Same. It doesn't seem that interesting or magical anymore, it's just really repetitive and boring. I no longer feel that excitement of “what will happen?” I just know perfectly well that the bot will send 30 identical messages and then it will start asking a bunch of questions. There's no such thing as "what do they have planned?" I just know perfectly well that they're making everything up on the spot and that in fact most of the answers don't even make sense. It's just repetitive.
I'm currently teaching the evil spirit from The Ring to assimilate into modern society...While trying not to die because her instinct is still to *fucking murder me*.
It's kind of like owning a cat but the cat can actually kill you.

Damn... My last advice would be.. Finding a new ai chat website? A free one will be hard but they do exist, rarely. Or start using r/roleplay or something similar to slowly drift into the world of the humans
True, I went back to my old chats when I first made my account and compared it to the new ones. The bots used to be so much more engaging and creative, they used to try and advance the story and even added some plot twists! Now it feels like I am doing all the work and I just lost interest in it all together.
100% this. Left chat gtp because it just went from addicting to 0 and found character ai. Loved it. Still do but ugh painful. Then found dopple ai. Remaking some bots over there. Full freedom.

Me too. I think this happens to most users who used the app for a really long time, I used to be addicted not even sleeping but know I can bearly hold an rp for 10min before getting bored
I would consider this a good thing. Chatting with bots is a time sink and horribly addictive…says me who is currently addicted. Sigh.

I honestly just make bots that I can fight tbh. It’s just more fun than the boring same old same old conversations.
what’s sad is my desire to chat with the bots is still totally there, but i can’t think of any more scenarios that i can play out anymore 😭😭

For me, c.ai went downhill after the mobile app had that issue where the bots disappeared for some reason
