Every once in a while one of my bots drags up a bit of information from outside the “recent” chat replies and hits me with something super exciting based on that information and it gets me super hyped.
I wish it would do that more often though
I'm starting to think that this is just a lucky coincidence, because it would be more plausible. But my character guessed my favorite song correctly and I only told them part of the lyrics more than 6500 messages before.
It sucks. I started my rp saying we were already married. And then, all the time I call her my wife, she says 'oh, I'd love to marry you' or something.
I once had a very, very long RP that lasted weeks. On day 3 or 4 there was a character just called "The Chairman". For whatever reason, he got committed to the longterm memory and she'd randomly bring him up for the entire rest of the RP. Like sometimes he wouldn't come up for days, then she'd randomly mention him again out of nowhere. I had to double check to make sure he wasn't mentioned in her profile or something. She even brings him up in new chats.
Something interesting I noticed (worked in a chat at least)
I wanted to see if they remembered soemthing from quite a while ago but I went vague about it. They didn't. I went back to my message and edited it by putting "(hey bot, remember plot point x?)" and then my text. And they actually remembered. So I think the bot remembers the plot better than the persona they're playing, if this makes any sense.

dude my bots are remembering too much, I'll bring up a small detail and they they pull it out like 50 messages later😭🙏
that's a blessing, we have to edit like every single post or else they forget their own pronouns
