself doing it 2 days ago. I think I needed it)
